- This craps strategy here gave me a fighting chance at the Casinos from our last trip out to Las Vegas. It helped me survive the countless hours and days of Craps Sessions that we battled through. Love your videos and I watch them all the time. I would suggest when you are tossing the dice to setup up pass line bets around the table to make the tosses seem more realistic. Its not only the toss that is important but also being able to hit that landing zone with 3-5 stacks of chips around lol. Keep up the awesome content !!

Yo Brian. I'm liking this. And there's an added option. Obviously you could keep half pressing all the way for the long roll BUT another thought is once you get to a certain level, you could lock up all those profits including the bets by regressing and starting again at the 81 dollar level. @@HawaiiCrapsShooters 240 inside my pass line was 5 odds 25 ats was 5,25,5 my favor number is 11 and 3 on a come out roll so I put 10$ on each I don't have a strategies on betting but setting up the dice like you've shown was nice I memorized it. I hit the 11 on my first roll got 10$ on it I parlayed everything on 11 and 3 second roll was 11 again lol add another 100$ on both and came out 3 crabs I was like yes took all the parlayed on hard 4 and 10 after I got the number I started set the dice like the way you've shown until I hit the ats it was fun. I love how you combined Wager’s “Anything but 10/4” with DGE’s “4/10 lay bet hedge”, with a tweak here and there of your own.
If I may make a suggestion. When you got hit by the easy 4 you left all your other bets exposed to the seven and lost them too. You would be better off, I think, immediately replacing the lay/hw bets to the $210/$30 level, especially if you had been able to reduce them before to the $50/$15 level. In this way, if the seven comes you’ll get back at least a portion of your initial loss. The math shows that your likelihood of rolling a 2nd easy 4 before the seven is reduced by a factor of 3 (1:3^3 or 11.1%).

Great strategy. I need to try the half presses, the full press has not been working with short rollers. Can't lay much in Colorado until the limits are raise. Hopefully, we can meet up in BH when your crew come out here.
Half pressing is the way to go from my experience from hours on the tables. You’ll see in the long wrong it will out profit the full press.

Do you prefer this strategy to your lay the 4 with a HW 4 and quarter pounder with ease? Which one do you use in the casino now? Do you use it on all random rollers? Finally, which strategy do you use when you roll? Learning the game and you are definitely helping so thanks so much.
The strategy I use depends highly upon who I am rolling with. On my own throw, it varies as well. If the table is not nice to me then I will go conservative but if I have warmed up and dice are coming out nice then I will blast on myself. I have a video scheduled in the future to how I bet on myself.
Next trip to Vegas money shot I'm coming to visit you. Can't but improve my game.

I tried this strategy a few hours ago at the Golden Gate casino. It worked, but I'd suggest that if you're not an experienced player, don't press to black chips. Instead, press to one or two green chips at most, and find a good spot to regress down to 1-2 units so you can save as much profit as possible while getting used to this strategy.
Edit: I was on a $15 table, so when I said 1-2 units, I meant that you might want to regress down to $15 or $20 if you have 1-2 greens ($25-$50) on each number. Once you get used to this strategy, then you will feel more confident pressing to black chips.
Great advice. I failed to mention that this is more of an intermediate betting strategy and if you are a beginner or an occasional craps player you might want to practice it several times at home just so that you get used to all the moving parts. Thanks SCF

This could work if you have a set and throw where the easy 4 comes up even less often. I use the straight sixes and a whip shot to tank the easy 10. But the 7’s show up more often.

this is awesome! one piece i don't understand is, why do you eventually want to lower the lay on the 4 from $210 to $100, to eventually removing it? once you remove the lay on the 4, you no longer have a counter to the 7. i get at a certain point you eventually make your $81 back, but a 7 can still roll. shouldn't you always keep the lay on the 4 there? am i missing something in my logic? thx!

@@HawaiiCrapsShooters Welp. Sorry to report, I have to play the sad trombones. In a 2 hour session, I got whacked 3 times with the deadly Easy 4, Seven Out combo! Lost $330-340 each time! Pretty much killed my bankroll for the day. "Mr. Cooler" must've been walking around the table. :(

I like this and I’m going to do it. However, I don’t think I will work in the Come Out because a 7 would be very lucrative! Especially on a table with a bunch of random rollers! Heck, I might even Hop the easy 4 on the come out!

It’s automatically off but you can choose to turn them on
Since the 10 hit before the 4, what are the odds of another 10 coming before a 4? Point being, if 10 hits before the 4, take the lay off the 4 and transfer to 10, transfer hard 4 to hard 10, and take $25 (after half press) to the 4. Harder to hit a moving target when odds are in the mix. Thoughts?
That is interesting Michael, but in my opinion if that random shooter is definitely random then both the 4 and 10 still would have the same odds of getting hit the same. Now if it was a dice influencer than I think your theory would definitely work.

