I was praying my Rosary as I sat in a beautiful park that has a lagoon, flower beds, hostas, and a large fountain. As I sat there, a squirrel jumped down from a tree startling me. I broke my Rosary into 3 pieces as I jumped up from the park bench. The Rosary had caught not only on the bench arm but the seat slats on the bench. That particular Rosary is very special as it was given an added blessing in Medjugorje by Our Lady. I picked up the pieces and took it to a jeweler who carefully put it all back together for me. When I asked him the fee for the reepair, he handed the Rosary to me, smiled and said, "There is no charge". Many years ago, 1956 to be exact, I dropped my chalk statue of Our Lady of Grace. (I was trying to set up a May crowning like i saw at school) It broke in 3 pieces. I remember sobbing, heart broken, over the broken statue that my Godparents had given me. My mom took the pieces and glued them with yucky looking orange/brown glue. When the statue was all put together, she put something over the glue, and no one could ever tell it was broken in the first place. Have a blessed day!
Medjugorje is a proven fraud. Priests have been designated to bless religious objects.
I am a Rosary apostle and I go to schools. To Pray the rosary with the children very often the children handle to me a broken rosary. I bring it home with a thread and a needle I fix them and then I returned them back to the children you just have to be patient and learn to be creative

My rosary has been broken for months but yesterday I fixed it by using a guitar string to pull the chord through the cross ....I was so happy I said the joyful sorrowful and glorious mysteries. Tonight I did the same and then I started scrolling and came on this video it can't be coincidence...hail Mary full of grace 🙏🙏🙏
If it's anything like all the rosaries I've ever owned, the flimsy links they deliberately build them with will soon break again. Once they break, they'll keep on breaking sooner and sooner.
Yes I do have some old broken rosaries of wood. Truly I find it difficult to put them in the bin. Whenever I see them I will touch and ask myself what do I do with this. They have been replaced anyway. Thank you for the divine direction. Amen.
I do have some broken wood ,metal & plastic rosaries, I kept them on the drawers. Now that I know how to properly dispose them, I shall put them all together & bury it with respect at the side of our house. Thank u.
When I have a broken rosary, I get it repaired. For broken holy statues I carry out restoration work on it and repaint them so we can continue to use it; so much so the good Lord has given me the grace to help other people restore their statues too. 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻
I broke an old old rosary that belong to my grandmother. I very delicately because the wires were very thin and fragile worked to restore it, and I did using nothing else, but the rosary and the little wire that had broken. all rosaries in our family when they’re not being used by the person anymore come to me. In fact, my sister-in-law said when you die, I get your rosary collection.

I have a rosary that was given to me by my godmother at my first Holy Communion, over 60 yrs ago. First, the corpus on the cross became loose and movable, but never came off. Eventually, though, a portion of the chain broke & lost. I have kept the rosary, because it means a lot to me, and hope to be buried with it, probably in my pocket, and a separate one in my hands. Please let me know if this is all acceptable. I wish I knew where the broken piece of this rosary is. Maybe I should put St. Anthony on the case?

I bury my palms and plant flowers ; the broken rosaries I fix them and have them re-Blessed and send to missionaries. Holy water to Bless my self daily and friends who come visit.

Yes I have broken rosaries, but I've fixed them. I keep using them and intend to keep on using them until they're broken beyond repair, and at which time I'll give them to my Cathedral to properly dispose of for new creations.

Every rosary I've ever bought falls apart in no time. My Catholic book store stated they are in business to make a profit. To survive like any other business. They don't much care about the quality of rosaries, no matter how much you spend. They offer to fix them but they fall apart again in no time. So you have to keep spending $50 to $100 each time. They tell you to bury blessed objects but many or most parishioners live in big city apartment buildings. They'll evict you if you start digging up the building lot (which is generally all concrete anyway or start a fire. A lot of seniors, like myself, no longer own a car either so they can't drive umpteen miles and bury them wherever you can find public land.
I was really amazed at the wonderful message about broken rosaries,l have a few,l was wondering what to do with it,l stitch it and keep it under my pillow,or my son's pillow,l keep it safe in my jewel box,holy pictures,l burn some of them, thank you and God bless for the correct information.
I used the rosary beads to make earrings n bracelet n wore them instead of keeping in the church
Weak up Word ,Jesus Christ is coming, no candles or rosery etc....will save anyone, No Pope of Rome is a savior, but giving ourselves to God true prayers, love,compassion daily Bible study, forgiving, pray for the enemies, keep the real Sabbath holy, confess our sins directly to God ,not any earthly priest. It is written in the Bible.
What about a broken plastic rosary? They can't decompose. They can't be burned. Need guidance.

