No you don’t. I drove the QX80 autograph and it was awful. It is a slug. The tech is nice when it works. Same frame, different front rear facial, and pathfinder parts bin. Take a good look at a new one and at 92g run. I knew paying 56g for my then new armada platinum was a bargain because it is a dinosaur but it has held up far better than my Denali did.
I feel awe seeing how wide between Zack and you. I like the touchscreen shows city mapping looks good. Nissan Armada is a huge machine! Great show Andrea! ☕️☕️
That has to be one of the most nicely integrated digital layouts I have seen so far. Many seem to either look like an add-on after thought or overwhelming digital inrerface at the expense of tactile manual controls. The layout is spot on IMO. I only have some Christmas/New Years wishes...that all manufacturers agree to ban the use of shiny black surfaces on every vehicle inside and out, that fake vents would never show their useless faces again and that Canada's, nay, the world's foremost auto reviewers would would have a blessed Christmas with a peaceful and prosperous New Year!
Absolutely beautiful top tier SUV more capable than majority of SUV's out there imo. I wish they adopted the built in air-compressor and off-road kit like they do for the overseas PATROL, other than that this is a huge win for Nissan. Built in JAPAN
Funny to not see 1 comment complaining about turbo V6 or "bring back the V8". A bit of proof that the trolls are definitely more focused on one of the other larger and more successful Japanese automakers.
V8s in non-commercial vehicles are on the way out, like it or not. The problem I have with twin-turbo V6s is they don't deliver appreciably better fuel economy than naturally aspirated V8s and their long term reliability in heavy hauling and towing scenarios is a question mark. Of course, how many people will use an upmarket 3-row SUV for heavy towing?
Mehh I mean somewhat truth to it but the original comment still holds. But maybe the crowd here is more mature than other channel viewers who act like 12 year olds@@theglowcloud2215
Looks like a Titan from the front, has a Pro 4X package available, GTR engine, good styling and interior. I'd buy this over a Tahoe or Suburban any day.
Love your dynamic duo reviews!!!!! Such a fresh take! Love both the cons and pros! And the duality that yall have! Been subscribed for so long and your videos are always fun and informative’ and the exterior b roll shots of the car are the best!!!!
I love Nissans. They’re perfect used cars because they depreciate so much more quickly than the other Japanese brands buts the quality is still great. The Armada will be a great deal in 3 years.
When I drive the Armada I'm never worried about gas. I'm more interested in the comfort and sitting high up and also safety since bigger vehicles are stronger compared to sedans and crossover which is why I'll only drive full size suv.
Nissan hit a home-run with this Armada. I take this over the Infiniti QX80 and save $20,000 to $30,000, definitely a way better value...so gorgeous, masculine, upright and drives great!
Nissan Finally bringing out better vehicles, with proper transmissions. Not a huge fan of Turbos as shorten engine life, but I understand why they are using them
Nice to see Nissan releasing all of these new models! They need to it for their survival, granted this’ll be low volume but anything to help them is needed. New Kicks, Murano and this Armada all are now competitive!
@@dcb113 Oh it definitely is a tank too. I went with the Boat theme because of its Naval related name. Either way it’s a huge vehicle that it will never sell in any large volumes to help Nissan get out of its current rut.
my family wants this car (without air suspension) - we plan to vinyl wrap the central portion. I'm not sure why they didn't just make the shiny black plastic parts look just like the textured/brushed plastic they use on the door handle surrounds.....weird.
Funny how the two crome strips in the grill look like some eighties mistake in that burgundy-like one, but it looks perfect in the blue one you showed. My money would actually be with Nissan group with both reg and lux varients, this generation!
Leasing this thing cost 2000 CAD a month for the top trim. This is insane. A BMW x7 cost 50 CAD less. I could never imagine i see a day a Nissan cost like BMW .
Beautiful looking vehicle. Too bad it was converted from a naturally aspirated V-8 to a twin turbo V-6 and too bad its capacity doesn't match the Suburban, Yukon XL or Cadillac Escalade ESV
The SV is interesting due to not extreme price. Armada seems to maintain a bit of soft-roadability unlike Tahoe and Expedition with their tremendously low rear control arms. And if not for that or towing, there's no reason to get a full-size SUV, as the mid sizers offer as much cargo and passenger space for many thousands less.
@@Dave-hb7lx It's mostly EV stuff which wanna work together and address the growing EV market. We could also get the Altima type R, Ridgeline might get an actual body on frame chasis and hondas might become unreliable but I'm here for it.
Funny how they can have a twin turbo V6 in this but they have to drop the V6 in virtually everything else they make…. And the excuse is emissions…..so this can have emissions but the new Murano has to go 4 cylinder now
Not for me but I'm sure there is a niche market. Question is are there better choices than Nissan in the same price point? My guess would be, yes. I'd do the Lexus GX long before this.
The one thing your reviews are missing a bit is addressing the reliability of all the different brands. There seem to be several brands that don’t seem to stack up very well as far as that goes.
@ well Nissan for example used cvt’s and were notorious for problems. Shouldn’t take so long to decide to fix away with something you know has issues. A redesign is one thing but they should get it at least half right to begin with. Nissan is not the only one who who seems to have this problem.
With the price creep of 2 and 3 row SUV’s these days I would say that this is almost a bargain in its base model. I would rather have this than a top model Explorer or Traverse.
Agree with you guys, the shiny plastic fantastic center-pieces have got to go, along with the cockamamie button shifter. And the quilting/pattern does absolutely nothing for the interior--even on the Pro 4X, though "better" as you say...so, still that model FTW. Other than these nits, sseems like a great rig.
Can anyone explain to me the reason behind car makers price these "full" sized SUV's double the amount of a "mid" size SUV? What is the reason behind? Some of these full size SUV's interior space are not that different, let's say the VW Atlas, arguably one of the most spacious mid sized on the market, yet it you can get a base model for $39K brand new?
i hate it when companies feel that they can determine my interior color choice for me (and why is everything always black?!!). so if I want offroad capability, it has to be all dark black interior? yuck!! I like my cars to be bright, light, and airy. Leave the black for the floor carpet.
85K to 105K CAD, seriously!?!? Who the F can afford that!!! Add the cost of fuel and it becomes evident that not too many people can afford such a vehicle. Concerning the shiny plastic, I would guess it is awful when the sun shines on the interior.
Zach if you want to be more ingratiated to your American audience say chassie with a harder ch than chassie. It's hard to explain but look through a few videos on TH-cam .
excellent question - i suppose they like it better than painted plastic because the black plastic is solid color throughout. It may show fingerprints and scratch - but it might be easier to fix in the long run.
Will always love this car . It saved my life when I was hit by an 18 wheeler! Love to see the upgrades
This is definitely a better value than Sequoia or the American counterparts. Good job Nissan.
Damn... I just bought a 2023 platinum with 5k miles, now I want the new gen Armada.
You got a reliable one there. Same as in my garage
No you don’t. I drove the QX80 autograph and it was awful. It is a slug. The tech is nice when it works. Same frame, different front rear facial, and pathfinder parts bin. Just send me that old clunky 2023 Platinum
I will nurse it carefully.
Then you can go ahead and buy that new shiny one!...
😊
I'd keep the 2023. The v6 has more powe on paper, but slower than the 5.6V8 in the real world.
I feel awe seeing how wide between Zack and you. I like the touchscreen shows city mapping looks good. Nissan Armada is a huge machine! Great show Andrea! ☕️☕️

