Its such a small part of this video, but you saying "No, I don't want to lie down" was so impactful. Im such an obedient patient that I never thought to say "no" during my first two births. Looking back there were some things I realize I would have preferred to do differently and seeing someone like you say "Nope, don't wanna do that" makes me realize I might say "no" next time too. Thanks for sharing.
Dear Delilah, I am not a religious person, but I believe so much in people’s faith. And I was this entire pregnancy hoping you would have your prayers heard. I am so happy for you for having a beautiful, healthy and fast birth. It is so beautiful to follow your family and watch your approach as a woman and momma! Congratulations. This little girls is so lucky to be born in such a family. Sending you guys tons of love 🖤
Hi! I just gave birth to my second baby one month ago. Have been following your channel throughout this pregnancy because I am also a Christian mom, and our due dates is so close, I feel like we are walking through this journey together. I love watching your daily lives with your kids, it gave me so many inspirations. After listening to your birth story, I am so touched and I want to share with you my birth story as well. It is a bit similar, only that I didn’t make it to the hospital. So I found out my baby was breech at 32 weeks, I was praying to the Lord for the baby to turn and so I could have a natural delivery. But it didn’t happen. At week 37, I talked to my OB and had my c-section scheduled two days before my due day. At first I was doing everything that I could to turn the baby naturally, but in my prayers the Lord told me specifically not to do anything but wait upon Him. I was hoping maybe the Lord will make baby turn miraculously right before the c-section. That two weeks was SO stressful! But I obeyed God anyway and gave up all human interventions. At that point, I already accepted the fact that I might have a c-section. But then at 38 weeks 2 days, in the middle of the night, I started having some mild contractions. They were a bit irregular, so I thought to myself, it must be Braxton hicks, so I went to bed. But the contractions didn’t go away, I woke up and took a shower again, thinking I might need to get checked in the hospital. But to my surprise, things escalated real quick. My contractions went from not painful to super painful all of a sudden. At that point, I still thought we could drive to the hospital ourselves., but oh man, the contractions grew so painful I couldn’t even stand. By that time I realized I probably couldn’t make it to the hospital, I panicked big time coz’ my baby was still breech! I cried out to God and meanwhile my husband called 911. My husband asked me to go back into the bathtub. I filled the tub and found out that there’s some blood in the water. The cop first arrived and he asked me not to push yet (I thought to myself: how is it possible?!), coz’ my body started pushing real hard, when I reached down I already felt the amniotic sac…a few minutes later when the paramedics arrived, I stepped out of the tub, and my water broke right there. I stepped out of my bathroom and saw that they put a lot of towels on my hallway. I felt that my baby was already coming out so I got down on all fours, my husband shouted, oh I see the foot! And then, right there I started pushing, within 2 minutes, my baby was born. She was born breech (one foot first, and then another foot, and then one arm, shoulder, another arm, another shoulder. And then finally the head) from the not-so-painful contractions to the baby was born, the whole process was less than an hour long. According to my friend who came to pick up my older daughter (and happened to witness the whole thing), the paramedics were terrified, it’s until my baby was born, totally safe and healthy, and I was ok, that they started breathing again. And though it’s a breech delivery, I didn’t bleed much, I could walk right after delivery, and my baby was very pink, no sign of suffocation at all. The paramedics even told me they wanted to give me a star because I kept the place so clean lol. It was a total, absolute miracle. To this day I am still in awe how the whole thing played out. Our God is so faithful and powerful and creative! I can’t praise Him enough! Glory be to God!
I'm 20. Not married, not even having a boyfriend but looking at you having all these experiences makes me so excited for what God has for me. Thank you for making these videos, Delilah!
I’ve lost my faith right before my previous delivery. It was hard. Now I’m in my 35th week of the second pregnancy and I feel that I need God so much. There are so many unexpected things that can happen. Hopefully I will find my way back to Him. Your story is giving me some kind of a kick towards it.
I had our third baby 3 months ago, our first daughter. It was a pregnancy where we prayed for God to sustain her the whole time, every week. I also went into labor on the due date, and she was born after only 3 hours of labor! It was my first natural birth, and also right after a preemie. I cried when you talked about the feeling of relief when you held her. I know that feeling well!!!! Praise God.
