    Its hard to hear what youre saying with the music playing over your speaking

    Congrats on the Pro 1000 - I use it every day at my print shop. Sheets on the pro 1000 is way easier than on the 2000 and above. When using roll you have to deal with de-curling the paper also so for many jobs the 1000 is better.
    Note: you can use roll paper up to 17” x47” with the pro 1000 if you cut it and de-curl it first. If you don’t de-curl it enough it can jam though so be careful 😀

    Thank you so much for making this video. I really appreciate the advice. I know others mentioned the music playing while you are talking, and with all gentleness, I would suggest not playing music while you talk. Your voice is soft and the music made it difficult to understand what you are saying. So if you are making more videos, keep that in mind. But the most important comment that I have for you, is Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Keep creating! 🎨

    I just bought one...waiting on it to arrive...never had my artwork printed ever...and i came across this, had money, invested and so I’m very excited to see what i come up with. Every review seems to be All in Favor of Canon Pro 1000...ughhh can’t wait. Beautiful video...

      What did you think of the color gamut? ( I was disappointed)

    Such a cool insight. Been watching your journey from NZ for the last few years. I am a piano playing musician and I've designed my own songbooks and gig posters, would love to be as self sustained as you have become as an artist. I'm really impressed how your perseverance matches your skill, good on you.

    Thank you for a really useful video. Don't worry about setting--up the printer, everyone has similar issues. What I wanted to see were the results. Recently, I managed to find a brand new 'old stock' Pixma PRO-10S, which is more or less the same printer as your, but gives better black and white quality for monochrome photography. I am sure that the PRO-1000 will bring bring excellent quality to your wonderful creative art.

    As I have a larger Canon pigment ink printer I am fully aware of it's color limitations. I was very surprised to discover that although | am extremly happy with the B&W results I found the color results to be disappointing to say the least? (yes I'm using fine art papers with the correct ICC's) Has this been your experience too compared to the dynamism of dye based printers?

    Considering how much trouble my home printer gives me when I just want to print a document, I'd be nervous about purchasing a high-end one used for artwork. They're always such a nightmare and ink is expensive.

    Hello, I am an artist/painter and I want to buy a giclee printer but my mind is set on a SureColour P9700 Epson printer but you mentioned that the reviews are better for the canon printer? What’s your continuous success with your printer?

    Hi. I was keen to know how you are getting on with this printer a few weeks after your purchase. How much mileage are you getting out of your ink as well?

    • @dannisimpsonart
      @dannisimpsonart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So i have used it fairly consistently and just found all the inks are now on low. Keep in mind these were also the first inks so they use a wee bit more to fill the print heads

    • @Lightwing
      @Lightwing 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dannisimpsonart Yeah with large printers like that, unless you're printing everyday, those inks are gonna dry up fast. As long as you're recouping your costs with sales, you should be okay.

    CAN I DO THAT WITH THIS MACHINE ??

    • @Aljoheri
      @Aljoheri 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Trust me, this is not artistic. Canvas is used to be painted, traditionally. And printing on rags, cotton paper is perfectly artistic. Museum methods.
