Never normally comment on videos but think this is worth doing- THANK YOU so much for giving such a positive review of vegan alternatives :) I've been vegan a few years and the options have massively increased. I think people will consider trying things like this more coming from you (being non-vegan, and with your following)- so I think that's amazing! I agree the alternatives are expensive, but I only buy 1-2 a week, and spend about £15 a week on my shopping (just for myself) so the cost balances out with buying fruit, veg, beans/ lentils etc! Also agree about the cheese, I don't like many of them. Would you ever consider having a veggie or vegan day a week? Thanks again- we need more of you!!

If people knew the reality behind the meat & dairy industries hardly anyone would still choose to consume the products. If anyone's interested watch "Land of hope & glory" on TH-cam. It shows uk standard practice in the industry. Also if you want something quick to watch try "dairy is scary" (also on yt) it's only 5 mins long.
Rebecca kent It’s all supply & demand, the less of a demand for animal flesh; the less animals they’ll forcibly breed into existence. They’re not going to continue breeding animals at the rate they are if there’s less of a demand- it’s all about money & they would lose money doing that.
Zoe O'Brien they already kill far more animals than get consumed! Millions of people will continue to eat meat the demand will not be massively affected.

Oh Mark! So the vegan section is generally a "Free-From' section, which is why you managed to get your hands on so many non-vegan items! (The section includes gluten free, diary free etc so it's not 100% vegan most of the time - although in saying that, most designated vegan sections are right next to the free-from sections.. just to confuse you even more!) So glad you enjoyed the vegan/veggie food and hope you continue to try more each time you do a shop! :) x

Vegan food in Iceland or even farm foods and Aldi is so cheap and delicious! Farmfoods do these vegan chicken poppers and stuff and so good! Aldi have new chicken burgers too which are so good!
I really want to try some of these and I’m an avid meat eater! Have always thought about incorporating veggie/vegan options in my diet but never been convinced really until now!! Thanks for doing this video Mark- I really value your opinion and trust it 😊👏🏻❤️

When people say they’ve never eaten vegan food before 😂 what’s fruit, veg, bread, rice, pasta, nuts, cereals etc etc then?!?! Haha plus there’s sooo many different alternatives now these days, loved this vid tho mark and that you were showing that there’s all sorts of delicioussssss vegan things!
I think what he means is food that's branded as vegan because we already know so many foods are secretly vegan (or we might not know) and he wants to try vegan staples and actual vegan substitutes, not just your everyday weetabix, fruit, pasta, nuts, veg etc more like things we'd eat but made vegan, so like 'cheeze'' 'mylk', sausages (like he's tried), bacon (like he's tried), just branded stuff that says 'plant based' 'vegan' on the packet, not just going to the shop, getting Oreos and fruit and going 'eating vegan food' if this makes sense? Like of course he knows fruit, nuts, seeds, some cereals, rice, bread and pasta can be vegan and to be fair, he probably eats lots of that stuff everyday anyway and knows or doesn't know it's already vegan. But vegan food and actual substitutes and vegan food is getting so popular now, there's so much to try and a lot tastes like the real thing, a lot don't. I hope I make sense here??

Not everything in the veggie section is vegan. And in the free from section a lot of stuff that says "milk free" might still have eggs in, etc.
