They premiered this on their 2019 tour. It came as a surprise because it wasn't on an album, and they had previously been doing "Onset" as their instrumental break. For the first few seconds I was disappointed we weren't getting "Onset" but then they just blew us away. You are right, they all shine, and when they aren't in the spotlight they don't slack off.
Weird thing is: it's a joy to listen to most Kanami-written songs just as instrumentals, and I frequently do. In fact, it took me hearing the instrumental versions of some songs off their latest album for me to really fall in love. Given that Saiki is my fav female rock singer (esp coupled with Miku), it tells me how much effort the band puts into their sound. Most Band-Maid music btw has been released in instrumental form.
Thank you Sixx for your reaction to this song that I love. I'm surprised this video hasn't been deleted yet, but I'm glad you could reaction. Don't be long, this is also an instrumental song, and YT only has the fan cam video, but in "Band Made in Dallas song Don't be long" you can see a rare scene of Kanami is enlivening the audience with her strong tone of voice. Please check it out.
Sometimes it's hard for me to believe they exist. They are very good! A couple of days ago I was dreaming of a big festival, just with all female bands. I don't think we've ever had so many good all female bands like nowdays.
I just learned that word a couple of hours ago. I put a note on my desk for reference when I need it until I learn it good enough to say it without my note. Subarashii was the word I was trying to remember. I learn both words so I don’t have to say the same one all the time. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate all the help I can get. I really want to learn well enough to say what I want to say in my videos and to have a short polite conversation.
Love instrumental songs, especially from Band-Maid! I have several instrumental songs from Band-Maid on DVD and the latest release that has the entire Unseen World, instrumental only, and all of them are killer! I love Saiki and Miku when they sing, but these ladies are wizards on the instruments!
I recommend checking out the acoustic instrumental version of "Without Holding Back" if you haven't already which blew my mind. It's easy to find as they are all playing to a white background. The double bass Akane is doing on this is just insane. Band-Maid are really on a different level with this one. 🤘🔥🎸
I've been playing music for years- not to any high standard mind you, but you get to know what's going on. But when I see and hear something like this I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not Daydreaming. The bass and guitar work- phew!. Just out of this world and Into an Unseen World. Accidental joke, but true.
My god man, they are freakin’ amazing. I’ve heard the studio version but to see them pull it off live - damn!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼
🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘

I wish I could have been there! That's just one of the things that makes them so great, they all carry their load the whole time.
@@SixxDaze I hope you are making it to one of their shows in October. (or more!)

When MISA slaps the bass an earthquake occurs on the other side of the world. It's called the Barefoot Assassin effect :)

This causes frequent large earthquakes in Japan.😭
@@cats-eyes Yeah that's frightening. It's one thing i'm glad of living on the tiny boring island of UK is that terrible natural disasters are rare.🤞

I don't think we've ever had so many good bands, regardless if they're boy or girl bands.
If they do Naon no Yaon next year, buy a ticket to go to Japan for that. A full day of all-female bands.
Don't worry, your Japanese opening speech is getting better👍
Without Holding Back is my #1 fav instrumental song. Thanks, Bob!
Thank you. Someone gave me some tips this morning. Hopefully I will improve more. I really enjoyed it. They all shined during it.
I think chances are good that you WILL see them play this live in October.
I have my tickets already. So, unless they cancel, I think my chances are really good. 😂
They never hold back...luckily for us!
It is great!
Perhaps you wanted to say “sugoi!”
Means awesome😁

Great reaction!! Band-Maid and BABYMETAL are in a league of their own and is the best that has happened to metal/rock in decades!!
There are so many Japanese bands that are so far above other bands that it blows my mind and fills my heart with joy for music again.

I understand.
What's the Japanese word for "Eargasm"? 🤯Another day, another Band-Maid masterpiece. These ladies SPOIL us! Thanks Bob! 🕊
They really do! Thank you!
A similar phrase is "Mimi Ga Si-a-wa=se" (Ears so happy).
I'll be in Dallas, too! Come on October!
If you see me there, say Hey!
