So I have a Stanley and another thing it’s very rare but another thing you have to worry about is lead coming. I’m not worried about it too much but it concerns me. BTW I love your Stanley.❤🤍😚
This is helpful because I’m thinking of getting a stanley. I think one of your cons should’ve been that water spills EVERYWHERE if you knock it over. Loved the vid!!!
Fr i got an active cup thats the exact same size and exact same model, 5 pound from tesco, keeps it nice and cold and never lets the ice melt either, stanleys are a rip off
for any athletes who want to get a stanley, PLEASE DONT USE IT FOR PRACTICE OR GAMES😭😭 a few girls on my team bring their stanleys to practice, and a loose ball will sometimes knock one over. it will go unnoticed until the entire stanley cup has emptied out on the gym floor and got everyone's things wet 💀 it happens during games too, and the water gets tracked all around the bench and on the court 😭
Yes! I do gymnastics and people bring theirs with a straw and we trip and knock them over all the time! It’s a big mess plus it’s pretty gross because off all the chalk in the air plus toes and feet around where you drink.
Do you think it would be safe to bring my Stanley to Softball? I have the one with the handle on top but my time hits a lot of fouls during the practices as a game
I love cups like these, and I got a off brand one for Christmas, but it works the EXACT same! It's a little cheaper and they have some cute ombre designs! (For the people who want stanleys but want a cheaper price/on a budget)
Actually the lead isn't inside of the cup it's on the bottom and the lead is what keeps it cold, I literally seen people throw out their Stanley just to buy a Starbucks cup THAT WAS ALSO MADE BY STANLEY.
@@Maple_n_friends-vv1jkthe lead still gets in the cup. Also i think the whole starbucks cup thing is just them being stupid not anything to do with the safety of a stanley cup
I would actually like to add to the pros! They are easier to hold hence the handle. They fit in cup holders and aren’t as heavy as u think. They hold a lot of water and it will always be cold!
It’s not easy to hold because while carrying it you have to carry it STRAIGHT up or it’ll spill if the cup has a lot of water in it and it’s kinda heavy
@isMEkiyah I think it's SO heavy! So disappointed in mine. It leaks like crazy, ice melts way too fast, and it's so heavy! And, no, it's not a fake, I bought it from Stanley ☹️
I haven't scratched the paint on mine (same color Stanley as yours) and I've been using it for about 7 months now. But I also don't take it out of the house except to go to the gym because it's pretty big. If you just want it as a water bottle for the home the paint scratching isn't a major issue ☺️
i've tried both that one and the flip straw one and i prefer the flip straw because if it gets knocked over the water doesn't spill out. it's also great for school for that reason
I have a lot of Stanley’s maybe 5 and they do,do that so there not the best but I love them that’s why you need a straw cover or the things you put when you take it off it’s like a little blocker thing so it won’t leak and it really helps I have it❤!
Don't forget that the lid has no way of having any grip because it's so smooth so if you close it to tightly you have to spend like 30 minutes opening the thing 🥲
No hate AT ALL but as a person who also owns a Stanley. The when you turn the top the two gray pieces squeeze and make it easier. You just have to squeeze and turn them! 😅 I hope that helps a little bit. Everything else was SO TRUE though. 😅 + new sub!
Well true they do have led but pro doctors made articles about Stanley’s being safe if they have led it’s just don’t damage the cup or put hot drinks in it because if you put the hot drinks in it. It will melt the led and the damage will damage the thing that protects the led from poisoning you and I have a Stanley and I am not dead yet.
@@chachaarealsmoothh60 years?😂 it hasn’t been popular that long lol, it only blew up recently which means its gonna get found, also. People used lead in their makeup for years. Doesn’t make it safe cause no one knew yet 😂
YETI, LifeStraw, MiiR, all have lead. But in ALL of them its sealed so you wont die because imagine if that was true how many people would be in the hospital but arent.
Well it’s not rly that big of a deal because it’s only in the bottom of the cup and you’d have to work HARD to get that open. No ones gonna do that much damage to the cup unless intentionally.
Solutions to some cons if you knock down the cup and water spills get the toppers and stoppers they work really well and won’t spill and if you wanna twist the lid it’s hard To wxplain but an easier way is grab both of the ends press and twist it’s really easy
a stanley seems like such a waste of money. for starters, there were more cons than pros. and it’s extremely uncomfortable to carry around 24/7 because it doesn’t fit in water bottle pockets. plus, they are also highly overpriced. The tops are always open/accessible too, making it easy for bugs to fly in (this has happened to me with cups with a lid and straw hole) or roofies. also LEAKING? very much an issue. this girl in front of me on the bus had a stanley. it was sideways on the seat. water leaked from it, through the crevices of the seat, and onto my shoes.
lets also mention about the fact it has possible lead and it shouldnt be around children yet people are buying their 7-10 year olds stanleys even tho it may give them lead poisoning!! 😍🥰
@@tortillatwig2377 Thanks, but with a quick search i found that their is no chance of getting lead poisoning from it because there is no lead in the making of them. The only way to get lead poisoning by drinking from one is if your water had lead in it.
another con is it doesn’t fit in a book bag pocket like all other waterbottles, so u have to carry it around all day and sometimes it spills when u hold it because it’s tilted (like if u agree) 👇🏼
To help with your con of turning the top center cover. Squeeze the two parts that come off of the lid a little. Squeezing it while turning makes it smoother and easier!! Hope this helps!!

My Stanley leaks A LOT, but it also helps me drink water bc I NEVER drink water but since I’ve got it I’ve been pretty hydrated.
hey idk if this will be helpful or not but another con is that if u get the 40 oz(typical Stanley) it’s really big so it’s hard to fit into the little water bottle holders in most backpacks.
PLEASE SOMEONE MAKE IT CHRISTMAS AGAIN!! ❄️⛄️🎄

I don't celebrate Christmas so I can't relate
