First of all, it is not a minor detail because in this exercise the lines can’t touch at any point. If they’re touching at EVERY point that’s presumably worse. Second, the way that you’re conceiving of it, 1-1 and 3-3 aren’t connected by “a line”. They’re connected by multiple lines. Wherever there’s an angle, you’ve formed a new line. This isn’t the layman’s definition of a line we’re dealing with here. It’s the mathematical definition of a line (a series of connected points in a single dimension).
that is correct the only can't do was you can't cross the lines. She didn't say you can't draw lines through boxes e.g. connect the 1's by drawing a line to and thru 3. She also didn't say you cannot take a line up out of the large square and circle around to connect the like number. Oh no.
If you can cross the purple line but she says that only the same number can meet the other, so it is impossible unless the purple lines within the inner walls is not ment to be ignored.
Just draw a circle starting from the first box with number 3 then going to all the boxes then connect the two remaining box with number 2. Thats it plain and simple
Make a circle around both 2s and from the circle 4 lines extending out to both 1s and both 3s. Then a direct line between the 2s. No lines are crossing over but only converging.
BEST ANSWER: 3 is already connected to 3 through the two sides of the box. And 1 is also already connected to 1 through the two sides of the box. To finish all you have to do is simple, connect 2 to 2 with a line! Only a true genius can see the simplicity of the solution. Genius means providing the SIMPLEST solution to an apparent difficult problem or situation! QED
The only solution is to think outside of the box here. Either you literally draw the line outside of the box, or you can draw a bridge that goes over 1 line.
She’s clever! Given she connect 2 to 2, draw line from 1 go anywhere to connect 1. Then clip the whole square with scissor and fold diagonally 3 to 3. 👍 you connect the last number 🤘

There is no solution for this. This is exactly what one give another just to tell him/her that he/she has no brain. While the teachers him/herself cannot do
@@salbahejim Technically 2 and 3 are already connected by lines that do not cross (the box itself) all you need to do is draw a line between the 2's (this is also why I get many answers wrong on tricky tests).
Simply Re-draw a line on the border line on the top side of the number starting from 1 connecting to 3 on the right side from the same border and then move downwards in the bottom side of 1 on the right side. This will clear your number 1 line and then rest 2 and 3 can be taken accordingly.
She said that you cannot cross the lines but she did not say that you can't go outside the box get it think outside the box it's a metaphor!! And no I don't have a high IQ I've just seen this before LOL
Is the answer to draw all lines from each box to the mid Center of the box thus all lines are not crossing but merging into the Center which means they connect to each box?
Connect 2 and 2 then draw an oblong around them, then connect 1s and 3s to the oblong. Eureka, you can traverse around the oblong without crossing lines.
Make run-about (a circle) between 1 and 1 then connect the 3 both sides of the circle! You didn’t cross anything; you just circled and exited like a vehicle in a run-about!
After connecting 2 and 2 and 1 and 1 or 3 and 3, build a bridge over the connected numbers. Or just go around the outside corners if the bridge takes too long to build.

Go through box #1 and connect

I just put a line between the boxes marked "2". 1 and 3 are already connected. That they're connected by the same line, is just a minor detail.
