The only locomotoive that we have is "Camila" that still works on a preserved railway, BUT from an friend from my country it says that maybe he could be in a logging station in Argentina al trought is not confirmed. If anyone can contact whit the railway please tell this information so this loco atleast can be repaired or found.

If you want another interesting story of a narrow gauge locomotive, check out the OZRR’s “Riva” (Omaha Zoo Railroad). It was built in the 1890’s in Austria for an Italian railway, then went into military service during WWI, worked on an industrial railway in Poland before being used in military service again during WWII, ending up in service on the Romanian State Railways (CFR) before being sold to a company that later donated it to the Omaha Zoo in the 1970’s iirc. It’s been operating there since.

Acquisition of major items would have been carefully recorded in any company's financial books in UK, a century or more ago. Disposals too, if sold for use or for exchange. However, those on impecunious minor systems which became derelict were robbed for spares or otherwise simply disintegrated and may well have gone for scrap in WW2, if not before.
Such financial records would have been of little import to those companies, even UK ones, so in Africa, South America and suchlike there was nobody to care about those matters . . .

There is a Roblox game called the Wedgeford Abby Light Railway and there is a reference to Lew in the form of another loco called Loo, built in 1925 by Men In Wardrobe Co, she worked on a line that was soon closed, then bought by Schieferbahn(Woodworks) which is another game, brought by ship named J Archer she was brought in Poppadon Docks then working at the Woodworks and now remains in a corner of the area hidden by trees.
Side note: Both Lew and Loo share the same design along with the rest kf the southern narrow gauge

A good story about Lew so far, would be great if the story doesn't end here.
But many standard gauge locomotives of countries in West Europe disappeared during WW2, being taken by the Germans for the efforts on the eastern front. They took them even when there was not a real use for them, like electric train sets from the Netherlands when there was no catenary using 1500V DC east of the Netherlands.
And while some locomotives and rolling stock would return after the war ended, those left on Soviet controlled territory often disappeared without a trace, being damaged during the war or used for a few years after and finally scrapped. One time during a visit of Ukraine 20 years ago I spotted a box van with the Dutch railways initials on the axle boxes, it was of a type built for Dutch railways and rebuilt to a staff van for a high ranked person after the war, now it sits in a railway museum in Kiev when I recall it right.
In 1945 it may have been listed as lost or unknown destination by the Dutch railways, it certainly was not sold to the Soviets.

this would probably be the most anticlimactic possibility, but maybe Lew was dumped off the ship it was on, hence never making it to Brazil? the ship apparently didn’t sink, and it could’ve been deliberately rolled off the boat to reduce weight in very rough seas, it was a common practice among sailors then

From what it sounds like, there was no record of the ship carrying Lew going down, so I think we can rule out being lost at sea. The ship was torpedoed of the North Cornish coast and sank. The location was lost until 2001, when divers discovered the wreck with the locomotives, which may be brought back to the surface one day for static displays. th-cam.com/video/YbhzGoNrpTM/w-d-xo.html

I will say but I think the locomotive Lew was exchanged to the Ffestiniog railway in the Cambrian mountains it’s in wales that runs from Porthmadog to other places and they changed the name and it’s close to Lew as it has the same looking looks and paint so it’s there if you want to know as it got exchanged there👍🏻

I remember someone at the L&B back in 2018 telling me they'd found evidence that Lew was probably scrapped. Annoyingly, I wasn't told anymore because the man was attending to other visitors. So I didn't get told anything else about it.
Personally, I reckon Lew was scrapped. The locomotive, is pretty large and has a long rigid wheelbase, as far as narrow gauge locomotives go. So I doubt it'd be much use on a railway in Brazil with tight turns and rough track, not to mention the maintenance.
