Just the mere mention of that scene set me off!! Actually I was expecting him to b*tch about having to do the chocobo race for one million times to get the sun sigil but this is even better!!
Deleting a save file to start over; imagine all your choices, progress, the journey you’ve been on to fulfill your destiny all gone so the player can find out what happens when you walk down the other path or something similar
One of your best lists yet, and I'm very much guilty of testing out whether or not fire will burn you or not. It's just my way of testing whether the devs decided to put in a burning mechanic. You gotta experience every part of a game right? Show the developers you care. Someone had to code it in. 😄
Exploring every corner of the world in search of random junk we're probably not gonna use anyway. "Yes, I know we had to use a potion at max health in order to have the inventory space for this other, completely identical potion, but now that we've taken it out of the chest, we're almost 1% closer to a screen you can't see, saying that we've collected everything, and that 100% verification is worth more than your sanity and mine, combined." I love collectathon 3D platformers. :)
Not to mention when you go afk and leave your character in the middle of an area, and come back to find they’ve been mauled by an enemy in your absence... so sorry... so many of my pgs
The sketches in this feature were absolutely awesome. Really funny stuff. Thank you Ash, Dave, Rob & Rosie, and to to everyone behind the scenes for the amazing work y'all do.❤
Playing badly or being a noob. For example, Dante from DMC must be thinking, just who gave me the controller, at least in the beginning. Or Batman staring at me and silently asking, "Do you think the real Batman would get spotted? Do you!?....PATHETIC!"
Robs Tidus impersonation reminded me of Epic NPC Man, the crying npc with the hilarious cry sound… hahaha He basically did a slow version of it, I loved it!
Brilliant idea for a feature, I’d definitely add all those trips down the same paths looking for collectibles/treasure etc since I must collect everything and my sense of direction is on the same level as Rob’s, sorry Rob 😅
another one I'd add is "random dodging" where theres a dodge mechanic and you randomly dodge with no one there. (looking at you roll button in uncharted... nathan drake did more rolls then starfox in my game.)
How about when games tell you that the character is getting tired or exhausted and needs to sleep, except you keep pumping them full of caffeine because you just...need...to...explore...a little...longer? My Fallout 4 protagonist is probably a nuka cola addict thanks to Survival Difficulty.
how about right in the middle of a fight getting them to eat 5 wheels of cheese 4 large health potions 9 raw potatoes and 55 apples then expecting them to be able to finish the fight I think they would just collapse in pain from that.
These Friday Features have always put a smile on my face, it's great to see what made this channel great hasn't changed. I love the Playstation Access team, keep making great videos and keep putting smiles on people's faces.
What about deleting a save & starting a new game or starting NG+? Image going through this huge journey only to have to restart again & again every time like some twisted version of Groundhog Day every time the player decides to play the game from the start again. Or worse they start a NG+ playthrough. Having to fight the same enemies only this time they're much stronger
Running! Jumping! Fighting! No rest, no vacations, no bathing, no eating, all that money and no home, no families or happy endings sometimes. It’s just cruel... (Tidus’s laughter should be considered an offence to all people cabaple of hearing) PS: Rosie is in good shape. 😁
How about doing literally everything except what the protagonist is supposed to be doing, like killing people indiscriminately, or grinding that same boss for that one rare item for hours on end?
Any protagonist I control would complain that they frequently stop whatever they're doing to run in a very small circle. This is because I have a tendency to spin the control sticks whenever I start feeling a bit bored. For instance: if I've been running across a field for a bit, stop and spin. I'm feeling bored in the middle of crafting a bunch of equipment, stop and spin. Talking to all the NPCs after reaching a new town, stop and spin. Looting the corpses after clearing a bandit encampment, you get the idea.
The days and days of adventuring. Going from dungeon to dungeon, dragging tons of loot, running all over the place, and yet not let the protag sleep a single second in a bed. There's beds every where, there are beds in the protag's home, but why sleep when there are bandits and raiders to kill and liberate their precious stolen loot into our pockets. I also wonder how many heroic protags are upset when we have them robbing poor villages blind, destroying their pottery for the vegetables they were storing for a meal they can hardly afford already. But hey I didn't see any name written on the pottery and it wasn't nailed down, so it must be free even though it's in their home we just barged into.
Access’s best work. Rob as Tidus and Rosie as not only crash but also the souls/borne/ring protagonist is award worthy and made me actual lol. A Platinum level Friday feature.
Referring specifically to RPG's who have multi-member Battle Parties etc., sticking your 'strong' Characters at the front to use as Human Shields, whilst you Level-Up weaker Characters. Imagine just STANDING there, taking beatings or Spell Damage, knowing full-well you could swat the Enemy with one hit... but you're not allowed to. I'm doin' this atm. 😂
