I remember I used lfg to farm gms a few seasons back and I paired with a dude that went head first in the champions and all other ads faces with a shotgun, specially Fourth horseman putting in work with it too lol. He steamroll through the GM’s, so all that I’m saying is that I wouldn’t write of the potential of certain shotguns.
@@damionh7218 it works if you play well but it depends on the gm, the enemy spawns, the mods that season etc. And then if I whip out s shotty for a champion more likely than not that damage buff will just get stowed again cause I'm not wasting my champ weapon mowing down red bars with it. So something like vorpal or trench barrel would be more useful

Got it crafted from three runs and a couple of harmonic thingies. Went with repulsor brace + destabilising rounds for my verity’s voidlock.
especially when your getting volatile rounds every couple seconds it is beautiful (I use a contraverse build so constant grenades which perk my volatile rounds)
It really annoys me that it's a 180, the last time we had a 120hc from a raid was Wrath of the Machine :/

Because they absolutely suck in PvE lol 120s are for crucible. Raid loot shoot be good in PvE and Trials / IB should be good in PvP. It’s annoying when it’s the other way around.
We just got a void 140 and then a void 120 there is literally no point to have a new one yet
Mine dropped with chambered compensator, accurized rounds, repulsors brace, and destabilizing rounds. So good with my void warlock build. Thanks for the video

With so many options, its really hard to just craft one but i don't think I'll be crafting multiple. Thanks for covering all the possibilities.

Word of Crota, probably.
I like the cursed thrall origin trait. Cause it's hella strong but not in a way that will cause the meta to shift. Since the meta is defined by the endgame, and melee kills aren't something that's hella easy to achieve in higher end content. It's gonna be very strong for general play, but so is every other weapon in general play.
I personally intend on getting a roll that's Demo + Precision Instrument because it makes it a better option than the IKELOS_HC when paired with Lucky Pants specifically, especially because the newer version of Ikelos lost Vorpal weapon and I find it difficult to work with the other damage perks outside maybe focused fury within the damage window of Lucky Pants anyway, so Word of Crota is looking to be the newest replacement for that slot :)

Demo destabilizing rounds is probably gonna be my craft. Explosions everywhere especially with echo of instability
Watching those cursed thrall explosions is so satisfying I hope I can do the raid soon sometime but my team ia all over the place recently. My onmy hope from bungie is that they don't nerf the explosion and make it entirely useless.

Dragonfly + Destabilizing + Cursed Thrall, ALL THE EXPLOSIONS
I've been having a fun time with Abyss Defiant with a radiant hunter build and Sword Logic. Managed to also get subsistence and I have to say it's slowly becoming my new favorite auto rifle which is insane because I typically don't like slow firerate weapons, especially ARs.
But man the accuracy and the perk rolls I got just made this so much fun. I know it's craftable and I'll try to go for it but even if I never do I'm perfectly content with this roll. It's just stupid amounts of free damage.
The only thing I wonder with the origin perk is if there are any synergies to it with subclasses. Just like how the Mothkeepers wraps moths synergize with grenade perks like Golden Tricorn (regardless of you being on arc or not) and some subclass aspects, I wonder how this one works.
Supposedly the explosion can proc volatile with Destabilizing Rounds, which makes me assume Incandescent might also work with it. So that begs the question of if it works with aspects/fragments.
I crafted the auto with heal clip and incandescent. It's so much fun and helps survivability with cure on any class, not just solar.

I put repulsor destabilize just because i dont need void subclass to get overshield. The cooldown isnt that bad

Love my repulsor brace/adrenaline junkie roll on my void gyrfalcons hunter. Especially after the big handcannon buff
Been really really enjoying this hand cannon. Got a roll with enlightened action/destabilizing rounds.
Sword logic makes it go like a 140 in pvp (damage wise) u can beam people with it.
But im only missing one red border and I will be going for repulsor brace

I seriously want to know how you continue to load into strikes solo. I used to use a solo fireteam script but haven't been able to use it since Battle Eye was implemented. Is there still a way to get in solo? doing bounties sucks because everyone is speedrunning regular strikes.
Not only did they change this to a 180, they also completely changed the way the gun looks from D1. This is probably the most inaccurate reprisal of a D1 weapon in D2, visually alone.
What did they change (besides rpm)? Looks the same to me at first glance

