    These things are a true BLESSING. To be able to wash clothes in between laundry matt visits is extremely convenient. I just do my wash in this and hang the clothes up in the tub on an extra shower rod and within a few hours they're dry I love it. And best of all it doesn't pull alot of power and it's free.

    I love your reviews 😍 & Omg! I finally got my 17 pounder one & I love it. The first day I got it I washed 15 loads and it washed them all so perfectly 😭 we fell behind because our original washer gave out but I love it! Now I wash every time my little basket fills so we never fall behind 😂 also, the spin dry works really well. It dries it sooooo fast, literally just 2 min. and its dry. But I still use my dryer that I already had just so I dont have to hang dry or wait till they're arent damp. All in all this is a really great investment. It's a hassle with the buckets and filling it, so anyone looking to buy this try it in the shower or tub. Wayyyy more convenient, but then again I am 6 months pregnant lol. My fiance helps me drain and empty the buckets. He works in a dairy and constantly has mud and dirt and cow poop so I soak his pants in a bucket of extremely hot water to get all of that off before I wash it in mine cause I dont want to risk clogging the pipes or washer drainer hose & bacteria also. I've washed slippers, blankets, robes, pants, sweat pants, and towels. Almost everything fits but I do have the 17 pounder portable. Definitely worth it guys.

    You should know that when you spin the clothes, your supposed to let the drain down to exit the water out for an even dryer spin and releases ALL the water- just a step easier and faster.

      ….and that's how you get ALL the water out of the spinner

  • @undertheradar001
    @undertheradar001 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I was brought up with a twin tub washing machine. The way I work is to pour in roasting hot water and then start with whites. Then put the clothes in the spinner and fill the spinner with a bucketload or two with water and the spin dryer will rinse the clothes. I keep pouring in water and then spinning until the water runs clear; then put in conditioner with water; leave for 2 mins and then spin, whilst the machine is washing also. Using this method, you can conveyer belt all of your washing starting with whites, then coloureds and then darks as the water cools in the main wash. The spinner will slow until the water empties but then will speed up. This is the way I have always used a twin tub and was shown by my parents and relatives from childhood. It is far faster than an automatic machine as it is literally like a laundry conveyer belt; and you can get through a full days wash in about 15-20 minutes. It saves so much water and time over an automatic machine that takes an hour each load, and you need a separate load for whites, coloureds etc. Start with whites though!! The water saving is amazing as the main washing water gets recycled!!

      @Abby Lowe it depends of the quality of the color of the jeans, in Germany it's very good washing powder we use, it's bleach in it but not as aggressive as Klorox for example. You can use a low bleach one time if it's dirty like that, otherwise use detergent, better powder for color and dirt don't get out with cold water, that's why they don't get clean, it seems that you have no idea how to wash laundry how it seems.

    • @celenesanchez6239
      @celenesanchez6239 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Frau M unfortunately here in the states am afraid we don’t have that type of bleach as far as I know, even a tiny bit of Clorox will damage the color clothes. Tide has a new line Tide Bleach Color is pretty good. I do think that warm water works for all fabrics, cold water doesn’t dilute the detergent properly that is why is use in the rinse cicle.

    Always amazed that a small machine with only one half being for washing, holds a *Lot* of water. Excellent for people in apartments/tiny homes! Plus, the only thing I'd do if you have to hang a sheet or jeans in the closet to dry, is to put one of those containers in the closet that soak up moisture, so you don't get mold! Also, you might not have the machine in the tub while it's washing/spinning, but you *Could* put it in there after you drain most of the water out, just to fully drain it in the tub. The reason you'd only put it in the tub after draining most of the water manually, is it'd be too heavy to lift/carry into the bathroom & you might slip & spill it all on the carpet!

      @@Michelle-fi3ze I would spin the wet clothes dry to remove most of the soapy water, drain the washer tub, put the clothes back in and add clean water. Run the wash for 6 min (that's your rinse) and spin dry again. You might want to repeat rinse and spin at least once; detergent is harder to remove than people think, especially if you put too much detergent in the first place. Check to see the water that drains out of the spinner is clear. You also want the spinner to drain while spinning so water doesn't build up in the bottom.

    I didn’t have this exact model, but I had one similar and decided to start using it in my kitchen. I know this isn’t possible in all kitchens but for those where it is, I highly recommend it. I had it sitting next to the kitchen sink so that the hose could directly drain into it that way. That way the machine wasn’t sitting directly in water (like in a tub) but was still easily near a drain and a plug at the same time.
    I had a neighbor that had theirs on a little two tier shelving unit that worked really well as well! She still had to use a bucket for the drainage, but it kept it elevated so she didn’t have to move it.

  • @krich106
    @krich106 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Considering you can buy this for 80bucks with shipping. Then can buy a full-automatic one for 180bucks, that works just like a full size washer machine(meaning you put in clothes, soap, then do nothing till it is finished). Instead of all the extra you do with this 80dollar unit(manual rinse, water, washer to spinner, possible repeat). Then with the 180dollar unit, the spinner is same as the washer, so all clothes fit in the spinner.
    My question is would you rather have spent 2x the price for that convenience? I'm on the fence but thinking i'm just going to go with the fully automatic one. Thinking that convenience is probably worth that price.

    Really good video! You've done great to double your subscribers since this post. 👍 This looks like a great product. You were very thorough but I'm a little confused how the washer side drains. I don't think you showed that here but I'll go check out your previous videos. Thanks so much for sharing this! 😊

      @@diamondingram Awesome! I'm gonna seriously consider getting one esp since it isn't as expensive as I thought it'd be (I hate coin laundry!). I'm thinking if I get it maybe set it on a large handicap bench in my garden tub so I can fill and drain without carrying buckets of water. I'll figure it out. LOL! Thanks! 😊

      I hear sometimes it messes up when you put too much strain on the engine/spin cycle so you most likely overloaded it 😭 I got warranty on mine girl since they're small you know?
