He was the reason why murder nova used to be at the top all the time when chief was tuning his car.
There’s two things you have to do when it comes to the guy running your program you have to listen to what he tells you and never tell him no when he tells you to hand him the credit card no matter what the price is and Shawn wasn’t very good at the first one

Yes an no. Murder nova back before the promod builds came to the street had way less power than everyone else. So when they'd be on shit surfaces he'd hook they'd spin. Chief is a great tuner but Shawn has had guys that are the best in the world helping tune his cars and he's still having issues. But when Shawn does figure out his combo and gets everything lined out he will be at the top. Problem is once they start figuring the car out they go and make some huge changes to the car and it's back to the starting line of learning what the car wants.
@@kick_then_shift Well chief is no ryan martin with endless money but he still won a TON of stuff on really good surfaces too with way less power than many opponents and he was tuning his own engine so his tuningskills are undeniable any wich way you look at it and he is still winning stuff tuning his own car... like war in the woods. Chief and Jacky have easily become the best channel on TH-cam for: tech, build, and super high quality content. This channel and SRC are the best channels out! I highly doubt Billy or Bill excel in the “Dad Joke” category, so I’d suggest tightening up your game there to pull ahead as the #1. The stock caddy build has been awesome to watch and I know Jacky is sooooooo ready for this thing to rip! ✌️

Chief, I just want you to know that you and your show has got me through some of the hardest times in my life so thank you. In December of 2007 I also crashed my 03 GTO on the street which left me permanently paralyzed in my left leg. As a Marine it ended my career right there. Seeing you go through the same type of crash and seeing how it humbled you inspired me to have my first child which is my greatest accomplishment to date. Thank you Justin seriously. I follow your content and will continue to do so for as long as you put it out. Oddly enough my wife of 17 years is also Jackie…crazy! Thanks man. KAKAAWW!!!

I like how you’re going about this deal. Obviously setting the car up for street and no prep races. Most nitrous guys aren’t trying to get the most out of their combo on motor they’re relying on spraying a shit ton of nitrous to run anything half decent. Your approach is smart for the kind of racing you guys are gonna be doing. All you gotta do is tickle it with some spray and it’s likely a 4 second car. Easier on parts too.

What makes Big Chief so much better than everyone else is because he can drive and build his own cars and don’t forget it only took Big Chief a few races before winning his first championship In season 3 I think.
And you have people that have still not won a single championship race in the kings championship series like =
So basically what I’m saying is 75%ish of all the other racers still haven’t won a weekend championship in the no prep kings championship races.
But Big Chief went and won his first in only a few weeks.
Great insight into interpreting data. Finally getting decent long travel coilovers with sensors for my car soon so I like seeing how those more experienced use there data, especially since switch from the Haltech Elite to the FuelTech FT550. I know you'll figure it out. Wish I could give pointers but I'm a fuel injected turbo guy lol. But I respect what nitrous cars can do, especially off the line. Keep up the great work 🤘🏻

I've used HPT for years and as a trans builder was always my go-to to plot everything on a timeline and graph for tuning but wow is all I can say...on a carb'd rig to boot! Time to start booking custom data logger installs and chassis tuning haha, great stuff.

Chief the car is looking a lot better. It looks like you are having a few problems when you start to make big power. If you need any help just give me a call and I will be glad to help. All BS aside it looks like you are going in the right direction. It doesn't look like it is transferring the weight very well. Jackie can drive the hell out of it and I can't wait until all the bugs are out of it. 5:90's isn't bad on the sec full pass on motor.
