    The complexity of this guy's tracks is just mind boggling.

    To all the people criticizing the soundman, try to adjust Fleshgod yourselves, with the drums so loud and also make it so we can hear the piano is really hard, he did what he could. I never saw a Fleshgod live footage where the sound was balanced, I saw them live and they're awesome. However you can't capture their full potential on TH-cam

      It's quite clear that the instrument levels (and presets) are being automated by a DAW (which is playing the orchestral backdrop). The mixing is probably due to the band sending a stereo feed to the desk from an audio interface connected to a laptop which isn't quite optimal. The soundguy is probably blameless. I think Wintersun have a video on how they do a similar thing, it's the only way to play this music live if you have to play many festivals in a tour.

    The drummer is sooooo good....

      That drummer makes me question myself. Can I comprehend it or am I merely lost in the fulfillment of such a complex timepiece? The band is unreal and THANK YOU for posting!!!

  • @danmihaita3704

    It s a live sound capture, not edited and with few or no master on it. Stop complaining about the sound. The sound in there was completly different I assure you... The point of the video is to capture the live feel from that night, the official lives you see form other bands are mega edited, mixed and mastered....

      The sound is fine, and actually much better than 3/4 of the live videos on here. Unfortunately, you cannot capture the live essence of a FGA show without having someone punch you in the chest at 200BPM for an hour.

      @Compendyum 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This audio is completely acceptable compared with most non-official live feed of Fleshgod Apocalypse.

    cool
    жёсткая итальянская бескомпромиссность
    такой виртуозной музыки ещё не было
    техника Paoli in drumming и море гармоний у Ferrini
    да ещё Veronica согласилась петь
    похоже у этой банды консерваторское образование, уж очень профессиональное исполнение, несколько мелодических рисунков - высший пилотаж

    The sound was likely recorded on a phone and still sounds better than most festival recordings.

    • @istillsuckatguitar
      @istillsuckatguitar ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like a dry soundboard feed. The guitar has no delay, and there are no crowd voices close to the source. But I could be wrong.

  • @Yadoking-w4m

    Wait, is the keyboardist playing the symphony and orchestra on the keyboard too?

    • @danmihaita3704
      @danmihaita3704 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Backing tracks. No band with complex keyboards play all those live. FG apocalypse have maybe more than a hundred tracks with different instruments on a keyboard project. The other options are around 100 keyboards on stage or a full orchestra and choir.

    • @Yadoking-w4m
      @Yadoking-w4m 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I realized after the keyboardist showed one of the videos on making the instrumentals its insane and a lot of work.

      or the bands needs to clear more their performance, if the band is not playing clearly, the sound engineer cant do much!( not that i defend the SE, i've met a lot of them who dont know shit)

    is it just me or does the opera singer just seem really goofy? she is not the best preformed, I mean sure, her voice is great, but it really doesn't work live... she overpowers some parts of the song, and for things such as the chorus for "The Hypocrisy," I prefer to have only the bassist singing.

    • @sainthostien2739
      @sainthostien2739 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you listen well,you'll realize that the bassists sings false notes on The Hypocrisy unhappy but fortunately the opera singer is here to sing with him.
