This build is not min-maxed and has so much potential to be stronger. One simple thing I could have done to boost my damage A LOT was put "Attack My Target applies a stack of Shock to the target" on one of our companion weapons to make sure our grenades always crit. Leave a comment below on what else you think would make this even stronger without sacrificing tank. Also, we started our Nightmare Mage today! Look forward to seeing a build guide journey and impressions. We will be skipping story so it should go fast so we can then maybe do a rogue as well if the community enjoys these guides. Thanks all! Like and Subscribe helps a TON for new small channels like myself. 🥰
Great video, with several "niche" and interesting interactions. Good job and thank you! In case you are interested, I've been playing around with the warrior, with a very similar skill tree, but with stagger oriented gear instead of fire ones and oh boy, I'm not disappointed! The best hammer for stagger, immovable buffs, increased staggering and stagger duration (currently my stagger stat on the hammer is above 1800), add Bellara and Neve for slowing time and you got yourself real dps phases against bosses. Even ogres can be stagger with 2 to 4 shots with the hammer, hit them with the charged attacks from the same sword than you during the stagger phase (you have time to charge when you are facing a gigantic pinata ^^), perform the finisher/takedown (when you can) and get nice bonuses for doing so, rince and repeat xD I'll soon be able to try this with the shield that totally nullifies the defense of staggered ennemies 😍 Also, there is a hammer dealing more damage the more defense you have that could be interesting. Last but not least, I'm switching between heavy armor duo (for the +20% defense) and the intermediate duo for the added charged attack damage using the armor that also grants +10% damage per positive status (same than the one in the skill tree) 😉
That sounds so nice! Having the time slow definitely solves some problems I had with trying out stagger builds vs bosses. I swear, the companion choices are so important for builds! Thank you for sharing! I'm working on the nightmare mage build guide currently and then perhaps rogue after. So many possible builds that it's nice to hear what other people are crafting.
I am normally Rogue and mage. I haven't really gone far in the game created Rogue and mage class and played a bit with both to see which I wanted first run with. But then I saw Captain America build. So now I just made a Warrior going to spec a lot in to shield toss. I never really play warrior because they are often kind of boring. But because of the ranged shield toss that just annihilates enemies in groups and other abilities actually being kind of fun. And you having much more defense it's fun so far. I mean I just started but noticed how hard warrior actually hits.
I think they did a good job on warrior making it not feel like just a melee class. Each class seems to have decent build concepts for multiple playstyles. Enjoy the journey my friend!
(1)I know you get one copy from the small chest in Hossberg. (2)There is another copy during the Harding companion quest going to meet the oracle statue for the first time. The ring is in the gazebo resting area on the long bridge with giant statues near the end of the quest while following the NPC. (3)I'm pretty sure one more is from one of the faction vendors like normal. Unable to confirm where you get the final copy but I usually have it legendary before the end. Maybe someone else can confirm final spot.
I went with Lords of Fortune because Dwarf in shiny gold armor looked awesome! Probably not a good nightmare pick. +1 potions on the Crows or Slightly more defense and hp from Wardens prob better... BUT GOLDEN ARMOR!

Been loving watching the evolution of this build. Definitely gonna respec to it.
Hell yeah! Thank you. Hopefully my Nightmare Mage journey will end with a spicy build!

I AM Elgar'nan ! 5:17 Yeah yeah and I am inevitable.
Emberborn shard, found 2, black emporium and the left portal of the music room, which ports you to the top.

Where’d you get the final upgrade for the Unburnable Band? Been searching everywhere and only have it at Epic.

@ Yeah these are the three I’ve got I think. Will continue searching for the last one, thanks for the reply!
@@ImJustAnthonyTube Found it! Last copy is in Rivain Coast. th-cam.com/video/v0oirJat9VU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NtpEcJYaGRgxRlcL&t=768
Loved watching the first video then the final one. What faction did you go? (I know the bonuses are minor, but still)

@@ImJustAnthonyTube You can buy that golden Armor or you can find it and use it as Mog.
@@PitBullFFM76 Right! I got baited on my first playthrough with the shiny object!😂
@@ImJustAnthonyTube You must have gotten a few genes from a crow. 😏 "Oh it shines like a diamond, I must have it". 😄
