My parents first language and I found it very difficult in school .... It was nothing like the NYC- Italian I spoke with my friends. I think we made up many of the words we spoke lol. Found German easier though others have disagreed. Enjoyed listening to you speak ... stick with it

@@mauriziomartelli2163 Noi lo studiamo per ben più di 8 anni (dalla prima elementare alla quinta superiore son circa 13 anni), lo parliamo tutti i giorni, tutto il giorno eppure parecchi italiani fanno strafalcioni assurdi, usando "se io avrei" come se niente fosse... Io stesso ho studiato inglese per 10 anni (dalla terza elementare in poi) e non credo di riuscire a riscrivere la frase di Joseph in Inglese in modo corretto xD

Every time you made a mistake, immediately realized it and corrected it, I couldn't help but exclaim "bravissima!" :)
Minor corrections: "noi moriamo" (w/o "u"); #4: "muoio dal ridere" (used waaaay more than "dalle risate"); the translation of #7's "sento passi dietro di me" is "I hear steps behind me".
I've always loved hearing foreign people's Italian. You have a great pronunciation. This language is very hard to Italians either! keep on the great work

Italian is a beautiful language I tried to study it for a few months years back then I shifted to Spanish I found it much easier and closer to my mother tongue (Arabic).
I understand where you're coming from when trying to know the exact phrases as such. Good on you for doing your best and it is hard for those that are learning a second language. Your a smart woman and you will know it once you understand the written words. You will get the gist of it.

italian is definitely not a mix of german and spanish. it's similar to spanish bc they are two latin languages, but german it's totally another monster

Wow I wouldn't have thought this video would be so relaxing! (I hope I used the right verbs forms hahah) Italian could be a very hard one to learn, but so it's English if you want to speak it in a more articolate and fluent way and you're not a native speaker. Moreover, accept my genuine compliments for your commitment in learning my language and for all of the tingles, of course :)

My parents are immigrants from Italy and they both speak the Italian language fluently, I was taught how to speak it at a young age alongside English. I only really speak Italian at home since I attend an English speaking school and all of my colleagues speak English. While I haven’t lost the language entirely, I am certainly more fluent in English. I’m attempting to work on it more though because I am determined to stay completely fluent in both languages!

If you find it difficult to learn Italian, I recommend trying to use the method of German trainer VERA F. BIRKENBIHL, who has dedicated her life to the development of learning methods, which are showing, that learning (including languages) doesn't have to be hard and complicated.

Your pronounciation sounds a lot less awkward than my dentist’s, who’s been living and working in italy for the last 15 years, granted he’s fluent in actual conversation.
When i was learning german and english i cared a lot less about the sounds and a lot more about proper phrasing and vacabulary. When speaking/thinking in your 2nd/3rd language comes natural you can start focusing on faking accents, that way you don’t overload your brain and avoid ending up making a big mess lol.

Solo una piccola correzione sui pronomi: He, She = Egli, Ella - Him, Her = (a) Lui (___gli), (a) Lei (___le)
Queste sono le forme grammaticalmente corrette ma, nel linguaggio parlato, spesso si usa Lui/Lei anche come soggetto. ;-)

Am I the only one Italian that watching this video is asking herself (/himself) why does Italian seems so difficult to the foreigners?😂 Anyway, this is the first video that I've watched of your channel and it was very relaxing and funny, thanks to the different accents (that is normal for who speak English because in your language there aren't some our sounds -for example "gn"- and also we don't have some of yours - such as the "th" sound in "bath") ♥️♥️
Anyway we also say "muoio di risate" even though it is plural, we don't care a lot in the common speaks hahahahaha