So so encouraging to me! I am 39 weeks today and praying for a smooth labor and delivery & to be able to do it naturally. God bless you and your sweet family 💕
Love this story.. it is so beautiful ! It makes my heart so happy! I’ve been praying for you and little Anna Beth all along hoping you would have this birth ! I love how you talked about hearing our Lord speak to you ! When I was praying and praying to conceive my son.. I would cry in prayer everyday driving to work and just randomly I heard a voice say. I heard you. -And weeks later I was pregnant with my beautiful baby boy ! God Bless you and your Family! We keep you all in our prayers daily. ❤
This story healed my own feeling about my own birthstory. It would be a Long comment if I described it all, so all I will say is, that somehow God gave me your story to calm me Down about my own first homebirth, which was veeeery intense.. and like with you, the water broke very late and more.. it’s hard to describe but Some of the things that happened at yours happened at mine and I have not met others experiencing that, so.. It was somehow a relief and with a lot of healing listening to you takling about it. Thank you to YOU and Thank you GOD for your beautiful birth (which I prayed for several times for you) including it healing my own❤
What a beautiful story, I had goosebumps the whole time. Praise the lord that mama and baby are doing well and that everything turned out wonderful. Congrats on everything Delilah, to you and your whole family.
Our God is so amazing!!! I had the same redeeming birth in the car only 1.5 hours and with no pain at all because I prayed and asked Lord for that miracle. He is sooo faithful, all glory to our Lord! ❤
I am 26 weeks with my first and I am bawling. I struggle with anxiety and I pray to God often for strength of mind to overcome my fears and I so badly want to be fully present during her birth. I know my body is strong and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Your birth story was beautiful and I thank you for sharing it.
This has me in tears!! What a beautiful experience! Your birth was VERY similar to mines. I, too, almost gave birth in the hall. I know the pain when it was the most intense after my water broke. Once it broke, I gave birth within 5 minutes! Only pushed 3 times and she was out! Yes the doctor also manually extracted 3 small blood clots and THAT was THE MOST PAINFUL THING I’ve ever experienced! It was worse than birth pains for me in my opinion but glad everything went smooth after that.
This made me so emotional, what a beautiful journey you went on, I'm so inspired! My first birth was a c-section, not a bad experience but not at all what I planned or hoped for, and I'm so hoping for a similar redemptive story for baby #2, your story gives me hope! ❤❤
I also have fast labours and my history not being honoured is definitely a pet peeve (and my husband’s greatest fear). With my first, I had a similar experience to you. They tried to put me in a wheel chair to get me from triage to a labour room and I refused. They wheeled the triage bed to the labour room and I pushed the whole way. Baby arrived minutes after I was on the bed in the delivery room. With my second, my midwives took me seriously and got to me (we had a home birth) with time to spare, and I am so thankful. Currently pregnant with my third and looking forward to another beautiful home birth.
I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd so you know I’m crying 😭 What a beautiful birth story. I was praying that you would get your VBAC and I’m so thankful you did!
What an amazing story! I didn't realize while watching the birth vlog that you pulled her out. Hearing you describe that made me cry (which is funny because I would never want to do that haha). I think the Lord really used your videos to help me with my pregnancy. My twins are almost a nonth old now. From 33-36 weeks, I thought I was having a C-section, but at my very last ultrasound, I got cleared for a vaginal delivery. My induction was 5 days later. My birth experience was so redemptive. I also thought I was going to have a hallway baby because they deliver twins in the OR and didn't move me until I was 10 cm. That was a brutal time being rolled from the delivery room to the OR. The also banged my bed into the wall a couple times. My husband said he could tell it hurt by my expression. Once I got to the OR, I realized I had to focus on my nurse and my husband and no one else. It was definitely overwhelming how many people were in the room. But then they finally told me I could push. My daughter came out in 3 pushes and very little effort. My son was transverse, so the doctor had to flip him head down then I was told to push. I didnt feel the urge, but I trusted my nurse and he came out in 4 pushes. My son ended up needing to be in the NUCU for 15 days, but we're all together now. And this was my third pregnancy and first positive birth story. The Lord is so good and I'm thankful that I had your videos as a means of reminding me of that during my whirlwind of a pregnancy.
