On todays video I headed out to the river to fish a different kind of bass tournament. This tournament had categories for multiple species of fish so you could target any species of fish that had a winning category. We decided to mainly target the bass and bowfin and it paid off!! Barometric pressure they actually make a meter for it. Or go old school to the farmers almanac. 🤔🤦‍♂️. Sucks fishing in it getting wet but them fishies are already wet lol. Good luck as I’m saying this at the beginning of the video

What kind of summer rain gear do you use?

I use Columbia lightweight rain gear for summer.......its extremely waterproof and lightweight. However it does get a little hot but I havnt found one that doesn't yet

Need to be fishing a trailer hook on the buzzbait

Putting a trailer hook on a Toad style buzzbait ruins the action and you would have to take it on and off every time you changed bodies. But the main thing is that it doesn't perform right with a trailer hook on it

@@GunnFishTV you’re retrieving too fast, 1 and 2, you’re instantly reacting to the fish striking the bait which does not give the fish the 2 to 3 seconds it needs to get a bigger bite in the mouth. More than likely, they were skin hooked

@davidlivesay4240 these river fish eat it or they dont. Wait 3 seconds on a frog bite and you wont catch a single one. Lake and pond fish are completely different than these fish