I didn't play D1 but I got this to drop yesterday and it feels nice, it slaps (like all hand cannons after the changes) and it looks great. Unsure why people are complaining.
definitely going for repulsor brace and destabilizing rounds, sword logic seems fun but I'm going to just keep that to the machine gun. Because I will have void weapon damage x2 from orbs and shouldn't need sword logic on my hand cannon and I will have volatile rounds active most of the time.
Repulsor / Destabilizing or Dragonfly / Destabilizing are the two combinations I gonna try.
This is what weapons should be multiple options instead of one clear cut option

Maybe try it first before judging, all hand cannons slap after the changes and this thing just feels nice af + rolls with great perks. There's really not much to "sell" unless you inherently don't like to use hand cannons for PVE.

Homie is running lost sector while telling me a 180 is “the best primary.” M8, you need a freaking wake-up call. I don’t care that it destabilizing rounds, le funny cursed thrall explosion, and sword logic (you’re *actually* telling me you’re going to pull-out your 180 hand cannon to kill a GM boss?). What other alternative can you use that’d be better than using a damn 180? Midroar is probably not going to read any of these, but, if they do, they need to understand no one in their mom is struggling to complete base lost-sectors or strikes.

As a 180rpm enjoyer it makes me happy to see another handcannon give Posterity a run for it money. I still believe Posterity is better, the stats alone is just bonkers, but this one has some really cool perk combos I look forward to grabbing my own

@@chedsd2clips465 I do not dislike 180 in general but few have the needed range to produce the TTK you mentioned in normal conditions (enemy density/strength and also PVP). I keep 3 Survivor's Epitaph because they kind of break that stigma (the rolls I have kept). The SEVENTH SERAPH OFFICER REVOLVER for example has a great feel and average performance, all limited by the range. I probably will not get the Word of Crota since I do not have much time to play as I did years ago. I hope it will break the 180 stigma/flaws I mentioned.

Honestly destabilizing is wasted w that setup, you’re gonna have volatile up on every round anyway, better to pair it w a damage perk

destable, and repulserbrace is my one and only roll i got with all range perks and a reload master work... i know you might not like it, but constantly getting an overshield is just too damn useful.

I got 2 red borders of this thing (only weapon I got; only got armor from encounters and got this from the red chest) so that’ll be a quick craft from me.
This should've been a 140 or a 150 like the original . That would've been so unique now. It's still a good gun I have couple great rolls .I still want repulsor and destabilizing rounds. Get the buffs from volatile and void surges . But like you said I'd craft the same rolls .

I’ll be honest. This makes me regret beating contest mode for necrochasm. the cursed thrall perk is on all Crota weapons and that REALLY takes the wind out of necrochasms sails. And part of activating it’s exotic perk requires a kill with the explosion and auto reloads your weapon so what use is it’s catalyst being outlaw? Could have at Least made all kills activate it’s exotic perk and give cursed thrall explosion the chain reaction perk for necrochasm
For real it’s just a trash version of the raid perk on a very unstable and wild weapon it’s so bad tbh.

@@TheHondo thing is, Forbearance lacks damage output, so suffers in content filled with tanky combatants. This thing is a primary, so it’s able to actually put out solid dps on a target, especially majors and mini bosses.
@@hjw2029 If they're tanky enough to survive forbearance hits, then they are tanky enough that dragonfly is just going to tickle them. That's why dragonfly isn't popular in GMs. Not sure how the damage from cursed thrall explosion compares but it's probably similar. Sure, it's good in basic strikes. But so many other things can do just as well. And I'm not sure how well this will perform in harder content (probably why ehroar only included clips from easy content). Disregarding lucky pants since lucky pants makes any hand cannon amazing.
Destabilizing is just kind of shitty right now. Three problems:
1. Cooldown timer is too long.
2. Radius of effect is too small.
3. Unlike volatile rounds, destabilizing rounds will only proc once on an enemy. It doesn't do very much damage.

I got one with Demo + Precision Instrument (escalating damage on precision hits), it absolutely MELTS majors.
That goes for every hand cannon now though, 70% buff this season isn't to be ignored
