I love how instead of using classing bowser sprite which is hard to make scary you sort of mutated him to look like his live action counterpart from the first Mario movie with a fuse of modern day bowser. HE ACTUALLY LOOKS SCARY AND I LOVE IT!
Honestly the thing i like about this is ink bowsers design i like how it isnt just a pallete changed bowser this feels unique and gives off abit of a offsetting vibe
i liks how despite how menacing Ink!Bowser looks, his icon is still very goofy, not to mention mario's notes are in the wrong order, up and down are switched. 😭
This art and cutscene as well that composition of scene In general looks really good, I would love to see the full version and praying that it stills in that creepy peak vibe and don't change to PNG memes
There should've been a mario: the music box song and I have an idea for it. You battle against mario possessed by Alice a sorta evil ghost who possesses mario and due to her obsessive love for a person named Riba she kills a lot of people related to her and who live in her mansion to love forever with him and ended up creating a curse while being murdered by Riba which would be trapped in a music box which mario would open and in one of the endings of the remaster exclusively this curse burns the mushroom kingdom if you refuse to save mario from full possesion. You can tell that Alice is in control when mario has solid green pupils and she usually attacks luigi or Riba the 2 other playable characters(you alternate throughout the game) and tries to stab them with a knife. I chose this one as I think it is arguably the most influential mario horror fangame.