In the first Tomb Raider game there was a huge tower that you had to descend with a hole in the middle that went all the way down to the floor. I remember falling in and then panic saving half way down, so every time the game reloaded it was to Lara screaming and falling at terminal velocity towards the bottom.
Slight twist, but: Leaving the horse behind, especially when you latter whistle for it in the next town over. How does the horse feel? Left out in the cold, in the middle of nowhere, with monsters prowling around, only to hear you call for it from behind the safety of city walls.
Running in circles to get into battles in turn based RPG's with random battles. As if running in a circle isn't dizzying enough, then you have to fight. Our characters must've thrown up loads of times from running in circles.
Rosie's Crash "Whoa/Wow" and Rob's Tidus laugh/cry did me in! 🤣🤣 Also, I like to think regarding armor choices, the character doesn't mind if the armor isn't ideal for the situation as long as they look "cool" 😎
I know racing games such as Gran Turismo don't have protagonists, but I'd love to know what my cars in such games would say about me. They'd probably decry my sometimes bad driving.
When you leave your character sneaking into a wall on Oblivion/Skyrim to get your sneak level up... Also, I used the exact same boxes and tape to move house with haha
I’m one of those rare players who hardly do any of these things. Though I have done over-encumbrance before, but not if the inventory has a limit. I don’t test the limitations. I pause the game instead of leaving the protagonist to idle. I don’t sprint everywhere. I always make sure my character looks good or else it’ll drive me crazy. I tend to make sure my in game currency purchases count. And I ALWAYS make sure the protagonist is at full health; IT’S COMMON SENSE!! To be honest, the amount of players who do the things you guys mentioned just baffles me. 😅
The first time I experimented with fall physics was the original tomb raider, behind the area u fight trex there's a high ledge above a tiny pool of water. I used to regularly dive lara off that ledge.
Resident Evil, is the one I'm guilty for, ever since the ps1 game, making my characters hop about, getting the game done while they're mostly on low energy. Cause you know I got to keep that green and red herbs combo for later, when I might need it more.
how about when games like JRPGs make you press X for each line of dialogue? Sometimes, I just like to sit there for a few and pretend there is an awkward pause in their conversation
Pretty tough day at work today... got home, showered, fed the cats and I slumped down on the couch. With dinner in hand I turned on this video- 20 seconds in.....LMFAO!!!! THANK YOU ROSIE!!! YOU MADE MY EVENING A QUITE PLEASANT ONE!!
I am guilty of the testing limitations, spending money on things I don't need, dressing in outfits that don't fit the character, leaving my character idle, & over-emcumbering ones
There was a calculation of how much the weapons and ammo weight in GTA 5. So GTA 5 characters have the equivalent of a truck in their pockets. Also, in some heists they put gold on their duffel bags and then run with it, which would imediatly break their backs
Goodness, that part of running everywhere and not riding. In Dragon Age Inquisition I was travelling on foot everywhere for two playthroughs. In the very first playthrough I didn't even realise that I could call a horse or any other creature for riding (aside of that racing quest) and in the second playthrough I had found out about it but I just didn't like it so I only rode one once to get quickly past a dragon and then never again.
RE Character: "Time to use the grenade launcher against that monstrosity!" Me: "Oh... But what if I need it later... Better do this with a pistol." Also Me: **Reaches the ending with 37 grenade spare grenade rounds in my pocket**
In some games, stealing from the same enemy over and over again before we kill and loot them. Spending hours stealing, just to find the rare drop weapon.
I thought of this while playing COD a few days ago. If most people attempted a lot of what video game characters do, even the realistic ones, we'd just be SMOKED. I remember in the 4th/5th day of Basic we were doing IMT and a Drill Sergeant sardonically remarked how much easier it is to control that game character than actually do the stuff 😂😂😂
What gamer habits do you think the player character must hate? Let us know!
I'm genuinely surprised you didn't include how we completely ignore their need for sleep.
Hoarding powerful ammo instead of using it "just in case you need it later"
"Hi, my name's Titus..."
Constantly reloading after shooting 1 bullet
Did anyone else think Mary Poppins pack sounded like a double entendre fnar fnar 🤣
Rob's impersonation of Tidus and the laughing scene was too good 😂😂👏
HA HA HA HA HA HA
Like he has a save right before that cutscene and has repeatedly watched it
😂😂😭😭😭😭😭 cant stop laughing
Spot on! 😂
Just the mere mention of that scene set me off!!
Actually I was expecting him to b*tch about having to do the chocobo race for one million times to get the sun sigil but this is even better!!
The sketches on this channel have always been top-tier. Genuinely phenomenal.
I love the sketches!
Are you high?
@@the204cool No, I'm John.
@@johngingras Hi, John!
I think they've been actually getting better again lately!
I don't know how they not lose it with Rob's take on Tidus' laugh, we need to see the outtakes please.