Motormouth - best in the business!
I'd pick this Armada over the Infinity model. Looks much better inside out.
I totally agree with you...The Armada is way better value and looks better too.
Absolutely beautiful top tier SUV more capable than majority of SUV's out there imo. I wish they adopted the built in air-compressor and off-road kit like they do for the overseas PATROL, other than that this is a huge win for Nissan. Built in JAPAN

I would choose this over the Tahoe despite the smaller size.
Really nice looking !
Wow regular gas! ⛽️ and you get that much performance! Hugeeeee win!!!!
I love Nissans. They’re perfect used cars because they depreciate so much more quickly than the other Japanese brands buts the quality is still great. The Armada will be a great deal in 3 years.
Agree. Sucks for people like me that bought my Nissans new!
I do like the Pro 4x!
He Andrea's take .. outstanding!!

I like the truck-like look of this SUV. The top trim looks like a very plush space to spend time in.
Great and fun review! Thank you!

Happy Holidays, Zack and Andrea! Thanks for the knowledge. 🎄
You got me at GTR engine!! 😍
Toyota should be ashamed looking at nissan interior good job nissan all the new models are beautiful
Andrea & Zack, WOW, I LOVE THE CARAMEL/BROWN INTERIOR ❤🇺🇲🇨🇦🎄⛄️🎅
Excellent information, thank you.
Pro4X is the best looking and overall package.
That gulp you hear is Honda about to swallow.
Awesome review guys...but another BOX introduced in the automotive industry. 😆🙈
Nissan Finally bringing out better vehicles, with proper transmissions. Not a huge fan of Turbos as shorten engine life, but I understand why they are using them
Trouble is, isn't helping with fuel economy.

