I respect your you're perspective and pride about an awesome Aussie vehicle and company that is moving outside of the country. As an American in Flint, MI, the birthplace of GM, I completely understand!
I got me the 2014 ssv sedan dark grey. Its a wonderful car i do agree about the petrol it does take a bit and she is a thirsty car. But I'm not complaining about it. My last car was a sv6 sports wagon. when i found out that holden will be no more i picked up a vf ssv and i am going to keep it as it will be a classic car in the future. despite what people say hate it or love it, you have to accept that it will be a classic. What a great sleeper car.
Couldnt agree more about everyone buying SUVs and not locally produced cars. I watched your video as I am thinking of buying a Gen-F commodore in the near future, as I also think they are something we should all be very proud of. Great video.
Great video ...... I have the VF too and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! Love your comment about it making you feel a little bit naughty, because you are so right.
Thanks for making this video, love it and lets hope for some locally made car shows ah. I`ve just got me a VZ SS with 39600K`s on it, its just like new, I`m loving it and will be keeping it for a long long time
Nice video good detail this is what i needed, im in the process of buying one right now, just waiting for it to come in to the dealer. The moment i sat inside i was totally sold on the car, an amazing car truly world standard. Im thinking about getting the walkinshaw pack to cure the quiet exhaust note, i need it to sound fun in the 50kms of sydney traffic i will be driving it in daily.
Room for improvement, bits and pieces need optimising like production value (maybe settle for jump cuts for brevity until you get better!), don't give up!
Intelligent review. But being a fan of cars and having travelled a bit I can say that Australians are by and large NOT motoring enthusiasts compared to say UK, Germany or much of Europe. Sure we say we are but the general Aussie knows less and cares less about what they drive than in the UK or Germany and the fact they have several car shows on TV and we don't reflects that. It's the sad truth.
Craig appreciate your enthusiasm. unfortunately i found this hard to understand, try talking a bit slower and pronounce your words. Hope your still enjoying your ss redline.
Holden Cruze hatchbacks are made in Australia aren't they? They have all the same Elizabeth factory signature colours. How did you mount the flag in the last scenes?
Made some good points in there. Not the best video I've seen and I did get confused thinking that I was watching an Aston Martin video top gear UK did a few years back on the same subject V8's being less popular and polar bears.
I stopped watching at the 6:00 mark when he said "Big Block V8s" and that confirmed to me that this guy hasn't got a clue what he's talking about! 364cui is a small block.
This makes me want to do a burnout with two Aussie flags sticking out the car on Straya Day haha. I really want a V8, but the fuel would kill me. The V6 was bad enough
I'm a proud VE Lion owner & the thought of driving ANYTHING else is simply incomprehensible & the day I get pulled over by the police in some japcrap piece of shit,I think I'll break down in tears,I CAN'T HANDLE IT!!! I think the police should buy a few thousand of the last VF's & put them in storage, problem solvered! ;))
"Motoring enthusiast capital of the world" nek minnit, every single modification ever seems to be illegal bullshit. Some constructive criticism: - It seems like you were kind of "force" acting, sort of "stiff", not sure how to word it, but try to make it seem a bit more "flowing"? - Work on the editing, clean up camera work etc. - Being a TH-cam show, don't make it so long until you actually gain more popularity, people don't want to spend 20+ minutes watching a video unless they know it's proper quality - Try get more humor in there if you want to be like TG, but then again, that's one of the most difficult things to do. - If you are driving and looking at the road and not at the camera, thats fine, but if you look away at random things and not the camera, that really puts people off, but that could be me just being picky - Use a soundtrack throughout to make it more interesting at the least! I'd love a Aussie Car show beside MCM (they know what they are doing, should really be on TV), it's cool you're trying to do something, but you gotta work on it :) Good luck.

Great video, found it useful as I am waiting for my 2015 Redline ute with the w310 up grade to be delivered. Can't wait to take it for a run.
I'm waiting on my car being ready for pickup on Friday! Loved your video! Well done... am re-inspired after such a lengthy wait for the car to arrive!

Stopped watching as soon as I saw that you has the flag touching the ground... not good mate.
It was the Government, who refused to continue subsidizing the industry, even though most other countries do so...

Annoying dude, yet still informative. I'd probably buy him a few beers but still hang endless amounts of shit on him.
this was the worst thing i have ever seen.
Boring, don’t give up your day job