I’m gonna need to see the bloopers for that opening skit.. Ain’t no way you guys did that first try😂😂 absolutely hilarious!
How about doing literally everything except what the protagonist is supposed to be doing, like killing people indiscriminately, or grinding that same boss for that one rare item for hours on end?
Access skits are back, baby
I’m cackling

Imagine how the character of Braid felt standing there for 2 hours as we wait for a cloud to travel across the level
Number 8: Spending literal hours change outfits
The sketches are always amazing! I love the amount of effort that goes into these videos, you guys are the best

Welp, found my new favorite intro.
How many takes did that intro take? I would have creased straight away with Rosie’s Crash Bandicoot. 😂
Literally spat out my tea when Rob first appeared 😂 That man is glorious
That was easily the best tidus laugh gag I've ever seen. 10/10 would reload again.
Wow! This brings back old school Friday features memories
Running in circles using a elastic band on the controller for kiryu.I need that trophy for 42.195 km.
Another candidate: playing with every emote in the list. DANCE, PROTAGONIST, DANCE!
Great feature, *outstanding* skits. You guys bring me so much joy 😁

Ash is controlling Rosie....must be dream come true

same......but i had to i couldn't beat the boss any other way since i chose to go in underleveled.
Reminds me of how you could make snake throw up by spinning him around in the medical menu in mgs3

Squall: aw x*t here we go again..
Amazing video 😂 Loved it. Miss you guys! Haven't been able to catch any streams lately 😔 Hope you're all OK and happy 🤗
When you leave your character sneaking into a wall on Oblivion/Skyrim to get your sneak level up... Also, I used the exact same boxes and tape to move house with haha
Friday isn't complete without a PS Access Friday Feature!
Oh my😂 That opening was perfect😂😂😂
I didn't know Sonic throws himself off screen after so much idling😨
Link probably hates all the time I spend rolling around at full charge as a Goron in Majora's Mask.
i hope this means that the skits are making a comeback

Lol😂 That intro was hilarious. Absolutely brilliant job guys. Thank you for the amazing content. Lots of love❤
I've thrown the Grand Inquisitor, Geralt, and Aloy off cliffs multiple times.
The first time I experimented with fall physics was the original tomb raider, behind the area u fight trex there's a high ledge above a tiny pool of water. I used to regularly dive lara off that ledge.
At this point I think the Access crew could make their own old school FMV game 😄
There's a Netflix 'In Treatment' style, therapy series in this.
"What They Make Me Do"
1:22 okay that legit made me snort laugh 😂 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Great vid, love it! Also you misspelled Ash' name tag, it is Hoonter!
0:31, Ash was so close to breaking character. Rosie is just awesome!
Rosie has a “comb over” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love to see an Access Movie.
The crying laughter.. snrk. Well played, Rob. These videos are getting better and better.
Resident Evil, is the one I'm guilty for, ever since the ps1 game, making my characters hop about, getting the game done while they're mostly on low energy. Cause you know I got to keep that green and red herbs combo for later, when I might need it more.
Posing for photo mode perhaps when they just want to get on with it? Or depending on the character in question, perving on NPCs.
The creativity in this video is top notch. Rob as Tidus was incredible 🤣🤣
Testing fire/hot objects is too real since I booted up Necromunda for the first time yesterday.
Haha, the Ash/Rosie combo was pretty great. "Yeah! Jump, jump, fight! Games! I love gaming!" "HA!"
I love all the extra effort that went into this one. Well done.
Only a minute in and this is already a stellar video.
You pretty much just described what it's like to be a player character in Wreck-It Ralph In this video's intro (after therapy session) 😂😂😂
Need more of these like the good ol days
8:19 - It's called the Restoration Glitch for Skyrim.
I'm a simple man. I see Geralt, I click. 5th Witcher playthrough of the year.
how about when games like JRPGs make you press X for each line of dialogue? Sometimes, I just like to sit there for a few and pretend there is an awkward pause in their conversation
Jumping up the stairs has to be one, right? Or just jumping everywhere all the time to get from one place to the next.
The opening is so hilarious!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Im guilty of all of them. Especially taking everything in Skyrim. I must fill my pockets.

Rosie really nailed it!!!! 😂😂😂
Awfully strange to not see Rob take the opportunity to dress as Solid Snake
OMG, that opening skit was PURE GOLD 🤣 Quick question .... who cut that wig Rob wore? 😆
I actually left my character in PSO2NGS idle while watching this. HAHAHA
The costume is superb ash, and the tidus laugh rob, perfection 🤣
This video from beginning to end was a treat.

Delsin
i'd LOVE to see bloopers of the first segment please
No a life size Sly Cooper is definitely necessary.
I would add ignoring quick time events to see what happens
09:13 - Really nailed that Disco Elysium Look.
RE Character: "Time to use the grenade launcher against that monstrosity!"
Me: "Oh... But what if I need it later... Better do this with a pistol."

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant Friday feature - love the skits, always the best!
The tea scene is how I imagine Rob manages the peons… I mean his beloved colleagues
