Appreciate you bearing the elements to test the waters to see what you can catch and provide us with some videos. Catch or not every time out you learn something or have a first. Like the bass in 31-34 degree water. Thanks for your videos.
Another awesome video! You are truly dedicated, 34 degree water is insane for this part of VA. It’s really cool to see that they’re still active even though the conditions are way outside the norm.
Awesome I catch bass all the time when I'm scoping for crappie in the winter... Typically when you are Crappie fishing and you see a fish really shallow like 5 ft or less cruising out in the middle. It's usually a bass
@ not really my thing, used to do a lot, just for panfish. I’ll wait for some open water. Here in WI we have a year round catch and release season for bass. Be back at it in March.
@dann.294 honestly its hard for me to say but overall probably the Mach Jacked but I love the new Mach 1 Shallow Spool as well. My favorite Mach rod overall is the Mach 2. Its a great rod for $99
Kev man, I don't know how you did it, but it's definitely DEDICATION!! Great video and thanks for freezing your @ss off to share a video with your followers! You the man!!!
Heck yeah man you got one. It's been super cold water temps. My smallmouth bite has shut down hard. Ok to solve cold hand problems. You need Rip Curl wet suits flashbomb gloves. 3/2mm are the ones that you can fish in also use 5/3mm but are little thicker. They are the deal been cleaning pool's all winter pole goes in the water comes out with ice on it everything is cold but my hands and stay dry never wet. Check them out. Thanks again for another great video. Late.
Yessir! Super cool. I burn it in winter. Had some luck on Rudds Creek with throwing that and the chandelier. I want to go chase the birds over there but it’s too dang cold. Great video sir! Going to watch your new one now.
Man I just got a new ranger rt188, and I swear the dang hull is leaking. Anytime I run down the lake water fills up under my feet. Smh It only takes on water when I'm running fast
You very likely have a small crack in the front of the hull. Mine has been welded there multiple times. Dont drain it after you load it and when you get home wipe off the bottom of the hull. After you do that look closely for any drip of water coming from your hull
Catch-em 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣❤️😊

What's the first time I ever saw one on your channel and they're freezing cold water hey Bass must have been really hungry
Yea they definitely must have been hungry to eat in 34 degree water!

Hello from Nottaway sir! Cold enough for yah? What gear reel were you cranking on?
5:6.1 gear ratio is all I use for cranking. I like a slow retrieve reel for a crankbait

What river you on im here in va also
This is the Nottoway
Weird the bass was more active than crappie
I know. They wouldnt even move
Think you got the wrong description!
Whoops lol. Changing it now
A tip from me to you, wear latex gloves under your winter gloves. Your hands won't get wet, and they will stay a little wormer 😎
I appreciate that!
