    Gooday we've been having problems since we moved in a few weeks ago. Still our Stove is not working, thank you I learned about a Bus Bar from your video.

    Hi, thanks for that. Where does the neutral and earth go in this set up? The wires go out the bottom of the box. Do they both attach together at the ground stake? Thanks

    Could you talk about endcaps and insulation on the busbar?

    I actually have a query. I'd be thankful if you could help me out. i have purchased a 8 way tpn mcb box. however on all 3 phase loads, only 6 are occupied by mcbs. But the busbar link which came with the packaging has 8 positions. so how should I isolate the remaining two links.?

    what about the Terminals on the circuit breakers, how many amps can they usually hold?

    Can you jumper from L1 to L2 to check if there’s an error on L2 cause of a voltage drop coming to L2.

    Did you do a video on wiring an inverter into the db board for only some plugs in the house (with a low load).?

    • @mrtechie6810
      @mrtechie6810 ปีที่แล้ว

      Terrible idea to have two feeds to the same electric panel. That is confusing, non-standard, and a huge safety hazard for all!
      The inverter should have its own separate electric box/panel.

    Very helpful. Do you have a video on how to install a double throw switch to bypass an inverter to supply the loads from the grid?

    • @travismailsa1
      @travismailsa1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both inputs into the bottom, one being mains, one being inverter supply, then top is output of either inverter at bottom, bypass middle and grid up/top

    If you are worried about future add-ons, always buy extra few MCB and install together with busbar. That's what I am doing

  • @mrtechie6810
    @mrtechie6810 ปีที่แล้ว

    What if the panel has various brands of MCBs that have different heights -- so the busbar won't reach the shorter ones?

    • @superpooper_2030
      @superpooper_2030 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should buy the same size (same width & height) to avoid loose connection of busbar. I have 4 different brands but with same size in same row

    The wires going in the 63A circuit breaker are the same section as the one going to the individual breakers, neither can hold 63A, so the main breaker needs to be changed first of all!

    When I see videos like this I often think that, while they contain good information, if inexperienced DIYers don't know this stuff they really shouldn't be working on their house wiring.
    Yes the video teaches useful information but what about the thousand other things it doesn't teach, that experience and training have taught, that could end up causing a house fire or electrocuting someone?

    I think the jumper conductors should have a size or diameter similar to the main feeder conductor.

    Common sense says you use a larger "jumper" for each breaker. Same as the feed wire. not rocket science.

    • @mrtechie6810
      @mrtechie6810 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Common sense is uncommon.

      Well it is actually science a 16mm cable underground is rated at 80 amps and overhead is rated to 63 amps due to length of run and derating due to heat in a switchboard a 4mm cable could actually be rated at 80 amps and easier to work with
