This phone didn’t get enough shine I feel like it’s forgotten about when it’s such a nice phone I’ll be honest I haven’t seen many in person at all just one and it’s a coworker he has a red one which looks great the 14 series has been my favorite so far I’m still rocking a 14pm had it for a year and a half it’s still a beast
The 14 Plus is definitely under appreciated, it’s a very solid phone. The jump from 14 Plus to the 15 Plus reminds me of the 12 Mini to 13 Mini; the following year improvements definitely make it worth the jump but the previous model is more than enough if you’d like to save some money.
Personally, I love my 14 Plus I picked mines up last year on eBay for $670.32, it lasted me very well I even wore it naked without a case the only thing I did to it was dent the left side and give it a few little tiny scars. very durable iPhone

I agree with your sentiment, if someone is buying completely new. More likely than not the 15 Plus will be a better value considering the upgrades with the small price differential.

14+ is £599 now in the UK, few hundred pounds cheaper than the 15 plus
I just bought regular iPhone 14 and I’m very happy. I did get plus first but I cancelled it because I wasn’t sure if would feel a little big in hand and I didn’t want to not be able to put in pocket.
Think I’ll keep this for 4 years and then buy a 6.3inch version next. Deff will not be buying 6.9 iPhone, unless i get a hand transplant. Lol

If you’re willing to buy new or used outside of Apple you’ll definitely find a 14 Plus for a couple hundred less.

If one wants 256 gig, stick with 14 Plus. The extra money for 15 plus 256 gig, its not worth it.

Excellent phone in every aspect
I find the camera to be trash. The standard camera still won’t focus unless it’s 9 to 12 inches away from the item or subject . That’s insane to me and I 9-% of the time to do that and also crop in with pinch to zoom. Why is that a thing!? I keep upgrading every 2 years and this never gets fixed like I hope

They need to start focusing on a 5x to 10x zoom lens along with the standard wide camera they do on iPhone non pro models instead of a wide and ultra wide.most pointless. Of do a ultra wide slightly cropped in for standard that u can back out to a ultra wide

@@vimini5378 no one is foolish enough to argue that an older model iPhone is considerably better than a newer one. We're making the comparison by considering the price difference too and there's about a $240 difference between them. So is the extra $240 worth the jump? The only major differences are the dynamic island which isn't really a deal breaker, the USB C which still slow charges your iphone slow despite allowing flexibility, the newer chip on the 15 plus which is still on par with the A14 bionic chip, and a slight difference in the battery performance. Overall, the 14 plus is still a great option to buy in 2024. You'll still receive 3-4 more years of ios updates. However, if money is not an issue then the answer is already evident
