Dude this is an amazing video, I didn't know this was possible. I have always thrown away expired redemption's. I mostly do it because if its a big card I don/t need to be reminded of how Topps just ripped me off. I am going to save them from now on. None of the stuff you got was really that good, but who cares its the fact that they sent something. Never mind that Niekro auto is really nice! woof woof!
I agree, I wrote a nice letter as well explaining all the issues I have had in the past and how I have been big supporter of Topps. I think they as company really want to keep current customers around. I will do a part 2 to this video and show the letter and address I sent them to in case people want to do the same.

Thanks, yeah I agree you never know. I haven't heard anything on the non-expired "un-readable" redemptions that I sent along with these. It is my hope they redem those with the cards that are on them. I have an issue when I scratch the Topps cards where I scratch off part of the code. I have just started to use fingernails when scratching and haven't had a problem since.
I have a 93 or 94 (jeter rookie year) topps black gold complete set redemption. I was only 13 or 14 and didn't know what to do. Maybe I should send that in too. See what I get lol It's sweet that they gave you something
Eric its worth a try, I would guess they have long since distributed the complete sets, but its worth a try. I also have several of those that I pulled in later years. I do see that the unredemed exchange cards go for more than the redeemed exchange cards but not by much.
It makes me wonder how many redemptions that never get redeemed due to exipire or tossed. Also make me wonder why correct cards aren't always given out. Poor inventory management.
What Topps does with those unclaimed cards is something not everyone knows about. I have been involved in round tables with Topps and asked that very question. The answer I got was the cards in the expired product or program are used to cover cards that never were produced or signed by the player. It gives Topps and the collectors a place to meet in the middle and get the collectors a card in-hand. I think its probably clunky because there are so many issues that come up and because these exchange programs are run by humans who make mistakes.
Well that's better than nothing. I'm still waiting on my 2021 tier one and finest yoan Moncada autographs, none have shown up for sale so apparently I'm not the only one waiting. When I look at the status it says ask for a replacement, IDK if that's normal???

Last one was 2021 heritage low relic auto /25. As soon as I got mine others were also listing the cards they received. Now it's just a scam to get out of putting in hits. Especially your 1/1. Now that's really messed up. Makes you wonder if there's some backdooring going on in the redemption room. 🤔

I have a wander Franco 87 black parallel auto that I redeemed several months ago . I’m kinda tempted to hit the request sub . I been told they send you some bs but I also been told they will send something with equal or higher value so idk
Wow that's pretty cool they sent you cards and packs! Too bad about some of the redemptions being big but better than a total loss. Sometimes the packs they send can have some good stuff in them. I assume boxes get damaged before they make it to a distributor and that's where they get the packs from. my assumption anyway

It's worth the fact that the redemptions I sent were expired. If they had given better autographs instead of a combination of autographs and relics. But beggars can't be chosers.
I should really do this. I have a few expired and some damaged cards from Panini. Wow I'm actually surprised by what they sent you. This may turn out to be a better deal than the redemption depending on whatever you had. I should Definitely look more into this. Love the Niekro and Parker. Wax, very cool. I agree they seem to help and care about customers when you have their ear. I am currently trying to get them to help a friend who I opened a box of Chrome Jumbo and he got 4 of the same player autograph in the box. Its my hope that they either send him a few of those customer service bundles or gets him a new box, with me sending them the other cards.

I agree Tony, I hope if Fanatics does end up buying Panini that they adopt the same policies. I received an updated Terms of Service from Panini website this summer that stated they will no longer accept ANY expired redemptions. Which goes against the origins of Redemptions. They were put in when an autograph couldn't be fulfilled either by them or the signer. Now it seems like companies just want to run out the clock so they can save money.
I 100% agree @turboandsons they really put customers in the corner and make it so that vintage wax boxes lose out on what would be considered a big hit. I have seen people pull cards with expired redemptions that would have received thousand-dollar cards but essentially get a piece of cardboard. It is sad.🤔🙄
I have a Shohei 'mega' auto redemption, submitted on time and correctly that's been sitting for a YEAR!!! I inquire every so often...they say it's coming!
As it happens, this week I got an email from Topps that a redemption of mine is being "prepared for shipment"! (One of two, I have sitting for two years now!) I hope it's the Ohtani! Will let you know...
Are you kidding me? I received a 2021 Topps Update Aaron Judge All-Star Stiches Red Parallel Auto Redemption... 11 months ok 10 months to get that card. Just got it last week... Ridiculous
Panini also recently changed thier Terms of Service agreement and it now says that they do not guarantee or will not take expired redemtions. They care little for collectors. Maybe if Fanatics buys them that would change? 🤷♂

Shaka, I have a similar issue with a Bryce Harper 1/1 autograph, they have had that "ask for replacement" thing on the card since 2018. 🤷♂️

Panini has been notorious for redemptions, and not in a good way. I doubt you'll get anything back if you send them in.
