Knarr apparently means a viking transport ship. Not the long ships people usually talk about, but more-so merchant ships. I've heard this has taken the place of Splendor for a lot of people. My wife loves gems, crystals etc, so I'm particular with what I buy to try to get her excited. I would love the theme in this game + how it's a bit more complex and varied, but I keep going back to Splendor Duel because I think that's what she'll enjoy more based off the theme. Still. This looks great.
Thank you for your review. I am lucky to live in Europe, and the copies of Knarr are making their way to (online) game stores here, so I ordered the game today and I am eagerly awaiting it!
I am intrigued. I like those simple to learn, hard to master games. And again, great presentation (I like the thud sound when cards are played).
It’s a good one. It may be a bit till it hits the US so BGA is my only option for now.

Pandasaurus had a cryptic tweet like they might be picking it up in the us. Still available on boardgame bliss out if Canada for pre order!
Great explanation! I just received this game and can't wait to play. Yeah I didn't test it on BGA first, I just ordered it.....
Well you got lucky. It is awesome.
@@Neon_Gorilla I did get lucky! I just played it and really enjoyed it.
@@lisahasegawa2674 awesome. Where are you located? I haven’t been able to see when this comes to the states.
@@Neon_Gorilla I'm in the states - I ordered from Philibert with a ton of extra salt for Sea Salt & Paper. They are SUPER QUICK with orders!
Ah yeah I thought about that was waiting to see if it got picked up in the states. Maybe I should pull the trigger.
Just saw it on bga yesterday and had no clue what I am doing but after stumbling through a few rounds I started to catch on
Same here. I didn’t fully grasp it after the tutorial.

I’m jealous! I have been considering paying the extra shipping. Have fun!
