This is my first time coming across your videos and it was really good. Im looking forward to the next ones. Just a couple of recommendations and tips to possibly help you guys. 1. I would reccomend hacking in rare candies so you dont have to grind. Just implement a level cap of the next gym leader so you cant over level. Just makes it easier and less cuts 2. I would watch Dads Bein Dudes and see how they communicate with each other, talk about life, and ask their viewers questions to leave in the comments so there is more engagement. This would help the viewers get to know you better and build relationships Just some tips to help you grow as a channel. I think you guys are good and deserve more views and subscribers
Hey there! Thanks for checking out the video! So glad to hear you enjoyed it!! I think that hacking in rare candies is definitely a good idea - admittedly, we have recorded a few episodes ahead of time so I think we'll see our way through Gen I without, but from Gen II onwards (if we survive that long) that's a great idea! 2. Will definitely check them out! I think the idea of personal questions in conversation could for sure be worked in! Thanks for the kind words and checking out the channel 🙏
Hey came across you guy’s video the other day and have been thinking of doing some similar content have any tips you would give? Keep up the good work guys!
Be yourself! @Trottskee does it and it's key! If you're unapologetically yourself then you have nothing to lose! I'd keep track in a list the linked pairs and so on
I appreciate this comment! It's a blast getting to play some pokemon with one of your best friends! Can't wait for you guys to see more of this series!
Only Locking out 12 max total Pokemon at the end of each generation doesn't seem overly impactful season to season. Would you open to changing the rules while it is still early days so that any caught and linked pairs that dies get locked out. This would make deaths extra impactful and be more of a present feature in terms of a gimmick. If you wished to still retain a hall of fame gimmick you could have viewers vote on which remaining pair from the champion beating team get marked as Legacy Starters for your next game and instead carry the living duo over but starting at its base stage and at lvl 5. If this seems to difficult that is fair and also is not suited for you guys in case you record in bulk or just dont like the idea, that is also fair. I just thought id share the suggestion.
Hey! Thanks for checking out the video and dropping a comment! So essentially, the way it would work is 12 pokemon will be locked out for Gen 2, 24 for Gen 3, 36 for Gen 4 and so on! I think the idea of locking out dead pokemon is definitely something that could be done - It's a really cool idea - We do tend to record a little earlier so have a few episodes lined up with the format we have but It's definitely an interesting concept 🤔 Might need to speak to @trottskee and see what he thinks too
Hey! thanks for the comment! - I think they are referred to as the 'Legendary Dog Trio' because of the lore in the silver&gold games. But you are right - Entei is a Lion for sure, Raikou is a tiger and Suicune is a Cheetah I guess (Kinda - the legs look like it!) 😄
No drama, I'm trying to learn a backlog of Pokemon knowledge that I missed in the last 10 to 15 years. The gaps that tapping away on a Gameboy classic didn't soak in trying to stay one step ahead of my kids now so I don't get caught with questions I can't answer trying not to give easy victories. Best of luck in your current challenge To quote zordon "may the power protect you"
@ ofc! Thank you so much for the comment! Pokémon has definitely changed and evolved. Love the zordon quite! Your kids are definitely probably better than us 😂😂
good luck lads!!
Cheers Luke! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Thank you! Me and Max are geared up ready to conquer Kanto!
Entei, the movie was also awsome!
Trueeee, Besides Charizard though right?

@@PaddyMax I do love this idea 🤔The real question is.... Are we good enough?

@@aaronwightley9752 I agree, we refer to them as the Legendary dogs, as how the media does. But I always thought Raikou and Entei look similar to cats