An all too simple and almost unnecessary question to ask.. Keep it in an altar together with other blessed items . If a rosary is broken.. set it aside and buy a new one . Religious images are likewise to be kept in an altar at home.. there is nothing disrespectful in placing damaged blessed items aside for safe keeping.. DONT THROW IT AWAY.. even blessed palm during Palm Sunday should be burn and not discarded like garbage ..

Where does it say in the BIBLE to use rosary beads for pray. Also you pray to Jesus not through Mary. I pray that God Almighty opens your spiritual eye's ( whoever, is reading this) We pray directly to Jesus not to any saints, & don't confess your sins to any pope or father. ( Matthew 23:9) Do not call anyone father, because there is only one Father who is in Heaven. If people would read their BIBLE & not just listen to any priest . We confess our sins to our Heavenly Father ( not to any priest or pope) they are sinners just like everyone else. God Almighty who is without sin. HE IS SINLESS.
I have a wooden Rosary. It broke. I fixed it with tape. Don't want to get rid of it as it is my mothers. R.l.P. 🙏It is ok to continue usuing it. Please let me know. I use it always. Hopefully i can. 🙏
I already knew to burn Palm leaves which I often did at home or returned them to church when I could. I have a broken rosary now that I'm carrying in my coat pocket until I can pay for it to be repaired by a local jeweler near the church I attend Mass at. Thanks for the video. As for drinking holy water, my friend and I went into church one hot afternoon to pray and on the way out, he suggested to me that we get a drink of holy water since we were so thirsty. I asked him if he thought it was okay and he assented and so I did drink a small amount from a bottle that was provided for carrying some home. We were preteens at the time so I guess we could have been forgiven by God for the error. I knew a couple from another church I was attending later in my life who confessed to me that they drank holy water daily and said they had begun to feel healthier in their bodies. Since I knew they were not informed about church sacred objects, I tried to gently remind them that they weren't supposed to be drinking holy water but I doubt that deterred them from the practice. Father complained to me in a conversation about this couple that they often lit too many candles but didn't put money in to defray the cost of lighting them. I knew this couple was low on funds so I myself put some money in for them occasionally. Again, thanks for the video. I'll be sharing it. 😊
I knew about the palms, my mother-in-law would burn them if a bad storm came. I was at a shrine praying the rosary, when it started to descinerate in my hands, so I told my sister-in -law that I would use my fingers & it stopped falling part. Brought it home & yes it did go into a drawer. Thank you for all the information. Never heard of any of the other things you mentioned.

I have held on to rosaries until they can be lovingly repaired. Their blessing is not lost. We should have Holy water and blessed candles at home to aid us spiritually, and to ward off evil in dark times, which are approaching. Ask you priest to guide and prepare (bless) these items for you - in advance of need.

I like and enjoy holding the crucifix on my rosary but one of my rosary's crucifix broke off when i was watering the garden without knowing, i only came to know afterwards. I tried looking for it but couldn't find it.i have kept the remaining part up to now coz i treasure even the remains hoping to find another crucifix to connect to the remains.

Was not surprised, hence why i never disposed of them but now i will have my priest take care of them. Question? i assume you can but i want to be sure..is it ok to be burried with them? Question, im still using my old rosary even 3 beeds were already missing it is made up of small wooden beeds. I just continue resitting or praying 10 Hail Mary when praying the rosary. Can i still use it untill i can afford to buy new one?
I have few broken rosaries, most of them are made of wires that’s why I was able to reconnect them by using staple wires. Hope this helps to anyone.😅
I noticed my crucifix was missing from my rosery. I ordered a replacement right away but when I returned to work I found it in a random resident's room.
I thought it's a possibility that a broken rosary is something that the devil maybe could done base of anger towards the person who prays. But now I think bcse of what exorcists say that the sound of the rosary when someone pick up the rosary, I think it was the devil can't stand that sound and calls us bitches.

My rosary's crucifix fell off. My rosary isnt blessed so i just replaced the old polyester cord with paracord.
who cares? the rosary is NOT from the bible, it is a man-made item by the roman catholic church with no meaning.
If you break a rosary, just bin it and don't buy another it will save you from wasting money.

The rosary made of a rope with plastic is strong. But when made of other as in silver look a like than chances they breake.

My experience in the rosary beadd is when someone sits beside me and the rosary was moving like it is warning me something. I immediately move away from that person.And one time I pray the rosary in the train and upon starting tobsay I believe then I heard someone telling me to STOP! I was the only passenger on that coach because it was midnight already and am way to adoration. So now if I feel something weird ,I always hold a rosary whether broken or not and start to pray the Creed
