- Well today is an exciting day! We'll be starting my first ever playthrough of Far Cry 3! This game seems to be a fan favorite, so it made sense to go ahead and give it a shot! This gameplay is on PC and played at 4k quality so hopefully it looks good for you guys! There were so many awesome suggestions on the last RDR2 video that i've written down for the future. NEW GAME NEW GAME NEW GAME Due to copyright, I had to alter the beginning song but it was originally Paper Planes by M.I.A in case anyone was confused. Seems like the rest of the music is fine, thankfully. I'm beyond excited to be playing this with you all and so far i'm having so much fun in this world! As always, tips are appreciated! Idk how you felt about 6, I've haven't played but couple hours of it..
But I will say 3, 4, and 5 are all great and worth playing imo..
I can't imagine going on vacation and being taken hostage. As a former US Army Paratrooper that has deployed to Iraq; I have a strict "no travel to hostile countries for vacation" rule.😊 Not to mention I love to snowmobile; so my vacations are planned around when/where the snow is deepest.
Also I dont like being hot and sweaty. So unless your vacation takes you to crowded beaches where there is water to stay cool. You can't remove enough clothes to be comfortable; but can always bundle up enough to stay warm in the snow.😊

Michael Mando's acting as Vaas is objectively the best part of this game. If you've ever seen Better Call Saul you may recognize him as Nacho.
and the first spideman in the after scene credits the guy in the prison in homecoming

@@Helldog6 I can agree with that except for the intro. The vaas intro (transition to cellphone video was pretty dope) but The Seed intro was one of the very few game intros I think ever gave me chills. I feel like I'm saying intro too much lol

What characters are well written in this game?. Vaas isn't. People like him because the actor did a good job. He's one dimension though. The player character and his friends are dull. 4 and 5 have better written npc's.

@@tak-mv8qj I loved 6. Objective wise it was repetitive since it wasn't a mission to misson type game. Plus the other side characters were very weak and forgetable(specialist are pretty kwl). But The villans were amazing. 6 had better side character, 5 had better villans

Jason is better than that in my opinion,and the thing that hurts the most is that The whole far cry 4 game setting is based on my country India, probably in the upper Himalayas region.
Now,while they did do a good job showcasing the setting visually and graphically,they did a very bad job with the MC.

I couldn't agree more. There are some amazing games. But this one blow me away and I consider it to be the best writing in the whole ubi-world ever. I endoyed FC4 as well. it did not have such a story. But the world was amazing and it was similar to this game with some plus content like flying..
But FC5 and 6 disappointed me so much that I don't even trust the series anymore. I hope, but don't trust them at all.
I might be more interesting in Avatar because at least it looks really nice and you can do a bit more stuff and it's not a flat map like it is in FC6. But FC3 is and will always be one of those gem's to me!

@@gabszzI must give FC5 another try I guess. I really did not like the game. I was so disappointed when I got to play it. It was mainly because you can customize your character and he barely talked. I need main protagonist. I remember I was so pissed when I tried to talk to somebody and all there was was their responsee and I heard nothing from me. Might not be a bad game. Surrounding was nice. But there were some changes I really did not like while playing. Physics of the game and much more that I had to stop after like 12 hours. AC Revelations is still AC2 just like Brotherhood. It's still under it. I think of AC2 as a whole. So I do agree. Origins was not bad eightr in my opinion. I had great time playing it and story was not that bad at all. But Odysey has such a bad story that after 100+ hours in the game I did not care about the final income. Haha. Fun to play. I like the srrounding and some side characters. But the story as whole is such a trash. I did not play Valhalla yet. But from what I heard and seen. I think I will happily past this one for now. AC unity had kinda great story too. At least I enjoed it. Same goes for AC Syndicate. It's story was not bad at all. Nothing in compare to the second AC, but still not bad. AC Black flag has the best and most memorable ending in my opinion. I really did enjoy the game. Alongside AC2 it's my 2nd or third favourite. Hard to pick for me. I just loved the pirate theme, music, where it was placed. Blackbeard and Edward is one of my favoure main protagonist in AC.
@@Endys22 I plan to play AC 4 again because is being a long time that I played, but I don't understand why people like AC4 so much, doesn't even feel like a AC game, feels like a pirate game. The best writing characters in AC games, are ezio altair and Desmond, they have multiple games exploring their characters, and ezio was the most charismatic character in.the AC franchise, AC2 changed the AC franchise, and brought lot of changes and improvements in gameplay that you don't see in later games, and AC revelations was the perfect ending to everything created since AC1.
2012 was under rated Farcry3, Maxpayne 3, Sleeping dogs, hitman and Spec ops the line.
You are gonna love Far Cry 3 because it has the most exquisite villains ever 😭😌🤞🏾plus you're gonna love Vaas and his iconic speech...
One of the many reasons this game is so great is the character you play as, Jason, has incredible character development.

