    I’m glad I ran across this great video, I have the exact same light kit, and I’m waiting to install it when my 48 volt lithium battery comes in..

    Do you know what the 3 wires to brake lights are

    A question on the video...At one point you say the Red and Blue are for the horn and then later you say the Purple and Black are for the horn (this is correct). My question is that the drawing that came with the kit shows the Red and Blue to be for the "Lamp Switch". Are the Red and Blue necessary? Seems to me these are not used as the control switch is on the steering column. I had to move to a different LED light because the cutouts in my front cowl are too large for the lights now, the new lights don't work. Any help would be much appreciated.

      The red and blue were not used on mine. If I made a mistake at the beginning sorry… But there are two wires in the kit that don’t get used.

    Nice detailed, easy to follow demo. Thanks. My kit & instruction have Red P4 & Blue P5 wires for "Lamp Switch" The instructions are vague. I will fire this up today. I'm thinking that I may keep the old toggle on my dash or use the use the stalk plunger switch, seems redundant. 🤥

    Question: How long did the total installation take you to do? Great video! Thanks

      I’d say the whole process takes about an hour. Maybe slightly more if it’s your first time. Thanks for watching!

    Great video! What is the coating on your cart?

    • @LukesJohnDeereGarage

      It is actually a truck bed liner. A tintable version sold by TCP products online. You spray it on yourself out of the included bottle. Great stuff!

    Are these kits available for the Yamaha G19 are would you like to do a video on how to install one on a Yamaha?

      They do have some nice kits. The question would be whether or not it would fit in your existing cutouts!

    The plastic housing around the column is very thin, i used an exacto knife and worked np, just a fyi for anyone not wanting to use a plasma cutter or grinder.....

    Will it fit a cart that already has headlights?

    • @LukesJohnDeereGarage
      @LukesJohnDeereGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes definitely. If they are smaller headlights, you will have to enlarge the holes. If they are large factory headlights, they will fit over the holes. Sometimes you might only be able to get three of the four screws in but they will work. Thanks for watching.

    What type of paint/coating is that?

    • @LukesJohnDeereGarage
      @LukesJohnDeereGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a spray on truck bed liner- I’ve done it on multiple carts now and really like it. It’s available on Amazon but I usually get it from the TCP website. They have it in all different colors.

    Id definitely use butt connectors that have heat wrap on them. Help prevent moisture getting in and corrosion happening......also watch for any pinching locations so no wires get pinched. Probably also want to disconnect battery b4 installing anything so you dont cause a short or anything. If you get a bigger 36/48v to 12v connector, add a fuse box, and you can add neons or whatever.

      The colors are different on each kit, but some of the wires are not used.
