I really appreciate you guys defining and clarifying all of the nomenclature, methodologies, and misconceptions. Repetition and consistent quality is key to reaching a wider audience
I think an under chassis jet wash is an essential piece of equipment for detailing. Use it weekly during your winter washes. I think there is a gap in the market to add a bottle to one of these to add some chemicals up into the underside of the car, then rinse them off for a better clean. DIY detailing, you guys should come up with a bottle that fits into the standard 1/4 inch attachments. I would definitely buy this. I wanna be able to spray chemicals using my chassis spray bar.
I'm doing this today, but will be jacking the car up to apply a mix of snowfoam & apc to bite through the salt and grime before running the chassis cleaner
@chriscrayonsroberts8025 There is something deeply satisfying cleaning the chassis the way you've described. Knowing the whole car is clean and not just the shiny bits are as best as they can be makes you feel great and somehow the car drives better....it's all psychological of course but is it? 👍
doing this next week. using the sponge for regular wash, first time seeing that. liberal use of the brush all over for emblems etc is nice to see, thanks for reassuring us its safer than most think.
Really loving the clay towel and gold standard pads and polish. Takes me some time getting used to new stuff but I have no complaints. The ceramic gloss is great as well and very versatile.
Hi from the uk… I’ve bought your gold standard polish and some pads…. Going to give the X5 a polish…. Looking forward to seeing how good this polish is…. Thanks for the great content you two and keep it coming
I gotta be honest I’m scared of using a clay bar. My car is an o6 garage kept, never ever has it been thru a car wash. Always done in my driveway then pulled into the garage. I wanna get pumped to really decontaminate and use my orbital polisher. Your decontamination towel is really calming me down to successfully try claying/decontaminating. I’m sooooo afraid of “scratching, or creating swirls on my paint. Your channel and clips are god sent for us weekend driveway warriors lol
Hey guys love the content and products. I had a question how many times can I use the yellow waffle pad and the purple microfiber pad before replacing? Also what’s the proper way to store it to maximize this time? Thank you!
Pro grade product at an affordable price for any and all. That water spot removal chemical is legit. Really enjoy how nice incredi suds works with my pump sprayer, still trying to get the ratio right though 😅
I just got DIY rinseless wash for Toc in Vaughan thanks to watch your videos. Sadly I missed Yvan he was there last week 😢 would have loved to talk to him if I had a chance.
I have a watched a ton of your content over the last year and I don’t think I’ve seen y’all explain the water spot remover usage so well (I’m sure you have). Do y’all know when that product will be available again for purchase??
Thanks for all the great videos and education. I am eager to try the products but 85% of the products are not in stock. Any idea when they’re going to Be restocked?
Hi again from the UK, great content like yourselves we are in spring waiting for the rain to stop 😢 is there a random orbital palm sander that you could recommend for me ? Cheers
Thanks for another great video. While im loving the PSD Towel, this spring i will be using up some IronX before considering switching to this method used here with DIY iron remover. Question, will the towel then constantly smell like thw iron remover even once dried...b/c, as you know, that smell is strong and unpleasant.
Guys, It may have been explained before but should i expect water spot remover and iron remover to degrade Si02 spray sealants? Let's say Ceramic Gloss or any 6 mo - 12 mo Si02 modern sealant example.
Should there be any concern about quick bead overspray on the brake rotor? I saw when you sprayed the wheel, the rotor got some overspray. I assume quick bead is some sort of sealant or coating. My first thought was about brake performance.
I'm getting ready to do the polishing off existing spray coating to prep ceramic. Do I need to use iron remover or can I just use the clay mitt with the foam? I have McKees 4 in 1 rinsess liquid.
I am not sure if I missed it, but I didn’t see Yvan use the undercarriage sprayer in the hood area. I’ve been told that you should avoid this area. Any thoughts on not using an under carriage sprayer under the front end of a vehicle?
@Will-ch8zt your foam cannon on average dilutes 10/1 by itself. The most cost effective and efficient solution is 4oz DIY Detail All Clean , 1oz DIY Detail Incredible Suds, and 28oz water
This one is only 3 inches tall, and you can use it without the wheels making it less than an inch tall. Alternatively you can park on small sections of 2x8’s or put the front end on ramps
They are not cheap but I like them because they are much easier to clean grit and dirt out of at the end of the detail and I can monitor how dirty my wash solution is getting and determine if I need to dump and make a clean solution to continue. Another issue with them is that they are made of polycarbonate, which is not very chemical resistant, so you will need to replace the every once in a while but I believe the advantages of them make them worth it.
These products are OFF the HOOK. Do it Yourself branding can mean semi pro product…These Are Not That. These are Pro Grade products that are supported by Yvan and his team that are only just being discovered by the public. Hoping the Iron remover gets back into stock soon guys.

