Thank you soooo much, I had watched other's videos on this level and died multiple times attempting this and simply gave up and just went on and beat the rest of the game. I was so happy when I saw you uploading Spyro videos again. I watched this video and finished the level 100% with no deaths!
What's funny is there is another fairly popular video showing a method of doing the jumps but without even using two of the super charge ramps. It would essentially take a hard right from the first ramp, and then just run straight back up the ramp next to that first ramp and jump over that first ramp....(it's hard to explain.) I tried that many times but I couldn't get enough speed or height to make the glide. Then I watched this video of how it's done and I succeeded.
I know I’m way late to this, but I’m so glad you have this video up. This was a game I played constantly as a kid, so I immediately got the remastered version back in 2018. I stopped playing for a while, then quarantine happened and now it’s 2020 and there’s still a few levels I couldn’t finish 😅

I’m going to keep following your instructions so I can finally complete those annoying flights and to accomplish unlocking Gnasty Gnork’s loot. Ever since playing the very first Spyro before the remaster I’ve always wanted to get into Gnasty Gnork’s loot and watching your videos I believe I will accomplish that, thank you for the amazing walkthroughs!

I played this game as a kid but I never got very far (as I didn't own the game, i just rented it.) I bought the game recently because I all of a sudden got a huge Spyro nostalgia kick...(it's 2022.) I can confidently say that If I had tried this as a kid there would be no way that I could've done it lol, seeing how much I struggled trying to do it at first. I got so frustrated that I actually downloaded a mod pack with free flight to get it the first time. That may sound like cheating (and i thought so too) but the free flight saved me a lot of lost lives while I was able to practice the jumping sequence and I could just invoke free flight to fly back to do other attempts. I can say that thanks to this video I can now do it legit and it's actually really really fun to do.......so thanks! :D
I'm guessing you made a backup save before doing the level to practise and get it down perfectly. And I'm glad you did. Havent played Spyro in a while but this video is a thing of beauty. Was engaged all the way.
Go to a level in the beginning with alot of animals that your Dragonfly can eat after you blast them, one at a time, blast then after the Dragonfly eats it, then one more and so on, get alot of lives running around the board so the animals refresh, as for jumping, try pressing the jump right after Spyro leaves the ramp, worked for me
Brilliant video the 2nd secret islands where the only places I couldn't get to, at this point this level had to be the trickiest but for using the ramps you get that gold trophy as well as 100%
I hate this level with a passion!! I’ve never died (23/25 lives lost) so much on any level other than this one! Thanks for sharing on how to get those blasted gems.

Even with your guide, I had to give up on getting 100% in this area and therefore the game. I simply cannot control Spyro well enough at that speed or get t the timing right for the glide when trying to get to the first secret area. I just had to give up after losing about 40 lives trying. But thanks for the guide.

The fact that ppl did this without a guide amazes me. This by far the most difficult level up until now. That first speed jump crossover was hell…I went thru my 17 lives and two continues and those 4 lives each…this level was irritating. The second and final jump combo was fairly easy
You are the ONLY REASON I made it through this level. I never would have found out on my own how to do those jumps. You have my eternal thanks 😂

I have tried the jump with all of the super charges and I have lost 24 lives so far and still can't seem to do it any advice on how to make the jump?

Hehe... Go back and replay old levels to get more extra lives. Or try all the skill point challenges. You get 1-2 extra lives for each one.
