I struggle with mental illnesses: ADHD, generalized anxiety and major depressive disorder. Gotta say, I haven't felt genuine peace in YEARS since praying the Rosary. I'm taking it slowly though, as to not turn it into something I feel forced to do, but rather as something I WANT to do. I feel closer to God, and I love it. In fact, the story behind my specific Rosary is quite a "I know it was you God" moment❤️. 1 hour away from where I live there's an art school I'm going to start attending to next month. I just went there to receive info about what documents I must give to get started and whatnot. Across from that school, there's an old Cathedral built by Franciscans in the 1500s. I hadn't set one foot in any Church since 2014, so I said: let's give it a try and explore a little. There was a man there selling Saints and other stuff. I was drawn to a small St. Rita statue, which ultimately I took home. The man and I started talking, he asked me why St. Rita? I said I really don't know. I've just recently decided to return to Christ, he replied with a smile and said sometimes Saints are the ones who choose us. He told me how there was a problem involving that particular Saint that it was just not possible to sell it until that day. Anyway, he then started talking about his life. Extremely similar to mine: Suicidal, feelings of spiritual desolation as if being abandoned by God, and even something very specific, something I was FORCED to be part of when I was a kid: Santería (which sadly involved animal sacrifice and semi vampirism. Truly traumatizing. He was also pretty damaged by that sick cult as well). He said all that without me ever telling him my story first. His voice was also extremely soothing, and I even thought he was a priest. I was mesmerized. Also, he wouldn't stop giving me stuff for free, including my Rosary. He added a roses fragance so that everytime I pray I could feel closer to our Holy Mother. It's like I was meant to be at that place that day. God will always be there for you when you reach out. Jesus Christ of Nazareth✝️❤️ fixes the broken and makes us whole again, even when all feels and looks lost.

@@diamondpearl4364 hi there! sorry for the super late response, i never saw this reply! i'd say that, at the beginning of my conversion (around the age of 14 to 15), i tried to pray at least one a day, but some days i would try to pray at 4. nowadays, as i've done more and more research into the traditions of the Church and the faith, i try to pray the 3 original sets of mysteries as best as i can! i have issues with my knees (even though i'm only 20, haha) so i typically still do it sitting, or when walking somewhere. hope this helps! may the Lord be with you, and may Our Lady keep you!
Mother Mary protected my mom 8 years ago when she was on life support and a miracle happened. She was suppose to have a heart surgery and the illness disappeared hours after I prayed to Mother Mary. I prayed for protection and for whatever was God’s will. Mysteriously my mom was better and didn’t need the surgery. And then in 2022 Mother Mary wrapped her and kept her safe as she was passing. The angels came and walked with my mom as she travelled to the light. I felt it and saw the change in my mom’s face colouring as we prayed with the priest during her last rites. Her colour changed when the angels walked with her during the prayer. It was so beautiful. I envisioned the angels and her colour in her face changed from blue to a beautiful pink tone. She looked so peaceful. I still cry to this day for my mom but I know she’s at peace and happy where she is. God bless you.
I started a 54 day Rosary Novena on October 4th, praying for Mother Mary's intercession to conceive a child. I recieved a beautiful Miraculous Medal from my husband two weeks ago, I started wearing it on the first day of the Novena. Please pray for us. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.🌹 Everything is possible with God, Jesus I Trust in You🙏
My wife and I suffered from infertility and we prayed and prayed and prayed for years. I held my wife who wept on the bathroom floor after another negative pregnancy tests and several miscarriages. One day God answered and gave us a beautiful little girl. He IS listening. Cling to him no matter how bad the pain gets. He will always answer his children cries. ❤ Prayers from Wisconsin. ❤

I prayed the rosary 10 years ago when my dad had prostrate cancer. He made a full recovery and is still kicking at 89 years old. I know I should pray it every day. I'm thinking about praying it again because there's a woman I love at Church and I know she is a gift to me from God. I will pray that God guides her to me in love and she realizes I am a gift to her from God.
I’m a minor, and I’ll be flying as an unaccompanied minor on a flight to another state. My father gave me a rosary to pray with and this quite really helps. Thank you!!

