  • I visit the outskirts of Bradford to see what the area is actually like. The most shops shut i have ever seen and alot of takeaways. I get down some back streets also to see the living standards of Bradford.

Bradford is absolutely massive. I understand if you won't be able to cover lots of different areas but what you've shown is more or less what most of the outskirts of Bradford look like. Towns and villages surrounding Bradford or in the district like Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Ilkley or Haworth are all worth visiting all with their own quirks and are very different to the city. Thanks for visiting

Totally understand your disappointment at all the closed shops. My personal understanding is that generally speaking (and yes, it IS a generalisation) South Asian people tend to open their shops later but also keep them open later into the evening too. It’s a cultural thing. But fair enough, that can be problematic if you’re more of a morning person. On another note, that big building near the park which you weren’t sure about is a large Hindu temple.

Overall a reasonably fair assessment and agree that the rubbish is disgusting and needs cleaning. With regards to chicken and veg shops, you're either deliberately closing your eyes or innocently missed the many options up Leeds road.
There's a plethora of places to grab a coffee and restaurants of all different cuisines even if there's a lot of takeaways/Asian restaurants.
You have a great fish & chips place, the famous mother Hubbards, you have Turkish, middle-eastern, English, American even French food in many many different restaurants. You also have many desssert places bakeries etc. Vibrant at night, full of people. Way better than a lot of British inner cities and that is supposedly the poorer end of Bradford.

You really need a guide to show the real Bradford, There is a lot more to Bradford than the Town, you can happily live in Bradford without even going to town .I`m sure you know this from the vids in Moor end or Low moor or whatever its called. The place is massive. The Pakistanis even moan about the immigration and `Taking our jobs` ect...but most of them were born here so they have a right in my opinion. You`ll find the down and outs down town drinking like any other town/city. There`s a big student area. Asians come from all over the north to the clothes stores. There`s a great choice of drugs available and no in your face signs of gangs hanging about. The police are corrupt as fuck along with the council, its a brilliant place. My daughter is from Bradford, i`m not.

Outskirts of Bradford, how about Buttershaw which is on border with Halifax. Or Bierley, Tong, Shipley, Queensbury, Idle, Eccleshill. You visit Asian areas, you will find chicken and vape shops. Its a shame you don't understand the economics of supply and demand.

What's that all gonna show? White families with kids running everywhere with nothing except a few shops, instead of asian families with kids running everywhere around lots of shops? Lol all those areas are a good 40 minute walk away from the town centre with maybe Fagley being the exception, although from one end of Fagley to the other it's rounding to a 40 min walk in total. I used to walk from Manningham to Eccleshill and that's 50 mins
