Hey Micha, yet another awesome video, thanks for the great tips! I'm a professional translator and proofreader and I noticed a few spelling mistakes on your website, just thought I'd let you know. Otherwise it looks awesome, keep up the great work!
If it might help, i have seen it a lot, i think its also because those are agonist and antagonist pair, so tehy kinda complement each other, if you strength one it sthrengthens the other inderectly and as when you are pushing you are not using your back too much, if you train them simultaneously while you use one in one exercise, the other group can rest and then you can gain some time of training and improve through direct and indirect vias
Kannst du ein Guide dazu machen wie man mit Calisthenics anfängt oder mir hier einfach ein paar Tipps geben ? Würde es ziemlich feiern :D Mal so am Rande sehr gute Videos die du da machst Grüße aus Düsseldorf
Great vid :), what do you think about doing ONLY pullups /weighted pullups on training. My goal is to do OAP and front lever.I can do 17 bodyweight pullups right now.
Hello Micha, nice video. I have question on you, what do you think about first increase reps for example 5x8, 5x9 ... to 5x12 and then increase weight and start again on 5x8 and continue this way. Is this good way a progression or doing for example 5x8 and only increase weights? Thank you for possible answer. Greetings from CZE
Calisthenics 2.0 its like, when you dont train couting reps and sets, how can you mesure when you are able to introduce wheights, or add more wheights.
Hey micha you calculate your macros daily? And you have bulk and cut periods or you practice intuitive eating and eat most of the time healthy food.Another great video 😍😍
Calisthenics 2.0 Thank's, i see a lot of person who practice bodybuilding and have long bulk periods and very strict cut, but i think in calistehnics the more leaner you are, the better it is for your training
At the beginning of your cycle you might can add more than 1kg, the longer you do it, the less you can increment. In the most gyms smallest increment is 2.5kg so I always used this.
How much weight do you actually use though for your respective body weight? This is such an urgent point which is missing from all the videos I’ve been watching on weighted cali
We have a calculator for this on our website. The additional weight you can used is based on your strength level. This can be quantified with your one rep max in a weighted lift. So depending on the rep range you want to train, you use a % of this 1rm
I am 17 , about 160 lbs heavy and I can do about 6 to 7 pull ups with 70 pounds. The thing that I am worried about is that I am damaging my joints, since they are not fully developped yet. So should I train that heavy at such a young age?
@@elicohen8156 It's just a matter of overall muscle/WO load. Ofc it's easier to increase the number of 5-5-5 to 6-6-6. However you're getting much more load with 5 sets then if you were doing only 3 sets with increased reps
@@elicohen8156 Np, bro. Just to give you more of an idea - basically, for purposes of hypertrophy you want to have each muscle group trained between 10-20 sets of about 6 to 12 reps with a decent to high amount of effort per week. If you want to know more about the basics I really recomend you Jeff Nippard or Flow Hight Performance. Keep at it!
The holy weighted calis channel of youtube 🙏
Stalin the Slav hahaha thanks bro
Sick channel how could you not have 1 million subs yet?
Filip F haha 1million would be nice, but nothing what I can plan 😁

This channel is spectacular
Solid information, thanks buddy, much needed for the calisthenics industry to get educated by the pros
another essential video, stuffed with useful informations, thank you Micha ! I'll use these. :)
Please can you do a video on starting Calisthenics, basics for complete beginners - something to follow to build a foundation? That would be great :D
Hey! That is not my main target group so probably I will go for more advanced stuff!
@@MichaSchulz Hey, that's ok! I only ask because you have results so I thought you'd be a good person to ask haha
Ive started your method for increasing reps!
when i work my way up to your program, im jumping on it most def! dope content! :D
aljopopov thanks bro! Can’t wait to see your progress in the program
Nice channel so far^^^ keep it up
Great job micha ! Thumbs up
Hey Bro do a video how train shoulders in calisthenics , i have some problems with this. Great channel!!
Daniel Gonçalves I will put it on the list 👌🏻
Normal pushups and dips kinda work shoulders but the pushups that are kinda like a downward dogs work them really well
small channel but fantastic information, keep going!
How often should you train weighted calisthenics??
I've been waiting for this

Great videos bro
I work full body with 3 set, my objectif is 15 reps and after i change the weight.
Great video man
Better adding weight to go on low reps like 4-5,you gain a shit ton of strength and explosivness transfert on the basic moves without weights
Giovanni Ciancaglini can’t be said in general, but for some purpose makes definitely sense
5 heavy reps build muscle?
Bless you
why do not you separate your chest and back in your training, and you train in one day? Thx for answer
Lee Apolo so I can have more volume per week, because I can train weighted than 2x per week.

How to program the week of training?
good content bro, keep motivating us💪..so for example when we hit 5x8 good form pullups with 20kg-->25kg and so on?
Petar Kovačević test it. Sometimes 5kg id realistic sometimes you need to go for 2.5kg. No general rules for this 😁
Great vid :), what do you think about doing ONLY pullups /weighted pullups on training. My goal is to do OAP and front lever.I can do 17 bodyweight pullups right now.
If you want oap and front lever I think it's dumb to only do pull ups.
Great content

Hey, i see that loads of guys do not train reps e sets, can you recommend something for this sort of train
bidu campos can you specify your question? I don’t really understand

Yo bro due to the corona virus i can't go to the gym i can do 8 pull ups 10 dips and 15 push ups should i add weight slowly or not?
Handstand or oap tutorial next?
Sacciuiguai I will put it on the list 💪🏻
Hey micha you calculate your macros daily? And you have bulk and cut periods or you practice intuitive eating and eat most of the time healthy food.Another great video 😍😍
Iulian Chivu definetly last point. Like as it fits your macros, 80% clean, 20% unclean 😁

How about progressive overload in a 5x5 scheme for dips and pullups ? Like adding 1kg or even 0.5 kg every session ?
K177 i have been using that method, and I can say it does work (for me) i went from 12kg Ring Dips to 20kg. And from 23kg Pull ups o 30kg in 4 weeks
At the beginning of your cycle you might can add more than 1kg, the longer you do it, the less you can increment. In the most gyms smallest increment is 2.5kg so I always used this.
@@MichaSchulz yes my gym has 2.5 kg how many kg i must add per workout now?
Hi what about rest time between reps ?
Hey! This is something really subjective. Take the rest you need. No need to rush through a workout

Jan Akermann you answered your own question, if you know your joints are not developed and you are damaging them then don’t do it

Probably the first time I've seen someone sneeze on youtube

My friend if i do pistol squats with 20 kilos how much squat with two legs and i will have the same musle growing with weighted pistols?
Chris Ksanth hey bro, you will need to test that. You can grow big legs with pistols as well as with regular back/frontsquats.
isn't it more easy training at 3 sets? like it's easier to increase 5-5-5 to 6-6-6 than 5-5-5-5-5 to 6-6-6-6-6 lol
I'd say that way you're not having much load in the workout, which is worse in long-term results
@@BlackiJ11 elaborate please.