I had watched your birthing video not once but twice. It was the most miraculous birth I have ever seen. I cried when you described looking down and seeing her face, your hand on top of her head. Then lifting her up to you. At that point I had falsely assumed the Dr had handed her up to you. Now we know that you yourself pulled her out and up to you. That was just so miraculous and wonderful. There was a moment where we saw how the birth affected Zack as he squeezed your shoulder, you likely never felt it but his knuckles started to change colour, it was likely when you pulled Anna up to your chest that he relaxed. I would say if you delayed by just five minutes leaving for the hospital, Zack may have found himself delivering Anna, in the car. You were so in control of every moment of the birth. We are so fortunate that you have sat down to recorded every moment of your birthing story and to share it with us. Thank you for filling in that one blank spot, it isn't something very few would ever witness in their life time, including the delivery team. Of pulling your own baby out too complete the birth.. Then to hear what happened after that, with what your Dr did to stop the bleeding. I honestly think he simply followed your example and did what he felt was right in that moment for both you and himself. I would guarantee everyone there to witness your birth, had never seen a birth like it. I am certain your birthing story is going to be repeated many, many times during the life time of all who witness the miraculous birth of Anna Beth. Praise be 🙏
Crying… thank you for sharing your entire journey of faith and trusting the Lord… He is so good and His goodness shines so brightly in this testimony 💗
Mom of 4 here, I got to pull out all of babies and it's the most beautiful and euphoric experience! My heart is happy that you got to have this experience! 💓
I love birth stories! God shines through in them. My 6th was born in the car after 57 minute labor and His hands were all over his birth! It was so beautiful.
This is sooo encouraging to me!! My first was an emergency c section and I’m now 36 weeks hoping for a VBAC. Trying to trust God either way 😭 thank you for sharing your beautiful story.
What are you doing anything to prepare? I had an emergency c section 10 months ago and now 5 weeks pregnant! I’m praying and hoping for a successful vbac and for my body to go into labor naturally
What an amazing story! I’m 34 weeks today with my first baby and it’s so encouraging to see birth stories like this. It’s been so awesome to see you around 2 months ahead of me this entire pregnancy and learn from you!
Hi Delilah, I'm sitting here crying in joy for you and your family. I'm not a religious person, but I love watching how natural you and your family live together in this modern world. Having this great experience take your baby by your own and welcome it to the world is so lovely and heartwarming. Hope you doing well post partum and you're enjoying live as a family of 6 now. ❤❤❤
this sounds SO similar to my 2nd birth. 9 cm in triage, barely making it to the delivery room. the involuntary pushes your body does is amazing..I didnt even make it into a gown until after delivery, but man it was quick and intense! thanks for sharing your birth story, congratulations to your family!
37 wks with my 3rd and this pregnancy has been full of anxiety and just trusting God. Your birth story is so beautiful and of course I cried the whole time😂🖤 congratulations on your beautiful baby girl
Oooo! I'm so excited to watch this later! I found out yesterday, I'll be induced this weekend ( which I've done before and has to do with gestational diabetes). So, to listen to your story now is such great timing! Thanks for sharing! It is so encouraging, especially your Christian perspective!
I’ve been feeling ready for a third baby, and watching this just has me in tears. “Her head was put, and I just reached down, pulled her out, and put her on my chest.” 🥹🥰 What an incredible, redemptive story. I am just so happy for you. 💜🥰
Thank you so much for sharing. So incredible that you got to pull her up on your chest! I love how honest you were about the pain. It’s nothing to be afraid of ladies, you’re strong enough to handle it. Also, I can relate to the “ hand all the way up there” moment. My midwife had to pull out my placenta to stop me from bleeding too much with my last birth. It was no fun.
Congratulations! I am 35 weeks pregnant, going to give birth in a different country than my other 3 kiddos so I'm a bit worried. I know exactly how that post delivery blood clot thing goes-I had it with my second! It was sooooo painful and a horrible thing to go through. My sister saw and fainted, she had to leave the room. I pray to God the same thing doesn't happen this time around. I remember the doctor pushed sooooo hard on my tummy I was trying to push his hands away from me 😳 that labour lasted 50min, I was induced via drip, no medication. It had traumatised me for sure. But here we are, pregnant again 😂 thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I watched the delivery video, I cried and showed my kids too. The moment babies come out and stretch their arms and little fingers out is so precious and cute ❤
A high in my life is that I’m welcoming baby #3 into our life any day now and a low is my fear of the change of adjusting to the newness of having 3 kiddos. When little baby is born I’ll have a 3.5 year old and a almost 2 year old so they are still so little themselves! But praying a lot about it have brought me comfort❤️
Delilah, your birth stories give me so much hope and peace for childbirth that I fervently pray is in my future ❤ There is no fear for those who are in Christ ❤
I'm sooo blessed by your testimony Delilah! God is there every moment of it❤ Made me reminisce of my 5 birht stories too where His Almighty Hand was evident through and through. Praise God!