They are in do or die mode!💀💸
This is basically everywhere here in Dubai and all over the Middle East.
Exactly everywhere in Abu Dhabi
Perfect name for a BIG boat 🚤.
I was going to say tank, but yeah.
@@dcb113

Great video as always guys! How do you like the new Armada compared to the newly refreshed Chevy Tahoe?
I’m curious how would regular spring suspension would behave over the air suspension version.
Seats look comfortable ❤🎉. Get job guys 🎉🎉
People seem to like them nice and big
They need to merge with Honda ASAP and rename themselves HONDATSUN.
Can they lend this V6 to Genesis for the GV80?
my family wants this car (without air suspension) - we plan to vinyl wrap the central portion. I'm not sure why they didn't just make the shiny black plastic parts look just like the textured/brushed plastic they use on the door handle surrounds.....weird.
Nissan's competition "nationally" is the Tahoe, Expedition and Sequoia.
I hang on to the roof handle also when my wife is driving, it somehow makes me feel safer lol 😂
You guys recently tested the 2025 Tahoe, so which one would you prefer between the Tahoe or the Armada?
Hi there.
How would you compare the Armada to GX 550 ?
Ill take this over the disappointing 4 of the toyota land cruiser. Only issue...WILL NISSAN BE AROUND IN 1 YR?
Funny how the two crome strips in the grill look like some eighties mistake in that burgundy-like one, but it looks perfect in the blue one you showed. My money would actually be with Nissan group with both reg and lux varients, this generation!

Why is it, that the same engine with Infiniti requires premium gas and not with the Nissan?
They are tuned differently. Extra HP on premium for the Infiniti.
They did a phenomenal job. The seats are way too busy. No one else said it. Please compare this with Yukon and Tahoe and maybe expedition.
So, when raised all the way, it's got over 11" of ground clearance?
can float over water
I don’t see why Nissan wouldn’t overtake Honda who simply sits on their laurels and over charges

Not Great resale. Will they be in business in a year?
They are merging with Honda.
In talks w Honda about a merger. Why Honda wants this is beyond me but its above my pay grade.
@@Dave-hb7lx It's mostly EV stuff which wanna work together and address the growing EV market. We could also get the Altima type R, Ridgeline might get an actual body on frame chasis and hondas might become unreliable but I'm here for it.
Resale value makes Nissans so good for the used car market
Love it.
Funny how they can have a twin turbo V6 in this but they have to drop the V6 in virtually everything else they make….

If they left the V6 in other models …it would be harder to sell this one

The niche market is the one where the value of the dollar takes a back seat. More important : how do I look sitting up here above the hoi polloi?
I'd buy one, but needs to fit in 6.2ft parking garages.
The one thing your reviews are missing a bit is addressing the reliability of all the different brands. There seem to be several brands that don’t seem to stack up very well as far as that goes.
Who knows since this is a brand new model ??????????
@ car brands still have multi years in production to get a sense of their reliability
By the time they get a model right then it's time for a redesign 😂😂😂
@ well Nissan for example used cvt’s and were notorious for problems. Shouldn’t take so long to decide to fix away with something you know has issues. A redesign is one thing but they should get it at least half right to begin with. Nissan is not the only one who who seems to have this problem.
Would love to see a new Xterra.
The profit will be on the Armada.. makes more dollars.. and sense!!

8500 lb towing and more off-road capability.
Is Nissan going out of business or going through financial difficulty?

Who walks into a Nissan dealer looking to put down $85 G's (U.S.)?
Yeeeeee, nar!
Pro 4x is the one ! Interior / exterior!
Quebec roads are the worst!
Beat it By Toyota Sequoia
Ooof. Pro/X price is no bueno.
What do I think, too much money for a Nissan

Making the interior smaller than the Tahoe is big miss for Nissan. Other than that the exterior looks like a homerun
Lol because the fkin interest rate is the same probably $1,000 month
Just in time for Fed to announce no rate cuts lol
@wyw201 🤣
Why do auto manufacturers not recognize how awful shiny black plastic is?
excellent question - i suppose they like it better than painted plastic because the black plastic is solid color throughout. It may show fingerprints and scratch - but it might be easier to fix in the long run.
Another huge pig of a vehicle. People who drive these huge things in Toronto always seem to be using a lane and a half.
Too expensive imho.
should be 1/2 the price imho
Not a fan of the looks. Looks too soccer mom. I am a fan of the y60 and y61. Why nissan why?
Can’t afford it. Sorry
Be careful it's a twin turbo V6 and Zack looks genuinely scared 😳
Looks Ford-ish.
Not a fan of the push button drive-can't wait till this fad is over and go back to the shifter--Nice Leather outfit Andrea👍👍
Where is the rear entertainment system/ screens for the kids?? Are they available as option?
Yes. It's called iPads! 😉
