G5 MyM is not perfect, but it was very enjoyable, Misty's development was the top. Songs are very good and animations are super cute and inspiring. Writing was the hardest pill to take but I take it with a open mind.

I liked not loved Make your Mark' when it was running Yeah there were bad animation errors,plot holes big enough for the entire changing army to casually trot thtough, and just little wishing it was more like FIM nit-picks. I still liked G5 and for the most part enjoyed the story G5 was telling. I was on board with G5 until the episode S5E5 'Mane Smelody' That episode is foul and stunk (pun intended), this episode is nothing more then whoever wrote, directed, or produced the episode coming out of the shoe box and publicly revealing he/she has a stinky/dirty foot (hoof) fetish. Now I'm not a prude and I'm not one of those people who believe a kids cartoon should never have adult or maybe I should say instead mature concepts in the episode, but there is a line to not cross. I mean come the freak with on people the entire episode is centered around the ponies using a special hoof polish that makes the hoof very shiny, however the side effect is that it makes the hooves of the ponies who use it stink, reek, or be very offensive smelling. Why does a kids cartoon need to have an adult sexual fetish in it? Now if you're an adult and you are into things such as that then good for you have fun with not washing your or your partners feet I don't care you be you and have fun it's your life, but as I said earlier it's just super cringe and inappropriate to have that kind of thing in a cartoon meant for kids. After that episode I lost all interest in G5, I watched the remaining episodes of G5 except the post opaline episode. I love adore and cherish FIM, Equestria girls, tell your tale and lots of the fan made stuff so it's not like I'm done with MLP, but that kink episode was just that bad sheesh.
