@Garrett Dixon I haven't bought cards since 2017.. doesn't make sense anymore they have destroyed this as a hobby ... $1000 for a 2020 box of bowman rhay might give you 3 $1 autos
Moral of the story is 99% of hobby boxes will return 10-20% of your money.. and now with pricing if you get the biggest hit, you might make 20-30%

I must say I love the way Topps taunts you to rip the cards. The "if you dare" is classic.
Never buy a rip card. The flashlight trick shows what’s in it without ripping especially the older ones

Not sure that I would buy these on a secondary market. Seems that you could weigh them pretty easily for certain hits.
Didn’t know how bad the odds were when I ripped mine. Got extremely lucky pulled a Paul Konerko red ink 1/10. Super stoked about the pull

They should have some of these rip cards be auto’d on the outside. Imagine having that decision.
It would be easier to rip for me. Auto would be unaffected, and instead of having an essentially worthless ripped card, I would have a still display worthy auto that would still sell ok if I chose to sell.
I'm going ro rip my 3 2022 hanger boxes and lil hobby mystery collectors edge box I got for under $50 at my Walgreens while I watch this video 🔥🔥
Edit: So with the $5 box, I pulled a 88 Donruss Roger Clemens, Ryne Sandberg, and Diamond King Gary Gaetti. Also got a upper deck Miguel Tejada WBC Dominican republic worn jersey relic, and a Jesus sanchez rookie card...🔥🔥 now time for the hanger boxes
@BrandonJ33 my 3 blasters gave me 2 julio base rookie cards and his Stars of MLB rc card, a bobby witt jr sp rc card, 2 Spencer torklesons (different variations), wander franco base rc card, 2 low numbered /2022 cards, and a green foil pirate card. So I would say pretty dang good. Bunch of other rookies to. But damn man, I'm sorry about ypur luck. I'm really not tryna shove it ypur face haha

Moral of the story. Unless you PC the player on it, always sell your rip cards unripped. I bet that Marichal auto sells for the same as the rip card it came out of, maybe less.

I can't decide if the rip or the mini card is more awful.
I would love to get hold of a rip card. Ripped or not. I think I could come up with a way of removing the mini without tearing the back.
I wish Topps did a product where the players signed with different colored inks and used those as the numbering of the cards opposed to using parallels colors for the numbering.

Still they should increase the amount of other colors because Blue ink is all they really use. About 85 to 90 %of the time it's blue ink while the other 10 to 15% is another color.

The card value isn't where Topps and Panini are but you do get your different colored inks tho... Just my . 02¢
@@superman04p Topps needs to do it on their own products because their the flagship of baseball cards. who really cares about Onyx. If someone does exactly what I said I want and demand quality compared to what onyx does.

Bought a box of Topps Rip and it was stolen off my porch 😂. So frustrating when I live in the city and the package could have been easily hidden, and then I’m told neither Topps or Fedex can do anything about it

I can't stand ripping rip cards. I just don't like to destroy cards, especially good cards, even if the risk can provide a great reward. But I love watching other people do it.
These seem like nothing but a cruel joke. To get someone to destroy a $100 card for basically a worthless card inside. Seems extremely stupid to me.

Mi pretty mad I pulled a double rip acuna/Aaron ripped it just the two base
I used to buy 5 or 6 boxes of every bowman release and there were 30 or 40 autos
Now there are 50 autos worth 1 or 2 bucks and 1 or 2 guys out of 80 worth money. This hobby has been destroyed and is only for breakers/rich people
I really dislike the RIP cards, they seem like they are a RIP-off.

These are horrendous... 1 per case ??? To get a $1 mini... this hobby is now worse than your local lottery. You have a 1 in 3 or 3.5 to get your money back... this hobby is now 1 in 20 or 30
