- Competitive Pokemon Singles and also Doubles are dominated by a Funny little goldfish who can do more damage than Cosmic Beings of Space and Time, and also the Creator of everything. Chi-Yu has the highest Special damage output Pokemon has ever seen, and it is the strongest of the 4 new Treasures of Ruin. That's just awesome.
Even in the all new VGC Regulation C ruleset, Chi-Yu is a dominant presence.
Chi-Yu is confirmed to be pulling the strings.
Only Jim knows about the viability of Chi-Yu. All other sources of information are liars and are inaccurate.

Gen 10 is legally obligated to give us an insanely broken Grass fish.
We already got a broken Water (Dracovish) and Fire (Chi Yu) fishes, we need to complete the trio.
There is a nonzero chance it will be a broken Electric fish, maybe Mega Stunfisk

It still astounds me how long it took Chi-yu to get banned.
Part of it was because there were a bunch more broken threats near the start of the generation that overshadowed Chi-Yu, and then there was a long tera suspect that preempted any other tiering action even when everyone knew how messed up this thing was
He had the luck that smogon was bussier deciding on banning terrastalization or not.
@@suly5836honestly I was disgusted by the fact they were deciding on banning Tera. It's literally the only interesting thing about Gen 9. Without it, we would just have the same boring battles as we have for some time. It's why a lot tend to shift to playing the game.

Honestly, Chi-Yu gives me big Dracovish vibes. Both fish Pokémon that can wallop almost anything without a dedicated switch-in by simply pressing a button. Truly one of the strongest no-skill mons of all time.

I remember my jaw dropping when I saw Chi-yu do more than 50% or one shot Pokemon that resist its stabs. It is insane how powerful this little fish is
No skill goldfish is my favorite of the quartet this generation. I love all of them though, best legends we've had in a while.

Ting-Lu is definitely the best of the 4 in terms of competitive design. The offensive mons just click on STAB moves and Wo-Chien is sabotaged by its mediocre HP and horrible defensive typing. Ting-Lu gets balanced out by its lack of instant recovery, but has amazing utility, decent physical power and consistent damage from ruination, and insane bulk that makes it almost impossible to OHKO.

Jimothy, it was a big mistake to tell people that Pawmot had been geolocated. Now, long necked giraffe Pokemon Fargiraf, who is an agent of new, controversial Pokemon Spidops, can intercept Pawmot with it's powerful move "Psychic"

I was just shaken by the Chi Yu rampage in OU when the Tera Suspect was going on. I commented this on a earlier video where I decided to use tera dark dachsbun to try and foil Chi Yu’s psychic, cause what were my options?
the sad thing about Tera Dark Dachsbun is that even THAT doesn't really work. You take 50%+ on the switch in, and it relies on the Chi-Yu player assuming Dachsbun will get KO'd before it Body Presses (which I don't even think would OHKO since you'd still need to spec into HP/Sp.Def for Dark Pulse)
miraidon actually has the exact same damage output as chi yu, as both of their abilities boost their sp attack by 1/3, meaning a draco meteor from miraidon does the exact same damage as overheat from chi yu

AV Tyranitar was my choice in NDOU. I had a winning matchup against Chi-Yu, so I never felt like it was that busted … but requiring a specific check is ways a problem
I fear there may be an unfortunate development in the near future, assuming Quaquaval is able to free Sinistea and Pawmot agrees to use Revival Blessing on Great Tusk (Arceus rest his soul):
As we all know, in the Great Purge of RUBL, Spidops was banished to NU, but the abominable arachnid was able to save the life of fellow bug Pokemon Rabsca, with the latter being blissfully unaware of Spidops' heinous war crimes earlier in the same battle. However, it is more than likely Spidops knew that Rabsca was the only other Pokémon that learns Revival Blessing, and calculated Rabsca being put in danger in the first place to gaslight the poor scarab.
I have reason to believe that Spidops intends to further trick Rabsca into paying off a "debt" he owed, and if we do manage to eliminate the evil mastermind Iron Mugulis, _it_ may be revived to further continue its reign of terror.

Chi-you is such a ridiculous Pokémon there are Pokémon that can do more damage then it but all of them are either Ubers level Pokémon, so inconsistent at getting that damage it doesn’t even matter or they’re so flawed with low speed and defenses they’ll never get a chance to attack you, it really is amazing that this thing was ever allowed in OU

since paldea introduced the paradox pokemon, that in theory show reflect the pre-historic perspective of the people and the ancient monsters that rommed the Earth, this region actually introduced some the modern monsters that romme the earth, and Chi-Yu is the apex of the apex in this world.

Chi-Yu's simplicity also lends to its' strengths. Pokemon that are simple can be melded to the meta game much easier than ones that have complex roles to fill. For example, Kartana is very similar to Chi-Yu in the way you use it. It was very easy to mold Kartana to the metagame because it does one thing so well that you can afford to lose some of its' strength for its' one job to easily distribute it to another, as was the case with Assault Vest Kartana. I highly suspect that we will be seeing some insane and seemingly nonsensical Chi-Yu sets.
So what happened to Quaquaval rapid spinning Sinistea? Did we give up on that plan?

Where are you getting Effective Base 197 Special Attack from? If we consider that Beads of Ruin gives Chi-Yu an effective 25% Boost to its Special Attack (it's a 25% Decrease to opponent Special Defense), that only gives Chi-Yu an Effective Base Special Attack of 168.75, not 197. Add the 50% Boost from Choice Specs, and you get 253.125. I'm really confused by how you came up with 197, and would like to know how, if that's possible.

When your video said that Chi-Yu was one of the strongest attackers I was hoping that it'd be viable in Pokemon Go for a raider, but it's only because of it's ability. It probably won't take Reshiram or Shadow Blaziken's spot.
Kinda debatable if it really is the strongest special attacker yet. I know it's not finally it's moves but Kyogre's rain gives it's stab a 1.5x boost while also allowing it to use stronger coverage like thunder, while also having a higher base stat and access to even greater nukes in water spout and origin pulse

Day ??? 2: Iron Mugulis appears to afraid of another titan like itself, called Chi-yu, a so called ruinous fire goldfish. Pawmot's revival could revive Great Tusk, but it may need the help with such titans as well.
just to help the algorithm, Chi-yu still the nicest between the ruined beasts. it`s design is simple and dope, the typing is nice and as the video shows, it`s pretty useful.
