Beautiful playing at the beginning. Really nice collection, and the Ibanez Roadster would be early 80s I agree. Great description of your basses. My brother had a Satellite short scale bass in the early 80’s. It was a terrible sounding thing. It had been strung with flat wounds which made the E strung sound super thuddy. I am not sure what he did with it in the end.
Oh wow, I bet the flat wounds didn’t do it any favours either, haha!

You're on the way to becoming the Dave Simpson of bass! Admittedly with better hair.
Well that is a huge compliment, thank you! :) (although no one can beat Dave’s head wings haha!!)
@@CiciVonStrangelove It's true Dave's hair is perfect in its own way :-)
No semi hollows?
Your house looks a lot like Daves 👍
Dang👍.
look out for the old 80/90s made in japan levinson blade basses used, the old japanese ones were mostly hand made, and have fender shaped headstock, current blades are made in china/korea with different headstock, and are more like production line guitars, but the old japan made ones are great, this guy reviews a lot of made in japan basses th-cam.com/video/bN7xwGaJlHY/w-d-xo.html
