Definitely a cool setup! And low cost too!
I have 3 of them. In use the same strategy with the BCP.
Love my cash + card. Great for utilities and electric purchases!
Pay utilities with the BILT card on the 1st and using the points transfer with status, it becomes at minimum a 4X catch-all card.
@@RSquared-travel-rewards good to know. I do pay certain utilities with my BILT card. Others are on the cash+ for the 5x
I would use cash+ for utilities but my utility companies charge convenience fees for paying with credit cards.
Thank you for the cash back focused video. I have the US Bank Cash+, the Cap One Savor One, and a 2% catch-all card.. Still looking to expand my portfolio.
Does the Wells Fargo 2% cash back allows you to transfer to Bilt ?
Great info. I think I would prefer the Wells Fargo Autograph card over the Active Cash card, but to each its own. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
I would use PayPal 2% cashback so I can also get 3% when use PayPal checkout
I agree Active cash is horrible Autograph is way better
US Bank cash plus, US Bank altitude reserve and custom cash seem to work best for me. The altitude reserve has a high annual fee but it’s made back very quickly.
That is a great setup indeed and if I were to run a strictly cash back setup I’d probably copy this one.
You'd have to make sure you spend at least $6k a year on groceries for it to make sense, even then you'd only walk away with 4.4% or so
You forgot to mention the discover it card, with its rotating quarterly categories. This quarter is especially useful with 5% on dining and restaurants
If it was a 6 card setup, no 6 would have been discover it
I thought that too but Chase ucr points obviously are gonna edge it
Venmo card is 3% back on top spend and 2% on next highest spend. Also is a Visa so works for Costco gas.
Amazon Prime card is so slept on
5% on everything at Amazon
Usually comes with a welcome bonus too
Costco card isn't bad if you shop there also
4% on gas
3% at restaurants
3% on travel also
The Affinity credit union card is a way nicer option if Amazon prime isn’t important to you.
For Costco card, you have to redeem cashback at Costco. Costco cashier does not listen very well so they doesn't give me cash back most the time that I ask. They just credit the cashback into my purchase which cost me 3% cash back on that purchase.
The BCP is the best card in my wallet.
Impressive!👏
I just started using the Fidelity cash card back on my non-category spending and redeeming it into a 529 plan for my daughter. I wonder what your thoughts are on this card? For now it seem like a decent 2% cash back card.
I used to use this card at Costco until I found 3% cashback at wholesale store.
Love the channel bro, but you're sleeping on the PayPal Cashback MasterCard. 2% catch all and 3% on all PayPal purchases.
Can be used to pay your quarterly taxes for instance if you're self employed to get 3% back which is net 1.13% after fees. But yeah, imo this card is better than both the other 2 carch alls you mentioned.
Got the grandfathered ducks unlimited 5% back on gas and sporting goods 👍
you are very lucky
I am also thankful to still have the Ducks Unlimited as well as AOD Visa Signature for 3% cash back on everything with no cap, fixed 7.49% APR, and no FTFs.
If credit cards didn't offer cash back i would not use them. Use credit cards, don't let it use you.
I'd just like to add that, if you get the Freedom Flex with the 5% on gas and grocery for the first year, during this quarter that stacks with the 5% on groceries for the quarter and, thanks to weird Chase math, you can get 9% cashback.
(Well, it's not that weird, the card has 1% base, +4% for the quarterly category, +4% for the first year bonus).
If any quarter this year has gas, it would be 9% gas as well ...
Does that count Wal-Mart?
@@carloshidalgo3298 No, it excludes Target and Wal-Mart
Need some timestamps or a picture of the card you're talking about in the corner of the screen.
Good idea
I think capital one savor card should be in this list
This might be a silly question, but would it hurt my credit score to open one of these, getting the bonus, and then canceling it?
Normally you keep it for a year, or pick a card that has a no annual fee card you can downgrade to after a year
Venmo visa or pay pal mc 3% cards
You forgot Discover
3:26 I disagree with this being the best I’d rather go with the Citi ciustom cash because with the 6k cap on the bcp thats $ cash back $300-$95= $205 ÷$6000=3.41% cash back really
The Citi custom cash is $0 AF and they have the same 6k cap🤷🏾♂️
The key is to stockpile Citi Custom Cash cards. I'm at 3 and hope to get a 4th by the end of 2024.
The Citi Custom Cash is a good card and a better option for groceries Your math is a bit off on the BCP. It earns 6% on first $6,000 spend on groceries. So $360-95=$265/$6,000=4.42%. Plus 6% on streaming and 3% on gas.
@@RSquared-travel-rewardsHow much time do you let pass before applying again? Thanks in advance.
Not a good setup with American Express which is not accepted in majority of local grocery store. Why not use AAA Daily Reward for 5% grocery include Walmart + 3% wholesale club in the quarter that grocery is not in the rotation category card so we can preserve $10000 limit on the AAA card for other quarter
Where do you live that doesn't accept AMEX? Ive lived in several states and every grocery store I've ever shopped at takes amex.

👍
Rip discover
Blue cash preferred is only worth it if the bonus over everyday makes up the 95
The subject is useful but all the TH-cam videos on credit cards feature the same cards by Amex, Citibank, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Capital One and Chase. What about some of the excellent cards offered by credit unions?
Thats what is missing from these videos... The credit unions are doing no fee cash backs with no categories, no junk fees
@@ericlee2931 I understand PenFed, Navy Federal and the State Department Credit Union offer attractive cards. Can you recommend others?
I understand why poeple hate WF, but credit card also? very unnecessary.
Well fargo is known to be infamous of scandals and open peoples accounts without their premission look at the wiki you can find answers there
First !!
More than $6,000 on food? Where are you two eating? Lol
There's four of us...
@@TheCreditShifu I'm sorry lol Congratulations 😊
Dang, you and three ladies? Save some for the rest of us brotha.
Not home for sure
Per year?? That’s only $500 a month.. not hard to do.. think about it.. don’t read just the first 5 words and react off of that.. I’ll give you an example.. $400 a month groceries for 2.. then if you go out once a week at someplace like Chili’s, SaltGrass, Applebee’s, Outback, etc, and for 2 you spend $50 (tip included.. if you get good service, don’t be a cheapskate!!), that’s $200 a month.. already you’re at $600 a month.. so in 12 months you spend $7200..
Hey Ben, totally unrelated question. Have you hosted several videos on Generation Tech or on one of the Star Wars Channels?

I hate Citi and don't care what wells Fargo did
