If you don’t smoke weed or aren’t looking to party then honestly Amsterdam isn’t really worth visiting. Hotels are extremely expensive, you can’t even buy tobacco in Amsterdam after 11pm every day of the week, the entire city loses its life at 1am on weekdays and 3am on weekends. The taxis are overpriced, the food all throughout Amsterdam is up there with the absolute worst in the world. You will have a more enjoyable time in Bucharest, Budapest, Prague or Vienna as opposed to Amsterdam.

The red light district sucks. Plenty of tourists and zero interest. There are so many better things to see in Amsterdam.
