@@jellolynne6694 They no longer offer a bonus for the credit card. But they still offer a bonus for their checking/savings: bit.ly/4dxGtzZ or their active investing: bit.ly/4c8Cr09
Do you prefer the Sofi over the Wells Fargo Active Cash? Also, have you tried the Fidelity credit card yet?
I feel like both Sofi and WF Active Cash are pretty similar. I personally would use whichever one I already have an account with. I haven't tried the Fidelity card. Have you?
@@BrittanyFlammer No, I haven't tried Fidelity yet. I do have accounts with Fidelity and Sofi, but % 99 percent of money is with Fidelity. I'm trying to find a catch all 2% percent card. I'm on the Robinhood Credit card waitlist but who knows when that will be available to me. So for now, I'm trying to decide between Fidelity, Sofi, Wells Fargo and Citi Double Cash credit cards. They all seem to have their pro's and cons.
Do I need to have SoFi checking/savings account for this card? If not, can I redeem the entire cash back amount on my credit card balance?
That is a good question. I'm not 100% sure since I already had a checking/savings account before opening the credit card. BUT according to their website they say you don't have to have a checking/savings account. This is the info they need:
-Name
- Income
- Home address
- Date of birth
- Citizenship status
- Valid Social security number
- Phone number
- Email address
So you should be able to redeem the entire cash back balance on your credit card. But, I'm not 100% sure.
@@BrittanyFlammer thank you for that info. Have you redeemed the cashback as a statement credit? If so, does it show up as full value? Some credit cards like AMEX only give you 0.6 times points when used as a statement credit.
@@thesaurness2616 You get the full amount wether you redeem it as cash, statement credit, or invest it.
@@BrittanyFlammer thank you for that. Looks like my next card!
@@thesaurness2616 If you end up using it let me know how you like it!
Well done, thank you.
Thanks! I hope it was helpful!!