To anyone who is feeling frustrated at people asking her not to push, the reason they tell you to go as slow as you can is to prevent tearing. Giving everything as much time as you possibly can to ease into stretching can really help with avoiding serious tears. So when birth is SO fast women can have tears severe enough that the membrane between the vagina and anus is gone completely. So do know that they are not saying that for no reason or to give themselves more time or something, it is solely in the hope that she can ease into it. Obviously you can't stop your body from pushing out the baby but sometimes women are in so much pain they push as much and as hard as they can and this can exhaust them before the baby is ready to come out, or lead to tears.
Please pray for me to have my vbac too. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with my second, and I had an emergency c section the first time, but now everything looks good, and the doctor says I can have a trial of labour. So I'm hoping to have my dream birth this time😊 I'm so glad you did. I'm sending you lots of love and good energy 💞
This was such a beautiful birthing story, and it has brought me to tears! So happy for you, Delilah. I am so glad that it was just the birth that you asked for! ❤ praise God! He is so good!
Ahh Delilah!! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content. Thank your being such an inspiration to me and I love watching your videos. You are so sweet to Anna Beth and I love how you care for her. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
What a beautiful birth story! I laughed at some parts and cried at others. Birth is such a beautiful and miraculous thing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful birth story and your pregnancy journey. Sending you and your beautiful family so many blessings 💓💓💓
I cried to this beautiful birth story 😅. I had my baby 4 days after you. Your video gave me the time to think/remember my birth story again :) Thank you for sharing ❤
I'm tearing up hearing how you got to PULL her out!!! Praise God!😭💖🥹🙌🏻✝️ That is soooo precious. I'm 36 weeks with my first and am so nervous but excited to give birth for the first time!! God bless your family, and in Jesus name I hope to be so present during mine as well.
Good luck in welcoming your little one! I had my first baby in May and the one thing that surprised me about the experience was how peaceful the atmosphere was. We even had a nurse offer to pray over us. Get in your last few solid nights of sleep and free time 😊 it's so exciting!
The way you described your contaction pain and how you had to sit, i was immediately thinking she was sunny side up... my first was like that and it was definitely my worst labor! Thankfully, i had an epidural, so when my doctor had to stick her hand in my poor uterus i didnt feel too much😅 all but one of my other 5 births have had bleeding issues. But God has always healed me beautifully (albeit slowly) and now number 7 is on the way🥰 Hopefully another fast, but not too fast delivery🤪
Big one! Glory to the Lord 🥰 and so much needed encouragement to trust Him. over here so much needed right now in my own journey about same dream 🙏🏻 hug and love!

This is an incredible story! 😍🥰🙌🏽✨ Wow.
So refreshing to hear a provider to say “breath this baby out” 🙏🏻
I cried so much watching this. It reminded me of the home births I've had. The feeling is indescribable
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast!! What a beautiful story!!! A testimony to God answering our prayers ❤️
I'm 20. Not married, not even having a boyfriend but looking at you having all these experiences makes me so excited for what God has for me. Thank you for making these videos, Delilah!

I had our third baby 3 months ago, our first daughter. It was a pregnancy where we prayed for God to sustain her the whole time, every week. You are so strong Delilah, I'm at 16:37 and it's so cute how you're holding her hand while talking about the labour in the hallway!
I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd so you know I’m crying 😭 What a beautiful birth story. I was praying that you would get your VBAC and I’m so thankful you did!
Me too…well 19 1/2 weeks pregnant with my third. 🥲
30 wks with my 3rd😊

Crying… thank you for sharing your entire journey of faith and trusting the Lord… He is so good and His goodness shines so brightly in this testimony 💗
Mom of 4 here, I got to pull out all of babies and it's the most beautiful and euphoric experience! My heart is happy that you got to have this experience! 💓
I love birth stories! God shines through in them. My 6th was born in the car after 57 minute labor and His hands were all over his birth! It was so beautiful.