I tell the dealer $210 no 4, then the stick man $30 Hard 4
H.C.S.==Yes nice, The "Old-School Grinders" in Vegas will also BUY the 4 for 1/2 or 2/3, or 1/3 of your Lay bet. ( Your choice) This way if the easy four or hard four is rolled you lose your Lay but win your Buy bet at full 2/1 odds. A master Hedge bet. Remember you can take that bet down anytime. This is called a "double hedge bet" or "Pushing the House" Good luck at the tables, Garrison, Las Vegas. ( information was taken from the Platinum Craps Super System)

Hey, really like this hedge and all that you guys do. Question about the vig when you lay. Firstly, Do you pay the vig up front or just when you win? Secondly is your vig returned when you take your lay bet down? Thirdly, if you pay the vig up front and your lay gets bumped off you lose the vig too or is it returned?
Thank you Mark. Some casinos ask for the vig upfront and some don’t. When you take down your lay your big is paid back as well if you did pay it upfront. I don’t think they return the vig if you lose the lay but I’m thinking they should because the vig is only on the win.
That’s what I was thinking too cause vig is paid on a win only. Going to Vegas soon any idea of a small list of casinos that charge the vig after the win?

@@marklysak4609 Hedgehog is good to use on Random Rollers but I use a hybrid when I’m betting on my crew members since I know what their strengths are. I’ll be sharing that strategy in an upcoming video
7 on Comeout wins on the Lay, and if one keeps the numbers not working, then those placed numbers will be protected by come out 7's, and maybe hop the 3/1 on the comeout as another option 15 or 16 to 1 so $5 would pay $90

Great video, shows worst case scenario and ideal case with random rollers! I was gonna say something about hopping the 3/1 too. Also, you can throw down $3 on the any red on the comeout roll to hedge the possible $12 loss, effectively lowering your potential loss to $3 if a line number or horn number comes. If a 7 comes, you break even.

Vig should be $5 on a Lay $210. $1 for every $50 so $4 for the first $200 and then an additional $1 for the extra $10. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that is right. Thanks for the video!!
Thanks for the comment ff. From my experience, Casinos charge $5 for every $100 and because I bet an extra $10 they have charged me an extra $1 for a total of $6. Vig is 5% so 5% of a $100 is $5.

Went to Vegas Tuesday thru today and was throughly disappointed in Fremont streets lack of 5$ tables.. I guess covid hit them hard! Cause literally early morning start of the week and tables were 10-15 min ?! I was like nah I lol just play the bubble craps machine with 1$ min bet lol 😂

If the next shooter opens up with a 4 or 10 on the come-out roll and and then rolls a seven on the the second roll this will wipe out half of your $500 bank roll. I was on a crap table and the shooter opened up with 10 on a random roll. I bet against the shooter when he rolled both dice off of the crap table on his third roll. This shooter rolled four tens in a row on his come-out roll.

Hey Money, just noticed on your vids that you guys never place Come Bets, only Place Bets. Can you please tell me your reasoning for this?
We like the option of moving our bets around. Pass line bets and come bets are “Contract” bets and cannot be removed.
Here’s why I don’t make come bets.
Player A. Places $40 on the 5
Player B. $10 come bet travels to the 5 and player A already gets payed $56.
5 gets rolled again.
Player A gets ANOTHER $56.
Player B finally gets his $70 while player already made $$112.
What happens if somebody rolls an easy four on the come out roll and then a seven out the next roll? Lol I am not a fan of this strategy. Easy four comes up fairly often. Granted, no strategy is perfect. This does provide some protection and gives players a better chance to start winning early. I have a personal preference for the 10 over the four.
That is certainly the worst case scenario Russel but the Lay 4 has survived the easy 4 majority of the time.
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters Yeah it is not a bad strategy. I like to study the tendencies of individual players, if they have any, before I lay a bet. Some people throw a lot of fours and tens consistently. I will not lay against such people. I like laying against the ten when I roll because I have a knack for staying away from it.

Every person is a RANDOM SHOOTER that have RANDOM ROLLS. NOBODY throws more 4s than 10s or vice versa. Probability is same for EVERYBODY
I'm sure you agree that accuracy is important. Your 4 hedge bet of $200 will only require $205 to the dealer, not $210 with a net win of $100. You'll be paying the vig 'upfront' at most places here in Las Vegas, some only if you win the bet, 5% of what you will win. As having laid the 4&10 many times in 56 years I have never been asked (maybe you have) to pay 5% of the bet, only of what will win. If the seven rolls on the come out the net loss will be: $30+81+5-100=16.
Additionally when you reduce the 4 hedge bet the house will always round down the vig. Therefore a $100 lay vig will be $2, not $2.50 vig since the house does not use coins.
When you took down your lay, the dealer would have given you back you $2 vig.

Hi Sonics. It really depends on the Casino. Some Casinos round it up and some round it down. Some charge the vig upfront some charge the vig on the win. It varies.
the picture and picture style of live craps is too distracting. plus too many people talking and can't tell where they standing and placing their bets. (sorry, i'm talking about the craps videos you guys shot in vegas.)

5 and 9 are the two worst numbers to do place bets. Stop trying to cover so many numbers. You will end up so much better in the long run.
You don't undestand that the place bet is not where you make the money but it's the increased pressing that makes the true profits.