Just tried the clay and seal on my black escape that Yvan showed the other day and works so well ... Done in 30 min with rinseless wash !!!
Excellent

Same, just bought a truck and didn't want to scratch it. I did the rinseless wash and used the clay rag, and ceramic coating. No scratches at all.
If you work with our clay towel and enough lubrification … do a little section on your test… I am sure your a happy
No pressure and do what they do works great! Don’t be scared
@@BXGreen_DrivewayDetails Thank you.

Great wash, enjoyed watching, thanks.

Good Evening folks - I missed your videos!
We didn’t go anywhere, videos every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, occasionally on Monday as well
Hey guys love the content and products. I had a question how many times can I use the yellow waffle pad and the purple microfiber pad before replacing? Also what’s the proper way to store it to maximize this time? Thank you!
We get on average 10 cars per pad. Store them in a cool dry place out of the light.
Nice video..what was the product name for the underbelly pressure washer contraption?
Just search Amazon for undercarriage sprayer.
Another great video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I hope some products will be in stock soon.
Yes, truckloads arriving daily
@@diydetailofficial I can’t notice that. Some products like all clean has been out of stock for a weeks.
If all the manufacturers uphold their promises, we will be restocked next week.

Went to order some Iron Remover...When are you getting new stock?

How often do you recommend using the iron remover and decontamination towel??
3-6 months
Any idea when Spot Remover will be in gallons. I find myself using spot remover more and more and gallons would be nice.
Hopefully next week

@@diydetailofficialawesome! Works great but goes fast!
Hey guys this may be a stupid question. Can you used water spot remover as a drying aid. Thanks
As I wrote this it was mention on the video that you are not using a drying aid.
DIY Detail Water Spot Remover needs to be rinsed
@@diydetailofficial thank you. I’m new to all this and trying to figure out what I need to place an order. Thank you
What product should you use as a drying aid before you ceramic coat it? Panel prep as the drying aid ?
Polish, then wipe off polish with a rinseless dampened towel. Then dry towel. Then do your panel prep
What if you don't have a polisher just dry the car with a dry towel then use panel prep ?
Hi again from the UK, great content like yourselves we are in spring waiting for the rain to stop 😢 is there a random orbital palm sander that you could recommend for me ?

No need to overthink this, they all do the same thing. Pick a tool company that you like and run with it.

Hey, when will products be available again on your shop or Amazon?
Very soon!
Im with you Yvan i hate getting my feet wet with sock and shoes on.
Wet feet are for pools and showers
@@diydetailofficial yes sir, my wife laughs at me when I say, "if my socks get wet I'm done."
Agreed
When is the rindeless v2 coming out and when is the water spot remover available in gallons?
DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash update will be this summer, DIY Detail Water Spot Remover should be a few weeks
When you getting All Clean back in stock? I use it everyday in my business now and only got like 3 days worth left.
Next week.

Yes

Not an issue, next time you drive in heavy rain, open your hood, it gets quite wet in there.
Just became curious, do you guys use regular tap water? Or do you use de ionisied water?
Regular tap water
When will Gold Standard be back in stock?
Next week
Looking to do the stack 8 year on top of 3 year on two vehicles - once sedan and one minivan. How much coating do I need?
If you don’t do the wheels, a bottle of each will suffice, the stack is 8 year on the bottom, 3 year is applied 2-8 hours after.
Do you use the same wheel and body brush that you use on the wheels on the body? Or do you have two separate brushes?
I prefer using two brush, because I do many cars
Hi guys...can we use Iron remover and clay towel on a coated vehicule.
Absolutely!
How long does the SiO2 in your Waterless Wash last? 1 month?
That’s a fair assessment
can I use cordless pressure washer with foam canon and incred suds?
Yes
Water spot remover on top of iron remover and only rinse once?
Rinse before iron remover and after apply water spot remover
We need a dedicated video on using the flagtip brush on the paint. That was cringe to watch lol

@Will-ch8zt your foam cannon on average dilutes 10/1 by itself. The most cost effective and efficient solution is 4oz DIY Detail All Clean , 1oz DIY Detail Incredible Suds, and 28oz water
Why not use a blower and then a drying towel for anything left over? Less contact the better??
A blower not only removes the water, but also dries some of it. This leaves minerals on the surface.
@@diydetailofficial Hmm, so not at all suggested I guess then. Interesting! Also, what do you suggest to use for cleaning a dusty instrument cluster?
If you’re using spot free water, yes it’s fine, tap water no. DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect or DIY Detail Rinseless Wash for instrument clusters
