I'm shocked at the amount of people who are surprised that the Bride and Groom were okay with another couple 'taking away their spotlight'. I'm in the wedding industry, so have been to hundreds of weddings and without exception, the worst, most boring, most insincere weddings are those where the couple truly believe the day is all about them. The most enjoyable, laughter filled days are those which the Bride and Groom realise that a wedding is about sharing their love and commitment with friends and family. I have no doubt that in this particular Bride and Groom's case, the planning and execution of this wonderful proposal made their wedding day even more joyful and memorable.

Because I worked weddings for a little over 7 years and I'm not even a little shocked people are saying it's the bride and groom day. Hell my boss drilled it into our heads that wedding was all about the bride and groom.
This was such a wonderful evening to be apart of! My cousin Chelsea and her husband Tyler gave part of the special night to my soon to be brother in-law Brett so he could ask my little sister Megan to be his wife!!! It was Megan and Brett's 8 year anniversary since they started dating and Megan had no idea it was coming!!! Not many brides would give up even part of their day to share with someone else, but we have such a close loving family Chelsea couldn't have been happier to share the love!!!
I just have to echo the sentiment others have expressed... what an amazing bride and groom! Proposals are beautiful and moving alone but the selfless sharing of their special day puts this one over the top. Congratulations to the newlyweds and to the newly engaged. May you all have a lifetime of joy, laughter, and Love.