Far Cry 6 did such a disservice to the tension when they decided to do away with these intense first person cutscenes.
I don’t remember much from that game but I definitely don’t remember it being like this! It’ll be interesting to finish this and go back to 6 to see the difference 😊
@@Skyytea it's such a shame that they butchered the game. They got Giancarlo Esposito as the main antagonist!! but they somehow managed to flop his story, a stark contrast from Vaas (played by Michael Mando) which was incredible, both are fantastic actors tbh BB and BCS!
FC6 was so boring, and had annoying protagonists. Giancarlo Esposito was the best part of it.

You playing Far Cry 3 is a pleasant surprise, easily the best out of the series! Just finished your RDR2 playthrough, what a journey it was. I know you just started this, but another game if you haven't played already that I think deserves a spot on the list is Cyberpunk, the story really surprised me with how gripping and immersive it is. I think you'd love it judging from other story based games you've played.

I guarantee you'll remember this one. I would even recommend going as far back as Far Cry Instincts: Predator, that game was a gem and I still to this day remember the first time you get to *RUN* in that game. If you know you know. *Finger guns*

DEFINITELY a banger of a game. This is like one of the first games where people really started to pay attention and praise acting performances because Vaas(Micheal Mando)stole the show! Still one of the most highly regarded gaming villains today.

It’s fun seeing Jason as a frat kid going on vacation with friends to getting captured by vass and his pirates to becoming a ruthless killer while in the midst of saving his friends. A well made script that can never be recreated again. It was fun hope you enjoy it.

I like Far Cry 3 but I love Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Rex Power Colt is the best Far Cry protagonist just zero completion. Personal feeling toward the base Far Cry 3 is that it's overrated when it comes to it's story and characters. It's okay but Vaas carries the whole game and I just could never stand Jason or his friends but the gameplay and missions are fun. Just give us Blood Dragon 2 already :(
Jason's journey from beginning to end is one of my faverioute descents of any character. The game directly plays on how much people you kill and content you do in synergy to how far jason has fallen into becoming a psychopath. It uses the gameplay loop for more than just entertainment. It uses it to justify WHY jason has lost his humanity over time. Also, the friends and him are supposed to be annoying. It's to show they were careless and childish when they arrived and to use his friends at the end of the game to show the massive difference between the jason at the end vs. who he once was. It's why it's the ending of the game. Because jason realises by seeing his friends, how much the island changed him.

I am a huge farcry 3 fan I have completed this game more than 35 times ....It really feels good when someone trys this masterpiece even after many years of its release . I loved watching you play this masterpiece keep it up ...love from India.

I spent 40+ hours playing first time but definitely it would take at least 15 hours to beat even again

Maaan this game is so nostalgic for me, I remember playing this when i was in a freshman I believe in high school when it came out and i still had my 360, i still felt like a kid playing the story and being so hooked into it and putting countless hours into it, that exp was so vivid to me because it was prime gaming at that time, when someone talks about far cry 3 i instantly remember when i first played it and the memories i had with that game and takes me back to being that freshman high schooler again, was such a long time ago but the feeling remains and the memory stays 😢

I've played Far Cry 4, 5, and 6, but Far Cry 3 is truly a masterpiece. The character of Vaas makes the storyline incredibly compelling and intense.
The tropical setting: A+
The Villain Vaas: A+
The music: A+ (it gives me chills all the time)
Love the game. You are in for a premium ride.
Unfortunately, it falls off in the second half after a certain thing that happens in the middle of the game. But it's still my favorite Far Cry game by far.

One of my favorite games! Before this formula was done to death by Ubisoft, when it was fresh.
Vaas is also a brilliant antagonist/villain that’s brilliantly acted by Michael Mando who went on to play another favorite character of mine in Better Call Saul. He’s just really well written and realized. I envy you getting to experience FC3 for the first time.

Hey Sky I'm so excited for this series...it's a great game in the whole franchise....anyways if you want to play another game I would recommend Cyberpunk 2077 including it's expansion Phantom Liberty....it has got great story, gameplay, characters, etc....would love to watch you play Cyberpunk...Lots of love from Mumbai, India❤

You should try Witcher 3. It's an amazing game and definitely in my top 3. Nonetheless, Far Cry is also very good, but not as good as Witcher 3 and RDR2 😅
I played Witcher 3 on stream last year and sadly didn’t save the footage anywhere. I still have both DLC’s to complete thankfully 😊

This game blew everyone's mind when it came out in 2012. I recommend doing all the outposts, hunting, and wanted missions.
This game is one of the best at showcasing the protagonist's transition from a tourist to a trained killer, which very few games do well.

Far Cry 3 has such a good intro. It does a fantastic job of introducing you to the world and letting you know what kind of place you're in.

Great game this, yet a real mixed bag. Where exactly is this place? Cassowaries are native to the tropical rainforests of Northern Australia, while Komodo dragons are found only on the island of Komodo in Indonesia. Also, it's easy to tell the good guys from the bad guys when you hear them. The good guys have South Pacific/New Zealand accents & the bad guys have Caribbean/Jamaican accents. Still, by far, the best game in the series.
