Whoops, I accidentally set this video live 2 hours early. I'm sorry to anyone who likes routine and was looking forward to the regularly scheduled time of (the time in your time zone), back to normal next episode.
A good inclusion to Hi-Evo deck because an energy float in that deck powers up a lot of different cards, and Bruce is the only 2-cost that matter for a standard Hi-Evo deck (Shocker just wouldn't made the cut). With that said, Bruce seems to be still very weak. At 25% played on curve, it still takes 3 turns for higher than 50/50 chance to Hulk out. And if he doesn't, the floor is just too low at 1 power. He either needs to raise the chance to 33% or raise the base power to 2/3. Should never play this with any other decks, because those energy floats add up to the costs. You wouldn't play a 5-cost card that has 50:50 chance to be a 12 or a 1 power.
Honestly, in most games, if played on turn 2, he should hulk out. But this card us also a buff to red hulk because people won't be spending their energy. With that said I'm probably skipping because I'm now on keys and tokens now. Also I have two high evo spotlights and one rankslayer spotlight
I just thought of this ReZ, with the Doom 2099 release, his synergy with Dr. Doom, my mind is is clicking thinking this would be also a fun incllusion into a Patriot Spectrum deck
I quite like Bruce for Evo… But I think he’s a nonbo in Arishem, who is now built around 4 energy cards and uses all energy on turns 3, 4 and 5. Problem with Bruce is he falls between 2099 and RRaG which are both great cards.
I get what you’re saying about the disappointment in the Hulk Card not being new artwork but what can we honestly expect from SD? If you buy a Doom variant the bots are still basework, Brude Variant- other broods base art, Squirrel Girl (Zombie Exclused) Squirrels are basework… it prevents me buying those variants.
@TwoCentReview well I wouldn't pull for it unless I was prepared to go all the way. I have the keys but I'm not one to squander resources on C tier cards. Especially considering I want a lot of the stuff that is coming in the next two seasons. The reason I am almost collection complete(11 cards short at this point) is because I am careful with resource management and don't chase bad spotlights like this. So yeah, not worth one, means it definitely isn't worth 4. 😁
@@batmanwins5701 Yeah. It seems fun, but not good. I can see the massive ups on this because you could get a 12 for 3+ or get nothing for 3+. It’s a fun design, but it will feel like you never get it, but your opponent always does. I usually don’t open caches if I don’t have 4 keys, so there are a lot of times where I don’t pull. The High Evo variant is nice, but that still means I have 50/50 shot of getting what I’d like or something I really don’t care about. Funny story, I actually pulled Kang a while back and it should have been more exciting than getting 1000 medals, but I just felt numb.
@TwoCentReview totally! It's a very swingy, RNG, glass cannon. The opportunity for it to fail seem to put weigh it's potential to win games. And functionally it doesn't seem to add anything new, just an RNG stats card. Honestly its cute but kind of boring. Maybe it has some potential that I'm failing to see though.
Pulling with keys because Need Ravonna.. and have no Evo variants. Like to get Groot Rocket but I really want Moonstone so I'll skip them Then id like to get Ares. Be all for me until the after the Capt season
I'm curious to see how Bruce is working for people, but the card I'm most interested in this week is High Evo just because it would unlock a new archetype for me
I do know the answer. It does not unfortunately. High Evolutionary unlocks the abilities of the cards in your deck and hand. The Hulk token generated by Bruce Banner doesn't exist at the point that High Evolutionary triggers.
Do you mean High Evolutionary, and about how Hulk won't be the Evolved version? I think it's still beneficial, because in that deck you want to float energy anyway, so it might be alright.
@rezsnapper yeah that is true but we all have seen the 25% chance in Danger Room it's still not reliable. I think the card would be more interesting if it had an effect to revert back to Bruce Banner if your opponent saves 1 energy. It would at least be a fun tug of war game going on for positioning.
Whoops, I accidentally set this video live 2 hours early. I'm sorry to anyone who likes routine and was looking forward to the regularly scheduled time of (the time in your time zone), back to normal next episode.
It's okay, it would be bad if the video was released later than usual, at least it was released earlier 🙏
Sorry I was too efficient, my bad....lol
This better be the LAST time you make a mistake like that!!!! 🤬
We all have our flaws, looking like my one finally revealed 😭😭😭

Statistically he should transform 68.359375% of the time (4 turns of unspent energy) or 76.26953125% (5 turns of unspent energy).
We can't have all the season cards. Groot it's much more competitive this Bruce so I have to skip him now and hope to see him in caches next year
Ahh he will be back around. I probably won't use him even when I pull him while going for a good card.
Yeah, spoilers for next weeks video but I'm going HARD on Rocket & Groot.
@rezsnapper Its good in this 2099 play 1 dude curve deck.
What you mean "we cant" ?

I will snap, I need high evo and ravonna so I will use at minimum 2 keys and if possible 3
Such a great week for you! Enjoy your new cards!
If you’re missing both, it’s a non-brainer
Skippity dippity do! Definitely an interesting card, absolutely not worth one of my keys.
Certainly not worth risking four keys for.

Keeping my keys for dark avengers season. Only got 2 right now.

Nickname for Bruce Banner in Snap -- Ticked-Off Time bomb!
Oh my god, you've cracked it.
I've gotten bad and mediocre cards before because I thought they were fun, then the next one was actually good and I had no keys left, never again.
Anyone knows if the hulk token gets the effect from high evo?
I do know the answer. It does not unfortunately.
High Evolutionary unlocks the abilities of the cards in your deck and hand. The Hulk token generated by Bruce Banner doesn't exist at the point that High Evolutionary triggers.
@rezsnapper makes sense tnx for the exp dude
My take is he’s a snap for early stage collection players but a skip for late stage collection players.
Dude where you drunk when you recorded this? Cracking me up bro! Keep up the good work! Enjoy your snap analysis each week.
Hahaha, at first I tried to keep the stranger parts of my personality at bay, but they've been seeping out....
The candle is called a Menorah
Skipping all until 2k tokens are rewarded for bad luck (jan14)
Oh dang this is actually a good strat.
I didn't understand the meadow bit.
But i liked it?!
3 E or more power for 12 power.
Pass
My play will be turn 1 Nico to dupe Bruce banner. Then 2 play Bruce then turn 3 play Frigga now turn 4 play 2 Bruce banners
But you don’t go with energy unspent even once
@@hihowareya8729He will Gamble on turn 5 and 6 to possibly have 4 hulks
And then what?
@@villegzev9651 and then pray I guess lol
Then none of them transform😂
🤣The moment you realise you don't know the name of the Christmas candles 🤣 (me neither!)
Think I just stick to playing red hulk and mobius against the she hulks :)
Not a High Evo player, and i don't wanna float energy, easy skip for me.
too random need more skill based play. thanks for the video ol cack
An interesting card but 1 of Hulk's best decks won't work with it. So this is a pass for me.

@@zombiegoatt4282 that sounds fun tbh😅
Without question he is a snap
Cant see bruce banner being any good at all, red guardian turn 3 literally kills him off, as soon as your opponent sees bruce hes dropping guardian.
Play Hood turn 1
Danger room and Bruce are not comparable. Danger room has a 75% success rate, 25% fail rate. Bruce has a 25% success rate, 75% fail rate.
Aye exactly as I said in the video to be fair. I said to consider when you play into Danger Room, how often it ticks.
This is an absolute pass
15% is more balanced
5% is better
