@@My320SimDid you half and half with what you bought and what you built? Also about how much did this all cost to build? I’m curious because I wanted to build one similar but for the 737 instead.
@@Delta_310 hi, I say go for it! If you have the time and patience. It’s taken about 4 months to this point and a lot of tedious bits. I had an FCU and glareshield setup from years ago, and I also got the throttle and flaps/spoiler unit from eBay but they are FlightSimPM units which are pre-made. The RMP is OpenCockpits too which is pre-made. As of course is the joystick and rudder pedals. The MCDU is from A320FCU, a 3D printed unit which has an arduino and interfaces with Mobiflight. Aside from that it’s all built from wood and patience. So probably at the moment about 75-80% DIY. The whole overhead was built from scratch, as was the main instrument panel. Cost wise I don’t think it was too bad as finances are a little tight at the moment, it’s probably cost a few hundred across the 4 months to get the materials to build, switches and wire, arduinos etc. but that few hundred doesn’t factor the cost of the throttle, RMP or FCU but really I don’t feel they count as I had them a long time prior to building the thing. But with them items included then yeah it adds up real quick even with them all second hand!
My320Sim, again thank you so much for letting us in on your "simWorld".... love it!
Are you planning on adding monitors for the side the right side?
@@marvinbrooks2601 I might make a captains side one day but it’s on the back burner for now - space for it is the main limitation
Just how do u build this beast
@@ToxinuousTT haha with a lot of time and effort! 🤣 still a lot left to do though!