Thanks to my lovely girlfriend I have rediscovered my faith. I purchased a rosary a while ago, but was wondering how to properly pray it. This instructional video was very clear and has re-sparked my desire to ask for the protection that both God and Mary want to give, but I don't feel that I deserve.

I am currently suffering from addiction. I was baptized catholic and raised as such till I was about twelve. Then we fell away as a family and most went to different faiths. I however have been agnostic?? No faith in any higher power. My head gets in my way. But I’ve always been searching. I’ve been to many many different types of churches and faiths. I WANT to have and practice a faith. I always seem to be the most comfortable in and around Catholicism. And strangely I have always collected rosaries 😮😳😳. In the next couple of months I’m going to go cold turkey and I’m trying to learn my rosary now so I have him to guide me through with the help of our mother. I was wondering if anyone else used their rosary in such a way
@thedingo8833 I hope you are making good progress. I can recommend on occasions, if you just sit quietly with the rosary in your hand and just concentrate on your heartbeat, if helps just to recentre yourself and strengthens you on your journey. And find a parish priest you click with and chat about your hopes and fears, he will help you, and he's used to dealing with human frailties, but he will guide you. Bless you on your journey with God.

I’m so happy you came on my feed . I’m a practicing Catholic a Eucharistic minister and a lector at my parish . Our parish just had a mission and father pio mandato did it he was selling his mothers book about padre pio she was very close to him . I never realized how much he loved the rosary so after reading the book I decided to pray the rosary every single day and I feel so amazing in doing so . Also someone told me once that the mother rules if you want to get to Jesus you have to go to his mother first Ty for all you do happy Blessings 📿🙏🏻📿🙏🏻

Hello Heather, it's me again. :) rosary is a big help in my mothering, too. When I was still nursing my 2nd child, he keeps nursing for a very long time and would not sleep at all. He keeps on tumbling and walking in the bed and most of the time steps on my hair that makes me shout due to pain and anger. My husband was always startled everytime I scream. Then I started praying the rosary while nursing my child and it really helped me scream less and less. Even if he steps on my hair, I don't shout or get angry anymore. I always think that if I shout or get angry, the merit of praying the rosary will be useless. And now, I don't shout or get angry at my kids as before. Thank God, thank Mama Mary.
I am First Presbyterian but I have a rosary on my bedpost I feel it keeps me safe at night and I have crucifixes hanging through the house To me reminds me of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for my sins. I also have a Virgin Mary that belong to a dear sweet old friend of mine she was Catholic and when she died I got it so I keep that for good luck.

I just don’t pray as much as I should be. After the lost of my daughter I continue to believe but I just let go of doing my prayers again my whole life has been so difficult to come back to pray the rosary but I’m in the lifetime right now that I need to go back in his mother, Mary to please help me that’s a mother of three kids is becoming very hard to try to understand why he took one and gave me three more. This month, I felt moved to pray the full 15 decades each day for this special month and I'm having the most beautiful furthering conversion on my understanding of her role and just loving and appreciating her 'yes.' I feel like being able to love her is such a sign of healed brokenness from the fall. I see a lot of that in you and you're simple acceptance of the faith. My mother wore a gold miraculous medal for a long time. I've actually been carrying a rosary off and on since I was in high school. One of my teachers is Catholic and I have been raised Protestant all my life but I have found myself being drawn to the Catholic Church since high school. And at the first chance I get I intend to switch over. Being unable to drive kind of makes it hard to get to a monastary, lol.
Thank you for teaching this. I was raised as a catholic, had the holy communion and confirmation but never heard about how to pray the rosary. A Hail Mary - yes Our Father, yes too, but the rest? Nowadays I'm not catholic anymore, but I still believe in God (my faith now is even stronger than back then). So I'm curious about my "roots"

