It’s also worth noting that this kind of setup can be used for much larger field engines using SoftBank’s Instead of allowing the entire portal to decay If you keep only 1 or 2 resonators recharged the links will still drop after the 7 days, but the portal will retain its mods; this way you can extend the use of those very rare items without the need for a high number of Ada/Jarvis virus.
This is great advice. Another benefit of recharging a single reso is you don't have to worry about capturing the anchors at staggered intervals anymore, they will stay that way.
So, the important thing is that the anchor you’re throwing the link from is not under a field. As it’s the corner of a field rather than under it, you can still throw as per normal. Were there a field that covered the portal you were throwing from, it wouldn’t work (beyond the new 500m limit).
I keep a note on my phone of the decay times for each portal in the order that they decay so I can refer to it throughout if I’m ever unsure. Beyond that, I order the decay in the most logical manner to me when I set the decay engine up. Then I just have to count the amount of portals on my list to know how many keys I need to be able to use it. Hope that helps.

Yep, a good point. It would be nice to see it done on a much larger scale doing that.
Nice tip👌

Your videos are fantastic.... its too bad Ingress has hardly a player base to understand how satisfying your content is. Thank you!
Thank you! I will eventually get a bit more content out - preparing for anomaly at the moment…
How can you link 1km when under a field after you create the initial outer field?

@@LessThanJessLTJ ah perfect, I wasn't 100% sure about that. Thanks!
You’re welcome : )
Do you have a written game plan when you do something like this or is it just planned logically?

Yo, heaps better😁👌
Excellent! Will keep editing it like that. Thanks for the help.
