Who ever put this group together was a Genius!!! I love the fact that each one of them can sing the lead! That's amazing....well never happen again in history. They are amazing!
This is back when Cindy use to kill her little signature dance step, turning to the side and kicking her leg up. Always loved her and terry dancing...and they killed that james brown slide at 1:56
Yes, you can tell between Terry and Maxine that they were feelin' it! Maxine's smile is like Vanessa Williams, just Dazzling, and her vocal style reminds me of Stephanie Mills(one of Max's Favorites btw.) Loved the Outfits too, Terry and Max's were the best!
the 4original members were the whole package baby the best girl group of all times period and those dance moves and singing at the same please that's talent each one gave there talent to the group I hope they make up and tour again I never saw them live
En Vogue only gets better with time when you look back and realize how incredible they were. There never seemed to be competition between them! All beautiful, talented, and unique but the whole was out of this world. No group has done it better.
This is why I miss black female singing groups, and then after Destiny's child finally got good they broke up too! I'm so glad some form of En Vogue, TLC, and SWV is still around, to enjoy and groove to. I will feel the love and the thrill their voices and music give me forever:)
Dawn teaching Arsenio the Moves@4:12, just like a Diva. YAS! Loved the Choreography(Especially the Breakdown!), the Lyrics, Costumes, and of course the Vocals. One of their Signature Performances. Thank you Arsenio for consistently giving, "En Vogue" The BEST Stage to Shine!
A Day 2 remember 4 me- October 16th. 1989 on the San Leandro Marina is where (As usual) one of the many producers of TOWN BUSINESS promoted a little gathering. D. Foster & T. McElroy gathered the movers & shakers of the area for a get-together. Enough that we had the Late Great Micheal Erickson IN THE MIX along with Legendary DJ Davey D. With the Live of Chucky Booker, Troop plus the Producers & Members of Club Nouveau introduced for the first time EN VOGUE. The next Day the Loma Prieta earthquake! Hows that for Shaking up the Music Industry ...DJ Jackhammar
All Thingz Possible Entertainment Support Wow amazing story. I had moved to Phx 4mos earlier, oblivious to the magic happening 10hrs away but when ENVOGUE hit,it was really something special and it inspired me even more to pursue performing. I joined my first vocal group in Jan. 91 soon after seeing these cats perform on MLK DAY which i think was either the first year it was finally made into a Holiday in racist Phx but it may have been 1992. I sure miss those days.
@soulsista1220 I saw Hiram Bullock do that at the end of a break tune once on "Night Music." He timed it perfectly and actually slide out of camera view on purpose. It was beautiful!
max stay stumbling lolol watch the performance of them on Arsenio in the short white and black dresses. People were suggesting that she was drunk during the performance.
The breakdown is EVERYMUTHAFUCKINTHANG!!!
At 1:54 Terry SLID across that damn floor!!
@Debra Charles Yes Terry dances her ass off. By far the best dancer in the group. Just a great dancer in general. I think Cindy is second.