Just cried so hard. I was praying for your birth and am praising God for His blessings to you 😊
It’s beautiful that you brought her up on your chest 😢 you actually delivered your own baby ❤
This is sooo encouraging to me!! My first was an emergency c section and I’m now 36 weeks hoping for a VBAC. Trying to trust God either way 😭 thank you for sharing your beautiful story.
All the best may God fulfil your heart's desire
What are you doing anything to prepare? I had an emergency c section 10 months ago and now 5 weeks pregnant! I’m praying and hoping for a successful vbac and for my body to go into labor naturally
Praying for you Mama, my first was emergency c-section as well and I am trying to get pregnant again now. Feeling scared but praying praying praying!
The blood clots story gave me war flash backs from hemorrhaging AHH so painful man. Women are amazing. Great job Anna Beth and mama ❤
God is so so good. Literally cried tears of joy for you!
Wow!!! Oh, Delilah! This birth was everything you always wanted! I'm in tears, how beautiful!
What an amazing story! I’m 34 weeks today with my first baby and it’s so encouraging to see birth stories like this. It’s been so awesome to see you around 2 months ahead of me this entire pregnancy and learn from you!
Hi Delilah,
I'm sitting here crying in joy for you and your family.
Such a beautiful birth story. I am so so happy for you. God is so good! 🥰
I love all of this so much. Your birth story is so beautiful! God is so good!
I’ve been feeling ready for a third baby, and watching this just has me in tears. “Her head was put, and I just reached down, pulled her out, and put her on my chest.” 🥹🥰
What an incredible, redemptive story. I am just so happy for you. 💜🥰
GOD IS SO GOOD!!! You are so strong Delilah ♥️
So beautiful❤ Thank you for sharing. I’m due with my first little girl in two weeks and this was very encouraging. I have similar labors, fast!
Congratulations, mama! Cried so much when you put her on your chest. ❤
So amazing!! God is so good, and your testimony is proof of that for me this morning! Love that you got to pull her out yourself, oh my goodness!
Such a beautiful story!! Your little girl shares the same birthday as my 3 yr old boy 🥹💛 God bless y’all!!!
You look so beautiful in this video!
And the birth story brought me to tears. Wonderful. Congratulations!
So beautiful! ❤ it made me cry too, especially because I am due any day. Due date was 3 days ago. Congratulations!
Delilah, your birth stories give me so much hope and peace for childbirth that I fervently pray is in my future ❤ There is no fear for those who are in Christ ❤
God’s mercy and grace is so wonderful 💖💖
Wonderful. I know you partially told your birth story earlier but this was great to hear more details of.
I’m losing it just balling! So beautiful!
God is AMAZING!!!! He loves us SO much!! It's beautiful to hear how precious and careful He was with you during this incredibly special time!! ❤
I'm sooo blessed by your testimony Delilah! God is there every moment of it❤ Made me reminisce of my 5 birht stories too where His Almighty Hand was evident through and through. Praise God!
Crying with you!! Ugh God is SOOO GOOD!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
To anyone who is feeling frustrated at people asking her not to push, the reason they tell you to go as slow as you can is to prevent tearing.
Never clicked so fast before. Mama, you are setting records with these speedy labors! Wild 😮
When you pulled her out, I cried. That is such a beautiful moment ❤
This is the most beautiful birth story I’ve seen ❤️💜
Please pray for me to have my vbac too. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with my second, and I had an emergency c section the first time, but now everything looks good, and the doctor says I can have a trial of labour. So I'm hoping to have my dream birth this time😊 I'm so glad you did. I'm sending you lots of love and good energy 💞
I'm exactly right there with you! Emergency c-section first time round, 26 weeks with our second now, on track for a vbac! I'm praying for us, girl ❤
You did such a good job advocating !

Her blanket is so so beautiful! Looks like heirloom quality
Wow. The way that you were able to be the one to grab her and pull her up to yourself. I am so in awe of you right now.
24 weeks pregnant and just absolutely bawling my eyes out listening to this story

I cried!!!! ❤ to God all the glory ❤
The most beautiful labor and birth story 😭🤍
I’m 39 weeks today! Love watching ❤
My hands hurt the next day from those combs lol. Your story is so beautiful! So thankful for the Lord’s goodness!!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful labor and delivery story. Many congratulations🩷
So touched by your story! God bless your beautiful family ❤
