I may have figured it out because i thought I was being trolled.. It seems that he wont buy them if they are below a certain percentage. I don't know what that is; i know he won't buy a 0%, but I was able to sell him a 26% gun
Honestly they need to make it where you can turn fully broken guns into parts and then be able to repair guns for parts... I just raised a base and collected about 12 broken guns, AR-15s and other high end guns... But it would cost more to fix them than they are worth, so they can't be sold and aren't reliable to use... So i just drop them on the ground to eventually despawn, and this sadly happens all the time. Enter an area, loot everything then drop a mountain of guns on the ground. Worst part? My armor took damage in the fight and now costs 12k to fix, my gun was used so that's another 8k, so to go clear out a bandit camp it cost me 20k in repairs... Almost every gun in the Area was broken and most of the loot was bread, sausage and booze.... So after killing 20 enemies... I gained... A repair bill and that's about it. -$12k
Oh buddy it's coming in mod for sure. The devs will make their vanilla game as broad for the average gamer, they may implement a simple repair kit or something eventually, but if you want something like that just give it about a year or two and grok the modder who put together stalker gamma will make this game a roleplayers dream
Weapons in stalker are so weird. Seems they're made of sugar, they break down so fast. There was a mod for stalker:cop that allowed converting damaged weapons into weapons parts that could be used for paid upgrades of other weapons
This sounds perfect, I have dropped probably 50+ broken guns on the ground because they are worthless and then have to pay tens of thousands to repair the gear I do use, would make so much sense that I'd be able to scavenge parts that still worked from the broken gun and with enough repair a gun with them. It would give all those broke pistols and aks a purpose
rostok isn't a "new area" as it wasn't just introduced, its been in the game and been in other titles too and other stalker like games, so for those other stalker like games to have places like rostok and 100 rads bar etc you'd think they would of gotten them from somewhere, not new homie
Ragman the GOAT 🔥:
Apparently there’s a different trader outside near a shack in that same area that pays 50% more for items. Idk if they take broken weapons too though
location?
Where is he?
after patch, he doesn't buy broken weapon

Full broken gear (0%) are not able to sell, thus drop it instead.
i still haven't made my mind up. should i sell the unknown stalker's AR?
Its an unique weapon so maybe keep it
@@wingofmessiah4134it's one of the only unique ar15s id keep it, also ar15s become pretty common later on so save the rare version
i found him but he wont buy broken weapons from me
He will buy red condition weapons, but not if they are completely broken.
That’s why Eugene didn’t want me to visit Ragman!!!
PS: Ragman actually has awful prices :/
not working anymore ...
thanks to a fix from modding community all of vendors in my game BUY those.
cheesy
He pays pennies so not worth the slow overloaded crawl imo.
✌✌
I like this new update
