I was thrown into purging my 3 bedroom/basement/garage home when my ex filed for divorce. I was 62 five years ago and I was devastated. When I finally got out of bed I began “cleaning up my life”. Moving to another state will definitely motivate-now I’m in an apartment close to my grandsons and still purging. I’ve learned that memories and love are not in “things”. If he confirmed your brothers presence that would be so neat and then we would know Tyler Henry abilities were real. This was a great Video Margaret thanks for sharing your life with us. Margaret, I kept 2 Boom boxes. When I lived in South Carolina on occasion we would be without electricity so I would get batteries for them . I took one to my neighbor always put it on good station for her. I used my gas grill for coffee and warming soups for myself and her.

I can’t believe I actually enjoyed this ! Watching someone clearing out their closets!! Something I’ve been trying to do but don’t get too far ! So I sat with a cup of tea & enjoyed your video maybe I’ll do mine get I find some energy 🤣🤩
I had 2 of those radios that you took out of the closet. I kept them in my shed. When ice or a storm caused our electric to go out I would put the batteries in them . I took one to my neighbor and I had one for me. They really came in handy we kept up with news and weather.
Tales of a haunted camera. I LOVE that you say "spaz attack"! I know, it's probably not PC, but it's one of those things that we used to say in high school and it is very, ummm, useful. PS: I have closet envy.

The cat walked by when the camera was turning...young people need boundaries and that's why the need our input, our wisdom before they make decisions...they are going to listen to many voices...some not very wise. And those voices won't help them soar and even worse they might crash, when they decide to spread wings and fly. They can learn from our mistakes and not have to pay the very dear price of learning via experience.

Watching you has encouraged me to go back and complete the next phase of my clothing purge. When we moved to a smaller home, I got rid of lots, but there are some sentimental things I simply need to get honest about. Heck, I will never ever wear most of that stuff. Thanks, Margaret. Good Morning Margaret. Oh no, don’t throw the baby blanket and baby shoes away. Ask your sons if they want them. Lol. Your doing what I’ve been doing for a week. I did a deep, deep cleaning out of everything. Now, I’ve got 3 large boxes full of clothes and miscellaneous to hopefully go into a friends yard sale. Unless she cancels it. If so, I will take everything to a women’s shelter. Whew, it’s work isn’t it? But what a good feeling once it’s done. My apt feels fresh and opening my closets now is so nice to see everything organized and not crammed packed. You are so good at doing things like putting in a pole for hanging clothes up. Great fun, thank you for bringing us along. Yes, I’ve lost my three best, best friends a yr apart. And two just 2 months apart, so no more. I can’t handle the pain. But I so agree in that we should and hope to guide the younger generation in planting little nuggets or seeds in hope that they will sprout and they will take those seeds and grow in a better way. I truly believe your going to love Retirement ! It will take time to adjust, but look out Margaret will be free. Lol.

Margaret....just love your videos! Never get tired of them - in fact when I know there is a new one--I get so excited and plan a time when I can watch without interruption. You have inspired me to go thru my dressers and start pitching out things. I have to plan to do that though cause I will need a good 2 hours. In fact, I am looking forward to it. So sorry about your brother. I know you miss him. My brother is two years younger than me. As a child all I wanted to do was kiss his chubby cheeks and he hated it!! We became really close again when my parents passed away. We also have a sister who has given us two beautiful nephews, but my brother and I never had children. I think that is why when we became 'orphans', we leaned on each other. He is my 'go to' whenever I have a problem or need to just talk things thru. Didn't want to make this about me....sorry. Anywho....thanks for a great video. Just love it when I see you using tools - what you did to your closet was great!! You had a plan and saw it through. Also your yard work looks awesome. Hi, I'm Margaret too! When I start a cleaning project I work for maybe 5 minutes also, make a plan, and then take a break. During which time my plan changes and I'll putter with something else. I'm 71. I don't know if I'll ever get stuff done. Love your adventures.
Margaret, If you could see my closet, you would feel good about yours!!! If I even picked up a drill, I would end up dropping it on my right foot (that's the one I favor for dropping things on...). I still have baby blankets, jackets and other things from my kids and two of them are in their 50's with the youngest nearly 40..... With those important things said😁....I am so glad my mother and ladies of her age gave me input as I was growing up. That input probably saved my life at times!!

Now that your clothes are hung up and it has been a success I will tell you you can get a rack that is made by the same company that make a rack that hooks up to the white slots you have in the back of the cupboard. No I won’t. Oh look someone else has clothes in the cupboard that still has the tags on.
it’s funny but prescription meds are too strong for me, but Exedrin etc don’t work well. I found a generic “Careone Migraine Relief” at Hannaford that works phenomenally well for me. One tablet (crushed of course)

My sons unfortunately don’t want the “stuff”. Tossing it now saves them from all the work later. SO hard to do!
