Reminds me of a job i went to. They sent out like 3 guys before sending me. The vfd kept tripping on earth fault. They kept resetting it. They did check and verify no shorts. I show up, check the motor, no shorts, megged it, tests great.....megg the wiring......no bueno...found out it had been spliced 4 times inside the building.....scrapped the wire and did an all new run in conduit. Haven't had an issue since then. A lot of people forget to megg the wiring as well. Just checking for a direct short wont always show you the answer...i use my megger quite a bit. Great video as always
Nice..It’s crazy, I megged these first thing and it was low 9-10 meg, installed fuses and restarted, all motors ran about 1hr to let them warm up. Then megged again it went up to a few hundred and then I realized I was a victim 🐀🤣 Thanks Jason 👊
Also, there is a spray gel that will deter rodents from chewing on wire. But you probably do not want to go there. It has been around, but got really popular because some "Greta" type decided it would be a good idea to make soy based insulation polymer. "I did not see that coming", said no one...
Thanks, Air cooled chiller would have chilled water pumps and chilled water piping , chilling water that are attached to air handlers. The commercial Condensing unit here is direct expansion (DX) refrigerant expands in the evaporator in direct contact to the air to remove heat.

A shocking discovery.😅
Smart rat waited until it cycles off 😳
Good troubleshooting
Thanks Victor … 👍
Dang... How do you manage to have so much fun! Plus, I think you are part squirrel...

It’s the heat that makes it so much fun 😅 🐿️
Pest control company is going to place more rodent boxes in that area… if it’s not the rats it will be the iguanas or curly tail lizards and so on 😅
Excellent
Thanks Emmanuel 👍
I try to protect the holes in metal like that by pulling the wire through PVC that's installed on the hole👍
Going to run the new harness through some liquidtite
Great video. Thank you for sharing. What is different between Air Cool Chiller vs Commercial Condensing Unit ? How to identify them ?

You found the problem. Where are all the dead critters?
Ha, no critters found, just the iguanas running around
Noice
It like Mickey Mouse did choose the worst place on purpose !
That’s a fact
