Actually America isn't better than this because if America was better than this, this problem wouldn't exist. To be able to fix this problem you first have to admit that America is broken and you have to realise that the problem is only going to get worse without counter measures being taken.

This may be a good thing. Since before 2015 until recently I think it was closer to 90% believed whatever he said no matter how nuts it was. His numbers are dwindling within his own base. Most will still vote for him because they don’t care what he lies about but some (more than 4 years ago) might just have had enough and won’t bother voting for him again. He is becoming less worthy of their time and energy to defend it all.
