The suits , did not add buoyancy, it was due to compression of muscle + streamline efficiency. Please understand the science, good luck in doing you commentary of swimming. I am a swim coach Olympic level.
From many of the sources I have seen, buoyancy is a feature of the super suits. Thank you for your comment
@deonbadenhorst it not , as the materials used in the suits ,did not add any buoyancy, that is the suits approved for fina events at the time.
It was a great swim, but this is just a clickbait title. #15 performance all time. That 142.00 body suit record will remain untouched for awhile
The title is referring to the 400, in which he was #4 performer of all time and .2 off of the world record
And in the 200 he was #7 performance of all time, still an incredible swim but yes I would definitely not say almost breaking the world record in that one. I would recommend you watch the video