I have a rosary that was gifted to me by a friend from the Lutheran synagogue i use to go to before moving so i never had the chance to learn it so your video pretty much help, but im gonna be replacing hail Mary with its pretence version out of respect.
I'm a new Catholic and still learning the Rosary. I still rely on a Rosary pamphlet or an app on my phone to guide me through the Rosary, especially the mysteries. Is that how most people do it? One day, I'd love to be able to pray the Rosary without the pamphlet or my phone since they can be distracting. That said, I want to properly meditate on the mysteries and not just race through the Hail Mary's mindlessly. Thank you for the video!
The rosary is ALWAYS said clockwise. Just like you read, from left to right.😊 the medal facing you, the 1st bead at the left is where you begin. They are trying their best to change the order to undo it. Please be aware. 🕊️📿🌹

I’m so happy you came on my feed . I’m a practicing Catholic a Eucharistic minister and a lector at my parish . Our parish just had a mission and father pio mandato did it he was selling his mothers book about padre pio she was very close to him . I never realized how much he loved the rosary so after reading the book I decided to pray the rosary every single day and I feel so amazing in doing so . Also someone told me once that the mother rules if you want to get to Jesus you have to go to his mother first Ty for all you do happy Blessings 📿🙏🏻📿🙏🏻

Hello Heather, it's me again. :) rosary is a big help in my mothering, too. When I was still nursing my 2nd child, he keeps nursing for a very long time and would not sleep at all. He keeps on tumbling and walking in the bed and most of the time steps on my hair that makes me shout due to pain and anger. My husband was always startled everytime I scream. Then I started praying the rosary while nursing my child and it really helped me scream less and less. Even if he steps on my hair, I don't shout or get angry anymore. I always think that if I shout or get angry, the merit of praying the rosary will be useless. And now, I don't shout or get angry at my kids as before. Thank God, thank Mama Mary.

I am First Presbyterian but I have a rosary on my bedpost I feel it keeps me safe at night and I have crucifixes hanging through the house To me reminds me of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for my sins. I also have a Virgin Mary that belong to a dear sweet old friend of mine she was Catholic and when she died I got it so I keep that for good luck.

I just don’t pray as much as I should be. After the lost of my daughter I continue to believe but I just let go of doing my prayers again my whole life has been so difficult to come back to pray the rosary but I’m in the lifetime right now that I need to go back in his mother, Mary to please help me that’s a mother of three kids is becoming very hard to try to understand why he took one and gave me three more. You're videos were very helpful in m reversion earlier this year, though I've really struggled with Mary. This month, I felt moved to pray the full 15 decades each day for this special month and I'm having the most beautiful furthering conversion on my understanding of her role and just loving and appreciating her 'yes.' I feel like being able to love her is such a sign of healed brokenness from the fall. I see a lot of that in you and you're simple acceptance of the faith. My mother wore a gold miraculous medal for a long time. I've actually been carrying a rosary off and on since I was in high school. One of my teachers is Catholic and I have been raised Protestant all my life but I have found myself being drawn to the Catholic Church since high school. And at the first chance I get I intend to switch over. Being unable to drive kind of makes it hard to get to a monastary, lol.
Thank you for teaching this. I was raised as a catholic, had the holy communion and confirmation but never heard about how to pray the rosary. A Hail Mary - yes Our Father, yes too, but the rest? Nowadays I'm not catholic anymore, but I still believe in God (my faith now is even stronger than back then). So I'm curious about my "roots"

I have a rosary that was gifted to me by a friend from the Lutheran synagogue i use to go to before moving so i never had the chance to learn it so your video pretty much help, but im gonna be replacing hail Mary with its pretence version out of respect.

I'm a new Catholic and still learning the Rosary. I still rely on a Rosary pamphlet or an app on my phone to guide me through the Rosary, especially the mysteries. Is that how most people do it? One day, I'd love to be able to pray the Rosary without the pamphlet or my phone since they can be distracting. That said, I want to properly meditate on the mysteries and not just race through the Hail Mary's mindlessly. Thank you for the video!

The rosary is ALWAYS said clockwise. Just like you read, from left to right.😊 the medal facing you, the 1st bead at the left is where you begin. They are trying their best to change the order to undo it. Please be aware. 🕊️📿🌹
